Catherine (3/5): If you have another choice my advice would be to take it. - After a long day of driving it was good to have somewhere to stop. I believe I was bitten by bedbugs at this property and when I contacted them I had no response and that is why I have resisted writing this review. I wanted to keep this issue between the motel and myself but this ongoing request to write a review prompted this.

Olivia (9/5): Comfortable stay - Nice, clean room. Great shower pressure and comfy bed. Room was nice and warm. Tea, coffee, toaster and fridge available. Milk and water was offered on check in. The lovely lady on reception welcomed my son as well. Walked us to our room. You can hear the traffic during the night, not too loud, to be expected on the main road.

The lady in reception was very helpful. Location was handy for an overnight stay. It was a pleasant older type motel, so nothing to complain about as we had read other reviews.

The manager is brilliant. Extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for her. A real asset to the business. Air conditioner not working in room. Small heater there, which was adequate but not ideal. Parking not suitable for large vehicles. If this had been stated in the property description I would have stayed somewhere more suitable.

Kushak (9/5): A sure keeper, would stay at Red Cedar again. - The receptionist Bec is great - very welcoming and friendly. Gave us a very good ear plugs when I mentioned I am a light sleeper and they helped. The room/bed/shower/fridge were clean and the aircon/WiFi working perfectly. I had booked into another motel first but after reading the reviews immediately cancelled and booked at Red Cedar and did not regret it once, and it only turned out to be $20-30 extra compared to the first one. 1) We were lucky with the parking as there was no one next to us so arriving/leaving was easy, but in peak times I'd have struggled with parking for sure. It is very tight. 2) Not an issue but be mindful to let the hot water run for a bit in the morning (6:30am for me) as it takes some time for the hot water to come up the pipes if you happen to be up early.
