- Lisa (5/5): Would not recommend. - Proximity to snow park no outlets on each side of bed, bed was very low and hard, foot of bed was higher than the head of the bed. Tiny toilets. No fan in bathroom. AC/ heater unit went off constantly throughout the night, mess of cords into a power strip and you had to track down outlets to use any kind of device. Hot water pot didn't work. Mat at front door looked chewed on. No front desk. Cafe closed early and opened late so that we had no services at all during our time there.

- Courtney (2/5): Pictures are deceiving - The national park being right outside the door of the room. Tv didn’t work, so many bugs in the room when we arrived, added to the uncleanliness, made it worrisome to sleep or even want to get under the sheets on the bed in case there were more bugs. Furniture was more run down than the pictures implied, stains everywhere. Ac vent was broken so I had to use my own supplies to try and make it work. Floor was dirty with chunks of debris left from before, had to keep my dog from eating mystery items on the floor.

- Chris (10/5): The feeling of LOGE having a great time helping you have a great vacation is a different and welcome vibe. More persona - It caters to outdoorsy, bring the kids, the dog, family and friend groups. Has nice coolers, outdoor equipment to check out. Is an older “motor hotel” that has been fitted out for fun, outdoorsy people. The rooms are not fancy, but the mattress was super comfortable, sheets and towels nice, an in room hammock and bike racks. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hot tub big and clean. Outdoor fireplaces and grills, with complementary some-mores packages complete with roasting stick and hot chocolate and a big container of marshmallows to cater to the young and young at heart. Visited during January, close to snow, and outside/but still right next to Bend, a few roundabouts away from all the stores, restaurants and activities. Perfect location. Had a fantastic time, perfect basecamp for snow vacation. Not much outdoor lighting in the parking lot, pretty dark walk back to room from hot tub.

- CWSEN (10/5): Recreational haven in the mountains - Our two LOGE rooms were fabulous- warm, clean, comfortable and unique in all the best ways. A beautiful setting. Staff was exceptional. Our trip was cut short due to a pet-related emergency and loss, but we very much appreciated the kindness staff showed to our family. We had been excited to borrow LOGE bicycles (especially since ski slopes weren't yet open), and had looked forward to exploring other amenities like the firepit and games room. So we'll be sure to go back! A great environment to holiday, and we really applaud their business model. nothing

- Diane (9/5): It was nice to relax and soak in the hot tub. - We live in Bend and come out to The Loge often with our dogs. We like to grab a beer and sit by the fire and walk around the property with our dogs. We also come out to events here. It’s sad to see that developers are taking over so much of the surrounding property to build houses! This is such a great place.

- 294gogo (6/5): Good for adventurers, not for comfort-seekers - This hotel feels like if an instagram story of a moderately attractive man doing a cold plunge with a time of day stamped over it. It's cute and trendy. But if you're not the target demographic it doesn't really hit. If you are a bro who's identity is their outdoor activity, and you don't plant to stay in your room much, then this place totally works. You can hang your bike in your room! If you're looking for a place to put your bag after a day of hitting galleries, local cafes, and a walk through a city park you can also hang it in your room! On the bike hanger thingy. There is a hammock in the room (cool!) which was the most comfortable piece of furniture — far more comfortable than the mattress on the bed. The pillows are just as firm. My husband and I figured this is more bro stuff — maybe they saw on social media that rock hard mattresses and pillows are alpha. Meanwhile the sofa was wild in that I've never sat in anything less comfortable and more cheaply made. If the mattress/pillows and sofa were upgraded, this would be a wildly different review. On a positive note the lobby is very cute, and a great place to internet while you watch people check in and out their outdoor equipment. The furniture was comfy, music was fine. They have a great selection of beer and non-alc bevvies. Location: It's kind of far BUT in Bend nothing is more than a 10 minute drive. But if you're going to be spending your time more in the center of town it's far. Other plus is that there is a YETI cooler which I think you can take out and use on your adventures. The hot tub was really nice. The grounds are peaceful since there weren't many people around during our shoulder season stay. Summary: this is very much a lifestyle hotel for the adventure sport people. It's not for folks who's looking for a comfortable room to relax in.

Loved the Octopus movie/popcorn and S’mores kits. Hot tub was great! The couch was pretty uncomfortable and could use a coffee table. The website said it had a coffee pot but it was just a hot water heater.

They could have helped more or at least given me their share of the money. They could have put pressure on them to give me the refund. There was an actual hammock in our room, but its location seemed a little silly. Facilities are pretty tired, with almost everything in the room needing a refresh.

- Luciana (10/5): Great lodge - What a cute little place to stay with family. The room was simple but confy and we loved the hammock in the room. We slept really well. We used the complementary bikes to ride on the trails behind the lodge which takes you to the Deschutes River. They had free yoga every morning, free smores kits which my kid loved, and the pool. Only 10 minutes to Bend downtown area and several other cool trails. We visited Mt Bachelor and Todd Lake. Will come back for sure. Thank you!

I liked the amenities but the fires didn’t work. The room was dirty, like it hadn’t been cleaned. The AC unit was so loud, and the pillows were so dense and uncomfortable, we couldn’t sleep. There was so much street car noise at night.

