Guest Reviews
- david (10/5): - Friendly owner wonderful breakfast andbgreat room.
- Alexander (10/5): - A lovely B&B set in a quiet countryside location and yet close to many of Cornwall’s attractions. The property was extremely comfortable with June being the perfect host. The breakfast was outstanding with many choices available. The only improvement that could be made would be a better WiFi signal in the room but this did not affect our stay in any way. I would definitely stay here again.
- Amber (10/5): - Absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful B&B! Beautiful room, stunning views, incredible hospitality, fantastic breakfast! What more could you want! We will definitely stay again 10/10
- Malcolm (10/5): - Breakfasts of the highest quality- great choice and presentation. Beautiful outlook in annexe, quiet and safe. Great comfort. Splendid, caring hostess.
- Lesley (10/5): - Well set out, nice swimming pool and gardens.
Peaceful, lovely hosts, close to beaches and the Lizard.
Made to feel comfortable and nice suggestions for the beach and walks. Would love to visit again.
- Sander (10/5): - Good room in nice & friendly B&B in rural area. Good, complete breakfast. Apart from the rooms, there are premises where I could quietly excercise my guitar playing. June, the pleasant hostess, gave good service and informations to make the best of our holidays in Cornwall.
- Vicki (10/5): - We stayed here to visita few places in Cornwall and what a wonderful place to stay. The bathroom had everything needed and the walk in shower was great after a days walking. The balcony was lovely to sit in an evening and watch the sun go down or on the chairs sat by the patio doors. The bed was comfy and a roomy enough for 2 tall people.
The room itself was a great size so we didnt feel we were getting under each others feet.
Breakfast was lovely and a great choice of food on offer.
The host attentive and welcoming.
We will definately be back!
- Darren (10/5): - Our accommodation was exceptional, very clean, beautifully decorated and very welcoming.
We were looked after very well and the owners were very friendly and helpful
- alan (8/5): Quiet and peaceful. - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Tregaddra made an excellent base for exploring The Lizard and Lands End areas of Cornwall. A huge breakfast was offered with plenty of choice and the home cooked evening meals were exceptionally good and plentiful. Covid regulations were in force and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We would return if in the area and would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts.
- Jeffrey (8/5): worthwhile place to stay - Excellent base for visiting Lands End as well as the Lizard peninsula. June was an excellent hostess. Covid measures were excellent and we felt very safe.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The lady owner who welcomed us is a delight. She was very friendly and helpful. Our view was superb - the landscape of Cornwall is magnificent. On the whole the room was perfect. However two desperately disappointing problems ruined our stay: the hot water ran out early evening after one shower - inexcusable. And the breakfast was quite simply the worst hotel breakfast we have ever experienced in 50 years of regular travel. The ordered hard boiled egg was runny. The watery cold scrambled eggs had been microwaved - inedible. The kipper came from a frozen packet. The toast for the eggs were badly undercooked, the ordered side toast overcooked and out of a packet. The grapefruit segments were tinned. All in all a disaster. Such a pity considering the other lovely elements including its perfect setting. Was Covid a factor/excise re breakfast - no! That aspect of our stay was expertly handled. Clean safe efficient and so friendly. Recommended in the past for its breakfast online, our experience was a major disappointment. Maybe a glitch?
- Verified traveler (8/5): summer break - The good, the room was spacious clean, food was excellent
Not quite so good shower was a bit of a problem
Disappointing the bill was charged at 20% VAT not five
- Andrew (10/5): Superb. - Loved staying here. June was very friendly without being intrusive. Tasty breakfast, bang on time, great variety.
Booked an evening meal, home cooked steak pie - and this was delicious.
Clean and tasteful throughout. Far reaching country views in every direction.
We hope to stay again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved our stay at this charming B&B in the idyllic Cornish countryside. Newly renovated bedroom and bathroom was super clean and comfortable, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and some time on the Tennis court before checking out. Highly recommended!
- Kylie (10/5): Fantastic b and b - We had a fantastic 5 nights, June could not have been more welcoming, she cooked us an amazing breakfast every day and the place was spotless.
