• Sanni (8/5): - Ornos is a wonderful place for a family holiday, and this hotel is in a fantastic location right next to the beach with lots of great restaurants and near two supermarkets. This small hotel also has it’s own pool, big enough for swimming in. The wifi is truly awful which only worked sometimes and only outside the apartment, but aside from that I would very much recommend for a family holiday.
• flory (10/5): The place to stay - Villa Del Sol is the place to stay in Ornos ! One street from the beach, sun exposed all day long and so clean ! Cleaning is happening every day and is impeccable. Staff is really nice and honest. It was a real pleasure with not too much noise from the streets around. If you want peace and quiet but also accept kids noise playing in the pool, it the perfect place.

L'hôtel n'étant pas plein nous avons été surclassé d'office, passant d'une chambre junior à un triplex. S'il devait y avoir une amélioration, un four micro-ondes serait le bienvenu mais cest un détail. Hôtel au top, je le recommande !

Quiet and relaxing with plenty of dining options nearby. Excellent staff. Very friendly and attentive. The paid transfer to and from the port was very much appreciated. Short walk distance to the beach, restaurants, grocery and bakery.

In clean and excellent condition and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The beds are really comfortable as were the living space and kitchen. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The pool area is great and it is an easy walk to the bakery and supermarket. The beach is lovely - chairs everywhere for hire or just use the sandy end with a towel. The kids loved snorkelling in the crystal clear water. Loved it and highly recommend. Quiet area.

Very clean, staff goes way out of the way to help, needed sewing kit, scissors and more... Few minutes walk to excellent bakery and fish monger. Also a butcher, wouldn't try the sausages, and supermarket. Pool is nice at the villa, they provided shampoo, body soap, clothes washing machine. Loved this place. There are 4000 cats on the island, wish I'd bought for earlier. Locals liked it if you feed them. Also please go up to cafe benefit omg good , on the way to Ano Mera.

It is a great place, perfect location near the beach and 10 minutes by bus to Mykonos town. I rarely give full marks but this place gets it spot on.

Transport was a short taxi ride to main town and we loved the area it was situated. Its on one of the nicest beaches with resurants, atm, groceries only a short walk. The breakfast baskets were fantastic and free hotel transfers from ferry or airport made it so easy.
• Alan (10/5): The view alone earns a "wow" - This is a 3 unit property, so you will be assured very personal service. Our expectations were far exceeded with just about everything, especially the view. The apartment is spacious and gets a lot of light, despite it being built into the hillside with only windows at the front. Having our own patio, with breakfast delivered at the time of our choosing each morning was exceptional. We didn't have a car and had no trouble getting around. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and if you want to go into town, there is a bus every 30 minutes for €1.80. I would stay here again if I were in Santorini and recommend it to all, but keep in mind that you will need to climb quite a few steps.

• Sofia (10/5): New, nice, clean hotel, 20m away from the beach. - This is a new hotel in a less busy village of Mykonos, but very close to Mykonos town (10minutes on the bus) so handy for going out. It is protected from the wind which usually comes from north in Mykonos so this is also an advantage. The beach, 20m away is nice with restaurants and bars, the hotel has also a swimming pool in case the weather does not allow a dive in the sea. The staff are professional and friendly and always very helpful. It is very clean and well kept. I would definitely go back to stay there again and would very much recommended. When we were there it was predominantly families who stayed with small children but this was not a problem (we were a group of friends and we are not party animals).

Situé dans le charmant village de Ornos à seulement 3km du village de Mykonos, la villa del sol est un lieu idéal pour passer des vacances réussies. L'hôtel est neuf et super propre avec un personnel très accueillant et toujours près à vous rendre service. Une spéciale dédicace au professionnalisme de Christina qui a été au petit soin tout le long de notre séjour. Petros, le propriétaire est également bienveillant et charmant avec ses hôtes. Les villas disposent de tout l'équipement nécessaire : cafetière nespresso, four, plaque induction, frigo américain, machine à laver, le tout neuf et facile d'utilisation. Bref, tout était parfait !

Great amenities - duplex villa with pool right in front - very clean and well maintained 3. Beach literally 2 mins away with their own beach front restaurant and other amenities. 4. For us, overall location was very nice and ideal and we could move around the island with much ease. Will come back and recommend to all our friends.

We tried each of the restaurants on the beach front and I would recommend them all! Best of all though were the staff at Villa Del Sol, who were extremely friendly and willing to help. I particularly appreciated the welcome drink and being provided with iron and ironing board when I realised my clothes had been creased during the flight. Would definitely recommend!
• Susie (10/5): Great location and god sized rooms - I stayed in Villa Del Sol for five nights at the beginning of October. We had booked two apartments between the three of us, and on arrival they had upgraded one of the rooms for two of us to a suite, which was lovely! The apartments are very spacious and clean, and fresh linen and towels are provided every day. The location is great - it is less than a minute's walk to the beach which has cafes and restaurants along the back, and there is a 24 hour bakery a five minute walk away, along with a supermarket and a few smaller shops. Ornos is a five to ten minute drive into Mykonos town - which is where you want to spend your evenings as there isn't much happening in Ornos itself. This is the second time I've been to Mykonos and if I was going again I would defiinitely stay in Ornos, in the same apartments as they were so convenient and the staff were very friendly. My only critique would be that the pool area is fairly basic, but for the money you pay it is all very good value overall and I would recommend Villa Del Sol.
• Joanne (8/5): Good! - The villa is very nice and comfortable. The room we got is facing the swimming pool. The welcome drink was good and we got very adequate information about where to visit on the island. Also, the villas are just a one minute walk from a very very nice beach.
• RitaK (8/5): Good family getaway Mykonos - Fantastic apartment for our family of 4. Ornos beach which is just across the road is fantastic for kids and plenty of restaurants nearby also. Pool was a treat in the hot weather when didn't want crowds of the beach. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Would be good if there was an iron in the apartment-probably could have asked for one at reception but thought it would have been standard in the apartment. Overall would stay again.
• Family Vacation (10/5): Fantastic location and great hospitality - Villa del Sol became the highpoint of our family vacation in Greece. The service was very professional and welcoming. Junar and Ellini make you feel like you are family!! I was concerned about Villa del Sol not being "beachfront" but realistically we were closer to the beach than many beachfront resorts we have stayed at. And what a beach - beautiful with the bonus of free access to a beachfront restaurant's deck chairs and umbrellas. The villas are gorgeous and very well appointed. We will definitely go back to Villa del Sol.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great Mykonos family hotel - This hotel was wonderful in terms of design, space, comfort, and staff. It had great proximity to the beach! However, if you are trying to party in Mykonos do NOT stay in this side of the island! It is not an easy bus ride to paradise beach. But this beach is beautiful if you are trying to relax and enjoy some sun. Highly recommend this hotel!
• Kyliedbu (10/5): Fantastic for families...loved it - We loved everything. We felt very comfortable and at home at the Villas. The staff were fantastic and the room was awesome. The pool was big, clean and beautiful. ..even with pool toys and floaties. I loved how we didn't have to rent chairs at the beach...this is all part of the deal, and I loved how there were chairs straight outside your room for the pool so no fighting for a chair anywhere. It made it all very easy and relaxing. Great area with lots of restuarants and lovely beach. room was only lacking a couple of kitchen items...they need a decent knife and breadboard. The shower in one of our bathrooms was broken off the wall....apart from this it was perfect. I retreat we didn't stay longer and we hope to be back.