- Maggie (8/5): Great Place to Stay in Bend - Great stay! We loved Bend! The hotel is located right off of a trail that was perfect for exploring! We used the complimentary bike rentals and spent a morning riding all over. We also took advantage of the hotel’s proximity to the cascade lakes and used the complimentary paddle board rentals to get out on one of the most beautiful lakes! They are situated in a private and safe area of Bend. Not super close to restaurants or stores, but that wasn’t our priority and the cafe covered us when we needed drinks! Overall—I would definitely stay here again. Perfect for families too!

Staff not very friendly - Loved the location, the overall cabin/camp feel, equipment available, smores for kids, and fireplaces around the site, loved all the hammocks The staff was not very nice about helping us rent bikes. She was very annoyed and rude to the kids. Our room wasn’t what we thought, we had to sleep 3 people to a bed, no sheets or blankets provided for the sleeper sofa. We were given one towel in our room for 4 people. 1 wash cloth. Not impressed with the room, and the number provided to text for anything we need, nobody replied there. Not helpful.

We enjoyed all the amneties that were offered which included all the nearby bike trails, the hot tub, the fire pits, and the pool. The lodge was quite welcoming and had a lot of entertainment and free coffee/hot chocolate. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back another time!
- Amilu (10/5): Home Away From Home 🌻 - Our second time at the LOGE, and it never disappoints!!! It’s in a beautiful area and the rooms are wonderful - comfy beds, too!!!! Ty was the only staff member that was also there last year, and she is very welcoming - always smiling and provides excellent customer service!!!! We will definitely be back next year!!!

- Suzanne (4/5): - This property was really cute and had lots of amenities. I enjoyed the hammocks and walking around the wooded area. However, I arrived at 4:30 and check in time was at four. I had to wait until 440 for my room to be available as housekeeping was still in it shortly after I arrive the power went out, which knocked out there well my entire visit I had no running water. I’ve reached out to the property multiple times and have not heard back from them in regards to any refund for not having water for my entire visit.
- Korrey Madison (8/5): - We loved how close this was to different hikes, parks, downtown, and the river! We used the tubes (they give you air compressor to blow it up). We used the bikes as well! The nights melt smores kit was a must. I do think that the room could have been cleaner. There was black globs behind the desk and the light in bathroom was very dusty (you could see in it because one light had a cover and one didn’t). Staff were nice but when presented with a problem ( sewer backup into tub and pool) she said we might have to find another place to stay. The next lady we asked for an update an hour later was much more knowledgeable. Told us the plumber was coming and someone came to clean toilet. I think if people are staying over 2 days then new towels provided would be nice. The pool was great for hot days! Chairs need to be cleaned every once in awhile! Anyways overall was a good and fun stay! Small improvements could be made :)
- laurie (10/5): We enjoyed our stay and will be back. - The pool was a nice temperature. Usually outdoor pools are too cold for me. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The decor created a nice outdoor ambiance. The room was spacious. The bed mattress felt more like a futon but was comfortable. They don’t provide coffee in the room. You have to go to the office to get coffee. Next time we’ll bring our own coffee maker.
- Catherine (10/5): - This is an outdoor adventure hotel.. it's set in beautiful surroundings next to a national park There are walking trails into the park, and they rent both electric bikes or regular bikes. In the winter they are very close to Mt Bachelor , so any winter sport is acceptable as well. The cute cabins are very clean and have hammocks so extra people can stay! All in all, i will definitely stay here again!

- Hollie (8/5): The Wonderful Outdoors - Not knowing what to expect, there were moments where our expectations were exceeded and moments things fell short. We loved the outdoorsy feel of the grounds as well as the little added touches of the hanging hammocks, Yeti cooler, and bike racks in the room. What was lacking was no access to an ice machine (when they offer you a cooler), extra towels for water sports on the river, and the FAFO charge even though I didn’t use any of their amenities or rental services. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, the clean room, and the ease of check-in.

- Tomaso (9/5): - It was a lovely relaxed charming place. We decided to stay two nights so we could enjoy all the benefits of the setting. Everyone there, staff included seemed to be enjoying themselves and were helpful in every way. We can’t think of a thing other than offering simple food on site, especially for breakfast, so that we did not have to leave!
- virginia (4/5): Will not stay there again - Room not ready at check-in time, unaware there was no maid service, not enough hand and bath soap, not enough toilet paper, locking mechanism for window was broken, loose light plugs ( our cords kept falling out), extension wires running to behind beds for lamps ( code violation?), poor lighting at entrance off the main road, no clear signage as to room numbers. And FAFO fee of $100 for what? We had to go to desk for towels, toilet paper, and soap (the containers were less than half full upon arrival)

- alilbitoheaven (2/5): Won't be back.... - We stayed here last year and while the rooms are very basic, Bend isn't an area where you go to stay in your room. The beds aren't very comfortable but we didn't have any close neighbors that weekend and we had a decent stay. Decent enough, with the price being right, to stay one more time.... This last visit was AWFUL! Started out with arriving early and our room not being ready. I get it, there's a check-in time for a reason. But that hour rolled by and our room STILL wasn't ready. At this point we were waiting in front of our room and watched as the cleaning staff cleaned every single room BEFORE getting to ours. Our room wasn't an end room, so that was.... ironic? Or spite? And then we found out the hard way that the walls are paper thin. You can hear EVERYTHING going on next door, and we were "blessed" with neighbors with a barking dog and a bit of a party (karaoke?) going on until 2 am. Even with our TV on, it was LOUD! Combine that with a very hard bed and we didn't get any sleep that night. Just not worth the out-of-town location or price after that....