- Sharon (10/5): This B&B is certainly worth recommending - The bed and breakfast farmhouse was excellent . The host, June was very accommodating and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were furnished to a high standard and breakfasts were excellent.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly owner good breakfast Morden room only downside was shower was a bit hit and miss but overall good value for money and a beautiful location
- Anne (10/5): Quiet retreat. - This B&B exceeded my expectations. Peaceful location and large comfortable bed. Cheerful, helpful owner who was able to give lots of local information. Excellent service throughout our 3 night stay. Plenty of breakfast choice. Will definitely use again.
- Peter (10/5): Outstanding. - June absolutely fantastic. Nothing too much trouble.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great experience - Lovely hostess and clean, well-appointed room. We loved the lounge - very comfy and cheery fire. Also provided excellent suggestions for local activity!
- Paul (6/5): - Friendly owner, good food, very comfy bed. Downside the neighbouring guests might as well have been been staying in the same room. I can only surmise that the dividing wall was only plaster board. I really did n't want to hear what they were doing or saying whilst trying to sleep.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely place. - Beautiful location. Friendly owners, great facilities, lovely room, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended.
- Derek (10/5): Superb one night stay - Fantastic one night stay. in a spacious, clean room with ensuite shower, bath, comfortable bed and patio doors on to a balcony looking out over the countryside.
Our host was friendly and advised us on local places to eat. The breakfast was excellent and we look forward to our next stay.
- David (10/5): 5 star hotel service in a family home - Wow, what a lovely place. A peaceful position in the Cornish Countryside. From the moment we arrived, June made us so welcome with a lovely pot of tea in the lounge. The décor throughout is so tasteful and our room was magnificent. We have stayed in 5 star hotels with lesser facilities. Breakfast was brilliant and June's restaurant recommendations were all fantastic.... Yes, we loved it!
- Peter (10/5): Great little b&b - It’s a working farm with a B&B , the rooms are clean and nicely decorated.
Breakfast was excellent and the host very helpful on where to visit and eat etc
- DorsetDelBoy (10/5): - Lovely welcome and a pot of tea on arrival, in beautiful spacious lounge, June was friendly and always smiling from the moment we arrived to our departure. Nothing was too much trouble for her, even insisting she got the Breakfast sauces 'as we were on holiday' - I did try and beat her to it. Lovely bedroom with 'large bathroom/shower and breakfast in awesome large boutique type room with excellent views. All facilities (incl swimming pool/tennis court in well kept gdns) and good wifi/TV signal (if that's what you want) - and so spotlessly clean everywhere. There was nothing not to like. Thankyou June, you made our stay very special.
- Annie (10/5): - Comfortable quiet and stylish
- Gary (10/5): - Excellent, excellent, excellent. Peaceful inside and outside. Everyone very friendly, comfortable room. I could have just sat and read in the living room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Most enjoyable time. Staff very friendly and place clean and tidy.
- steveo (10/5): Country retreat - A wonderful b&b set on a working farm in the middle of the beautiful Cornish countryside. The owners are very friendly & helpful, an ideal location for those wishing to walk the area. A vehicle is needed to access the b&b though. Good value, great room & superb breakfasts! Will definitely go again.
- Fred (10/5): Superb Accommodation and Service - We really enjoyed our stay, our Host June was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. We were greeted with a tray of Tea/Coffee and our room was very comfortable and well-appointed. Will definitely return and recommend to others.
- Roy (10/5): Quiet and close to Helston - Quiet location but close to Helston and a number of good eating venues.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely place, lovely people - I can't recommend this place highly enough. June and Jon were very welcoming and very helpful.
The breakfast was outstanding too.
- Julia (10/5): How does she do it ? - In a lovely scenic area on a working farm. Room (and indeed all the B & B) was spotless. Breakfast was filling and well cooked. Both the "lady and Man" of the house were friendly and there is a list of suggested eating and visiting places in a well thought out file in the room.
Nothing seemed to much trouble for the owner, and I really don't know how she does everything. Not only does she keep the place spotless, but works on the farm, does the gardening, washes all the sheets etc herself, and still manages to be pleasant and welcome all her guests.
- Adrian (10/5): - had a fantastic time at traggadda farm , lovely room and location is really good as well , june was a fantastic host and cooked a lovely breakfast every morning , any thing you needed to know about the area from places to visit or places to eat june helped us in everyway possible , would recommend the traggadda farm to anyone who wants a peaceful and relaxing stay near to the lizard point .
- Verified traveler (10/5): - warm welcoming. peaceful with the most comfortable bed I have slept in.
