Acueil trés variable selon la personne présente : de l'exécrable au trés sympathique. Petit déjeuner trés correct avec produits de qualité. Quartier déservi par les bus et heureusement car il n'y a rien autour. Restauration limitée au fast food.

La télécommande ne fonctionnait pas du lit, il fallait se lever et s’approcher pour changer les chaînes. Si internet avait fonctionné nous aurions mieux vu la tv depuis notre iPad ! Salle de bains: baignoire = parfait mais le savon était à hauteur d’homme alors ok pour pour prendre une douche mais pas de rideau de douche ! Pas de prise de courant à la tête de lit : pour quelqu’un qui doit brancher un appareil la nuit (apnées) = impossible Ascenseur : très juste pour 2 personnes avec chacun une valise cabine Habitués des hôtels 3 étoiles, et aussi de quelques Kyriad sommes vraiment très déçus

• F8829MTdonaldc (2/5): Manager was unfriendly, threatening and he personally spoilt our stay. He locked us out at 20.00hrs - Told book in was not until 6.00. On arrival manager was curt and.told us the reception was open to 9.00. We went out for a walk returning at 8.00 to find the reception closed and no access to our room. The 2 telephone numbers on the door, one claiming to be emergency diverted to voicemail as did the reception number. In desparation contacted Kyriad bookings who after pleading with them said someone would come and let us in. 20 minutes later the receptionist returned by car in an aggressive mood and shouted at us. Next day when we left he did not.speak or offer an apology. generally Kyriad are good but this experience has dented our trust

C'est très désagréable. Finalement la nuitée se résume à 17h00-10h00 le lendemain. C'est de + en + court.

• Q8092YUdebra (2/5): JUST AWFUL IN EVERY WAY! - I was booked here for 3 nights by my company as our usual Rodez hotel was full. I arrived after 9 hours travelling from the UK, in the pouring rain around 6.30pm.I thought it looked very dingey from the outside but arrived at reception and said "Bonjour"and showed the man my email booking.He was a late middle aged ,longish grey haired man and stunk of alcohol.He began to shrug his shoulders and tut at me flicking through his papers and said "no reservation."So I asked if he spoke English and that flipped his lid began shouting" no english" and looking at me like I was a criminal.I felt very uncomfortable and when he finally found my booking he shouted "pay tax now".I offered my card and he said "no card cash " of which I had none and he was rolling his eyes and muttering in French.He then gave me the card machine so I paid.He shoved a key at me and pointed to the breakfast room,which looked like a run down cafe.It didn't start until 7am I needed to leave at 5.30am for work & he just shrugged,no offer to make me anything earlier.I asked if there was food available now and he shouted no. I went to the room and it was awful,so tiny could hardly move ,the bed was virtually on the floor.The corridors were grey,dark &dismal. I decided there was no way I was staying there for 3 nights and rang my company to change it.Because it was a Bank Holiday it took an hr to get a taxi.I waited in reception with my luggage and he just ignored me. There was nowhere to eat nearby and I felt unsafe in the area.It was judt a horrible experience for a woman on her own. I have no idea why he was so horrible and rude ,maybe the drink but I would not recommend this dump to anyone.

Arrivé avec 2 motos neuves nous aurions dû les garer sur le trottoir et il n’y a pas de gardien de nuit il part à 22 heures donc nous sommes repartis chercher un hôtel avec parking et avons perdu 80€ en plus l’hotel N’est pas très accueillant et le réceptionniste pas mieux

• Les36140 (6/5): OK for an overnight stay - We stayed here for one night. The hotel is right opposite the SNCF railway station but it's about a mile walk uphill to get to the city centre. The room was quite spacious and very clean and the en-suite bathroom was also a good size with an over-bath shower but no shower screen or curtain, so you had to kneel in the bath in order to shower or risk getting the whole bathroom wet. The WiFi was good and fast. The manager was rather brusque, his main concern seemed to be telling us what time we must vacate our room the following morning! When we asked him whether there were any restaurants nearby, he could not say, only suggesting the city centre. (We subsequently found three restaurants within easy walking distance of he hotel via Trip Advisor). Breakfast was passable but expensive at 9€. There is no dedicated parking but we parked on the street outside the hotel for free.

• bruno (2/5): Inadmissible ! - Arrivé à 14h00 car sur mon mail de confirmation de réservation, c'était l'horaire indiqué comme début d'arrivée possible. Sur place surprise : réception fermée jusque 16h00. J'appelle le numéro sur la porte. Je tombe sur le patron qui m'explique d'un ton vraiment hautain, que ce n'est pas à lui d'assumer cette erreur, que tout est de la faute de HOTEL.COM et que de toutes façons ces derniers ne sont là que pour se faire des commissions sur son dos. Impossible de lui faire entendre que c'est moi le client, moi qui subit la situation, et que c'est à lui en tant que professionnel d'accorder ses violons avec le site. J'aurais préféré des excuses plutôt que cette attitude hautaine et je-m’en-foutiste, allant même jusqu'à me dire que je n'avais qu'à changer d’hôtel si je n'étais pas content. Eh bien non, Monsieur, j'ai déjà payé ma nuit, sinon cela aurait été avec plaisir. Par contre celui qui se paye de la mauvaise pub aujourd'hui, c'est vous. A bon entendeur !
• François (4/5): Hôtel excentré, accueil désagréable,chambre petite - La qualité de l'accueil n'est pas digne d'un 3 étoiles. On a vraiment l'impression de déranger en arrivant. Ensuite, on dirait que chaque item permettant l'attribution de la 3ème étoile a été réalisé, mais a minima. Ainsi, il y a bien un ascenseur, minuscule (mais affichant tellement visiblement la liste impressionnante des interdits que c'en est risible). La chambre est très petite aussi, avec un minimum d'espace entre le lit et les murs. La salle douche/lavabo/toilettes est un modèle de fonctionnalité et c'est un exploit d'arriver à caser ces 3 éléments dans un tel espace ! Pour utiliser les toilettes, il faut quand même se contorsionner un peu, mais bon, pour un gabarit moyen ça passe. Sinon, le tout est propre, il y a une bouilloire dans la chambre avec 2 sachets de thé / tisane / café (enfin quand on pense à les mettre à disposition), un placard, un lit confortable. L'absence de serviettes de douche a été une mauvaise surprise. Apparemment, pb inhabituel, mais le minimum aurait été d'informer les clients et de s'en excuser, voire de proposer dédommagement (petit déjeuner offert par ex), mais non ! Quant au parking, il est gratuit, c'est à dire dans la rue devant la gare ! Ma voiture y a été dégradée, rayée sur toute la longueur, juste devant l'hôtel. Sinon, l'hôtel est excentré en bas de la ville alors que les points d'intérêts de Rodez se trouvent à 1,5 km sur la colline. Et cerise sur le gâteau, la femme de ménage est entrée dans la chambre sans frapper à 9h ! Cool !