The room fit my needs and I enjoyed being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather while having a nice frosty beverage from the LOGE Cafe.

- Constance (8/5): Fun and friendly! - Great camp with hip vibes and comfy beds. Outdoor gear at easy access made for a wonderful weekend. Bikes, river tubes, outdoor yoga, fireside seating. All great! Staff had their hands full with a repair on our last day and communicated in a timely fashion via text with the residents. Very professional. Maybe add a moveable vent to the a/c unit so it can get a nudge to the side so it isn’t blowing on you when you stand at the sink. That said, the a/c worked GREAT on a hot weekend!

- Tammy (8/5): Great spot for the weekend - Such a great stay! Very friendly staff, cool amenities. Love that there was no additional pet fee or charge for 5 hour bike rentals.

- Lesa (6/5): - Location was nice- out towards hiking etc. Not a great value. Bed was saggy. No coffee in room. Then we woke up at 6:00 and there was no water- sink and toilets dry. I understand things happen, but there was no one to address the problem. Phone, chat, everything answered by robot. For the money, pretty lacking.
- Christopher (4/5): - This location is a real gem, except: A.) The staff are unmotivated REI anarchist hipster, white kids, and it shows. Service is slow, lazy, and half-assed. B.) Cleanliness is questionable. I’m pretty sure my linens weren’t clean. Needless to say, staff knew I was there and ready to check in at 4:00 PM. They didn’t bother telling the cleaning crew, who was already behind. Instead of prioritizing my unit, they kept cleaning other rooms, even though I was standing there waiting at the contracted check-in time. They didn’t even enter my room until 4:20, then took another 20 minutes to clean it. That’s a 40-minute delay. They broke the agreement. I paid for access at 4. I didn’t get it. That’s breach of contract.
- russ (8/5): - Outside of downtown a bit. Good access to Mt. Bachelor and the Deschutes river. Beds are needing to be replaced along with rooms being refreshed. Things seem to be falling apart since the last time we were there, about 3 years ago. Parking lot is somewhat annoying. Lots of pot holes and divets everywhere. We enjoyed the pool, the outdoor night life. They have multiple gas fire pits, lots of cool outdoor string lights. They also have multiple treager smokers. Overall we had a great experience. Seems they need to update a bit. Staff was great!
- mcochran2020 (10/5): Hidden Gem! - I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. First off, the staff is amazing. So pleasant and friendly! The accommodations well exceeded our expectations. Especially for the price! Our family loved the fire pits, complimentary s’mores, pool/hot tub and the lovely bar/cafe area. The hiking trails behind the hotel was my personal favorite. We had so much we wanted to do in Bend but found ourselves wanting to stay at LOGE most of our stay in the area!!
- Lynda (1/5): Disappointing - Location next to biking/hiking trails is good We had no running water for the entire day and had to go to a gas station in the morning to use the restroom, brush our teeth and clean up. The hotel never followed through on the partial refund that was promised as a result. After we followed up, they reneged on the refund and instead offered to credit only the $25/night amenity fee. I didn't even know there was a $25/night amenity fee, which is ridiculous given the hotel grounds & its amenities (small pool, hot tub & grills) were really run-down and not used. The rooms are also very run-down with old appliances & furniture (A/C & refrigerator were so loud we had to unplug them to sleep at night) making this a less than 2-star hotel but with a 4-star price.
- Jennifer (10/5): Great dog friendly lodge with adventure waiting right outside your door. - Very helpful staff. The grounds are fun to walk around and you get to meet some great people. I love that it is dog friendly. The bed was great, felt like home. And a quick drive to the city, which was super nice. Only had time for one night stay.

- Tessie (8/5): - Great location. Close to mountain biking trails, mt bachelor, and town. Bike rentals on-site, gas fireplaces to sit around, and hot tub. My kid liked the hammock. Bathrooms are a bit dated and look dirty. Only porta-potties for bathrooms outside of your room.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel but pack sheets - Great room, hammocks very fun, Netflix a huge plus. Will bring sheets next time - for anyone with sensitive skin these were awful very rough my child cried for an hour about it and I noticed too. There were a lot of gnats (over 50) around the sinks which I guess housekeeping missed reporting and the upper bunk bed slats were visibly moving under my 140 lb kid, also had to track down pool towels from the front desk even though it wasn’t busy at the pool, otherwise really exceptional place for the price, will stay again but bring our own sheets.

- Kristi (10/5): - Incredible amenities!!! What a creative space that encourages people to get outside. Makes for a great home-base and has many activities on its campus that keeps you occupied on rainy days. Hammock in the room is a GOLDEN idea