- Gill (10/5): Beautiful B&B in Rural setting, lovely - Would definitely use this B&B again and have already recommended it to friends and relatives.
Very welcoming hostess. Immaculately clean, wonderful breakfasts.
- chris (10/5): Fantastic Farm B&B - We stayed here for a long weekend and I must say it exceeded our expectations. We were made to feel very welcome, our room was very good, nicely decorated with modern fixtures and fittings. June was very helpful, with good recommendations and advice. We would certainly stay here again if we visit this part of Cornwall again.
- Dariya (10/5): Amazing stay - Everything was just perfect during our stay. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. On arrival we were offered a cup of tea, which was great after such a long journey. I think we had the best room, as the view was so lovely, beds so comfortable and everything was spotless. Full English breakfast was really nice, not greasy or overcooked how it usually happens in a lot of places. I have to words to express our gratefulness to the lady, who owes the place for her hospitality and all the tips she gave us. Thank you so much! And I really hope I will be staying with you in the future :) I already recommended this place to some of my friends!
- sarah-jo (10/5): Lovely setting - Had a lovely short break at the farmhouse :-) Friendly host. Very clean and tidy throughout, would highly recommend
- michelle (10/5): - Really friendly and welcoming. June was very helpful with recommending places to visit and eat

- Sarah (10/5): Highest quality in lovely Cornwall - A lovely place to stay with a big beautiful room in spotless Farm B&B and a warm welcome. Looking forward to going back.
- Godley (10/5): Close to Helston, Beautiful views - Beautiful B&B. Very well maintained. Cozy. Beautiful views. Delicious full English Breakfast.
June was a wonderful host.
- G&A (10/5): Lovely farmhouse close to exciting coves - June was lovely and welcoming. She gave us tea and showed us to our room. The room was clean and very comfortable. The view was lovely over the rolling hills and far away in the dip we could see the beautiful Cornish see. June remembered what we usually like for breakfast and was a very cheerful hostess. She lights a fire in the living room so we could sit there read or just watch the fire - a perfect way to rest after an exciting day in the coves.
We found some interesting things to do from the leaflets at the farmhouse. It is lovely to stay with local families as they can tell as about the surrounding area. We made friends with some other visitors and we still keep in touch as we have common interests. There's ample parking available. We stayed there for about 10 days. It was a very enjoyable holiday for us.
- Brian (10/5): Great location to tour around Cornwall - Stayed there for four nights and we had a wonderful time.
From the moment we were warmly greeted by the owner June on arrival to the moment we left, everything was so good.
Would not hesitate in staying there again and strongly recommend this property.
- Heather (10/5): Peaceful nights stay - Enjoyed an overnight stay at this peaceful B&B located down a quiet country lane. Large bedroom nicely furnished with spectacular views from the balcony. Good breakfast and friendly welcome from June. Would recommend and wished we had booked to stay longer
- Lisa (8/5): One night stay - Beautiful room with gorgeous views.
Nice, clean and airy overlooking the garden.
June was exceptionally pleasant and very helpful with local information.
Breakfast was good, full English.
Would recommend x
- nikki (10/5): Single female point a view - Being a female on my own it can be a bit worrying, and not knowing the area or people. But as soon as I walk in I was welcome in and June treated me with a friendly smile and tea and made me feel safe and welcome, the b+b is set in lovely grounds area view lovely yes you are in the middle of no were and you need to drive, but only takes 10 mins and your in town and shops. I had the four poster bed it was warm soft and countable breakfast you can have want you want cearal fruit yogurt toast and cooked full breakfast drinks all kinds
- Dejan (10/5): An absolute delight - Room was cleaned daily, breakfast was lovely and June was very friendly and helpful. Location is picturesque and very well situated as a starting point for exploring west cornwall. I will definitley be coming back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Short stay in Cornwall - Amazing place
- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay, but not outstanding - Stayed there for a few nights and we were mislead by the ratings from Hotels.com and Tripadvisor. Both sites rate the hotel as outstanding but it does not deserve it, I would rate it between 3.5 and 4. Very comfy bed and June is a very kind host who takes great care of her guests. Average breakfast and we did not get the hotel room we booked, so a little disappointment there as room standards were not really great, rather average. Overall, nice cozy hotel, but ratings are overpromising.