The location is not the best : litlle ornothong to ser snd do on ommediate proximity amd a bit far from the historic center, cathedral and good restaurants. Bit if you are in Rodez for only one nigjt, it's perfect.

• sonia (8/5): super séjour - J'ai passé une journée et une nuit avec mon petit garçon de 5ans. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les 2 gérants que nous avons pu croiser. Nous avons pris le bus (à 2 pas de l'hotel)pour aller promener en ville. Nous avons trouvé très pratique la proximité de la gare et de l' arrêt de bus. Les restaurants sont un peu éloignés de l' établissement (environ 15min à pied) mais il y a un petit snack très bien tout à côté de l' hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est parfait, beaucoup de choix sucré, salé... D'ailleurs le gérant a offert ce repas à mon fils. Petit séjour très sympa

• 900RosM (10/5): Overnight stay - I'm surprised this hotel has had such poor reviews. If you are travelling by train it is perfectly situated opposite the train station. My room was clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Sophie at reception was charming and polite. Although the buffet breakfast costs 9 euros there is plenty of choice with fresh fruit, cereals, bread, cake, cheese, ham, yogurt, tea and coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

• Matars_Z (4/5): Many reception/communication issues and smoke stench - This hotel is located directly opposite the train station and may be a good choice for an overnight stay in Rodez for some. I would never book it again as our stay was fraught with issues. First, be sure to arrive ON TIME at a pre-arranged time with the desk. Be aware that the proprietors are not on site most of the middle of the day (noon-6 pm), and are there only from 6-10 pm. Unfortunately this is a footnote in the listing for most agencies you book the hotel with – and thus you may miss this important detail. If you happen to arrive late, there is no one to check you in. If you arrive in the afternoon, there is no one to check you in. They also do not speak English. Thus, communicating codes for building entry for a post 10 pm check-in becomes an arduous task to be completed via cell phone – at an additional cost. Of course in these phone calls nothing is communicated about parking, internet codes or other features the hotel is supposed to offer. You can’t get the internet codes if the desk person is not present, so no wireless access with late arrival. It is still unclear to me where the official parking for the hotel is located. Thus, arrive early, or deal with the consequences (one of which is if they can’t reach you by cell phone, you cannot get into the hotel, period). Another irritating side effect of the language communication issues were we were asked if we would be having breakfast in the AM and at what time, which I asked if was included, was told yes (language miscommunication, clearly) and subsequently charged 9 eu/person. The breakfast is rather dismal and hardly worth this cost. Had I known I was being charged, I would have never eaten here. The worst part of our stay was not the problems with our late check in or the communication issues. The worst of it was that the ‘non-smoking’ room we were given reeked of smoke. Were it not 11 pm, I would have asked for another room, or immediately left to seek a different hotel. The level of smoke smell in this room made it difficult to breathe. On the positive side, the rooms, despite being very very small, even by European standards, are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the linens are also clean. Water pressure is good, with plenty of hot water, and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The cleanliness of the rooms is definitely a major positive. While an OK low cost alternative for the budget traveler who is absolutely sure of their time of arrival, speaks French, and doesn’t care about smoke smell- I cannot otherwise recommend this. I would not stay here again, if I had other choices.
• tohellor (10/5): Very nice hotel in quiet handy location - Ok so the old guy who runs the place or the girl don'tspeak english, so what. They seemed very freindly. Rooms were very modern compared to what else was on offer in Rodez. I wasnt staying in Rodez by choice, I dont know who honestly would as there is nothing to do at all so stayed in the room for most of the day catching up on sleep. Total black out blind, nice flat screen tv with cnn and bbc. Beds very comfortable with nice duvets, not horrible brown blankets you get in a lot of similar priced hotels. If you have to stay in rodez I would stay here, very cheap and very nice with free parking on the street.
• emy12 (4/5): unfriendly customer service - In terms of room/bathroom quality, this was excellent. In terms of welcome/friendliness, a lot of improvement to be made. The receptionist ordered a taxy for us for Rodez Airport (ryanair hasn't planned a bus line for it) at 8.10am. Taxi arrrived at 8 o'clock but as we were told that it would rather come slightly later, taxy driver was waiting for us, already in an excessive anger. This wasn't our fault but hotel's receptionist, who should have given valid information. Hotel owner blamed us for being late as well. Not very correct attitude. They should also speak english when one of the person doesn't understand french, so that everyone knows what is going on.
