Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It's a scam no hotel was found. It's already been closed for how many years het you still posted it that there are rooms available. I already paid for it. I want a refund. I will report your website
- John Hubert (2/5): Closed Hotel - I booked yesterday and We went yesterday to metro rooms budget hotel around 6:45 however the hotel was closed they did not inform me that the hotel was closed they charged me already on my account. I would like to initiate a refund. Thanks
- Jacob (8/5): - Good
- Andrea Patriz (10/5): Excellent - Nice place
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I just need a place to sleep it was good for that. The room was clean bit not much lighting. For cheap it was good
- Alfredo (6/5): Worse than before. - No bathroom tissue, no bath soap, no breakfast.
- Kat (6/5): Clean and convenient - We needed Accommodation near the bus depots because we were catching a 5am bus to Baguio. The hotel was ideally located. It’s not your typical hotel for western tourists but it served our purpose. Cheap, clean, aircon and close to buses. We found a cheap little street kitchen with delicious Filipino delicacies which we had no idea of but ate and enjoyed. Hotel staff are helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It’s not intolerable but if you’re really on a tight budget and don’t mind a bit of shabbiness in your room, it’s pretty roomy and can be cozy for the right traveler.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Get what you pay for - Toilet was not clean. Dark in appearance. Sheets and pillow cases dirty with dark stains.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff are nice and helpful. Close to restaurants
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Room was much shabbier than photos on website. Sheet on bed was torn. Shower wasn't spraying properly. Had to ask for toilet paper. Staff courteous and helpful.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I felt like the pictures from all websites were either edited or unreal compared to reality.
And the fact that you are walking through other residents areas!! uncool. The property is shared with actual local residents.
Unless you are getting this room for 800p or less, ill double check my options
- cutton (6/5): - fair
- Alejandro II (8/5): Good Hotel but needs to maintain their rooms - It was good, considering that the Place is near EDSA, it was very quiet and was able to sleep comfortably, only issue was the Comfort Room, the door lock was broken, the sink was broken and window was broken
- Verified traveler (2/5): Never again in this place! NOT RECOMMENDED - Scary place with rat, noisy surrounding, very very small room. You feel so unsafe in this place and the surrounding. NOT RECOMMENDED. I found a better place to stay (a condotel) for a lesser price but with so much better amenities, clean place, safe surrounding, quiet and big room.
- gold (6/5): - their staff are approachable and friendly. This hotel is best for people who are attending seminars who don't stay too long on hotels because their price is not too expensive
- HotelHopper (4/5): Not trustworthy hotel staff. - Rooms are quite decent but don't expect a well secured room since some of the walls are just made out of hardiflex only, you can hear conversations from the other room too.
Hotel staff is not attentive and did not remember I hand over the security deposit claim stub, he insisted that I did not gave the stub to him. I dared him to review the cctv but he did not tried. The deposit was returned but I won't trust this hotel ever again.
- Ellen (6/5): Affordable hotel - Everything is nice except that they don't have hot shower. :( It was really disappointing for us since our family is used to hot showers when taking a bath.
- Mary (6/5): - The location was good for what we needed to do. The room was affordable.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Presence of cockroach, broken toilet doorknob, broken aircon vent; i don't want to check in again; it is difficult to find the hotel for someone from the Visayas like me.
- Kelly (6/5): What stay?? - I have no experience. This hotel was booked for me to acomodate an over night stay in Manila. Found out It was 3 cites away from my airport and made no sense to go there. Had to book another on my own.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Ok, if you're on a tight budget - Noisy AC. Ongoing construction work tv cable was no good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - it was good value for money. Room was ok and bef comfy. Some improvements would with regards room facilities such toileteries and kettle. The stafff were extremely helpful just feel that some of my requests should have been commin sense particularly asking my room to be cleaned. But anyway i think for the money it was good value
- Asia traveller (4/5): - A budget hotel with very basic amenities. The wifi seems to never work properly and the surrounding environment is a bit scary for a foreigner. Far away from the Airport and the traffic jam in manilla makes the ride to your hotel feels like a never ending journey.
- Jean (6/5): Hotel room is big with table and kitchen inside. - It was very disappointing to have no Towels, soap or any other bathroom supplies . not to mention that there is no hot water at all in the showers. Otherwise everything is ok just advise to the hotel to upgrade there hot water and toiletries.
- rick (2/5): Not a good place - Dont be fooled by the photos. The hotel didn't photos didn't show how it looks like outside their hotel. It was a bad neighborhood. Hotel was never used and still waiting for my refund? Where is the manager? Bad service.
- Keiko (4/5): I don't recommend this hotel - This hotel is located center of Timog Avenue where you can find lots of restaurants, live houses, food shopping center so on. But.....the room has no hot water, very old and dirty. You can find better hotel than this.
- Glenn Andre (6/5): Good, for a low prize hotel. crowded area around. - Stayed here for 1 night, due to appointment the next day at Common-Whealth.
Cheap hotel,, so no high expectation.
Area around hotel, crowded, and feels littel unsecure at evening/night.
Hotels looks bad from the outside... only 2-3 thight parking spots behind the fence!
I have a lowered car wich could not make it up the road behind the fence.
BUT the staff was help-full and found a secure place for my car near by.
I appreciate that service.
The room we rent on top (5th floor), was nice, looks like a small apartment,
nice shape, arcitecture.
Comfortable bed, okay chairs,tv,couach. a/c ok.
No soap, no toilet paper.
(one staff went out and bought us soap and shampoo, good service!)
Compare to hotel in its segment, like Sogo or other budget hotel,
this is a littel different and better, more personal.
For low prize hotel, this is good.
Glenn Angeles,
- Wallace (2/5): - Small and cost more then it should. I do not have anything else to say here. I will say will not be doing anymore of these reviews this is a waste of my time.
- Mohammed (2/5): living with cockroaches........ - room was very unclean ,lots of big size cockroaches... that was my worse experience..
- Janeth (2/5): Good for short stay - Difficult to find the hotel location, no toiletries provided, very tight space room,
- Erik (6/5): Trip to Manila - The place could be a bit hard to find if you haven't done your homework. The Taxi driver didn't know but I had sussed it out on Google maps so I knew where to look.
The room was very small but clean and the staff was friendly but the place need a makeover and the aircon was so noisy we had to turn it off to sleep.
Would I recomend it to others? Maybe not, spend a bit more and look for something else.
Would I go there again? Not likely mostley because off the room size and the noisy aircon.
- Roy (8/5): - It was a good stay in this hotel because of how friendly the stuff are.
- Ronald (4/5): Very disappointed - Hotel location is in one of the dangerous side of quezon city. Very dirty, and parking is so terrible and not safe
- bats (6/5): Affordable with pretty good staff - The facility is comfortable. Near to all places for everyday needs. Conveniently located very close to sights and sounds offered by urban communities. Stores of all kinds of commodities are only a stroll away and lots of friendly people around. Your personal safety is secured by the presence of a bundle of local barangay officials. Nice to purchase hot pan de sal every morning without fear of getting mugged.
- ncv (2/5): dirty and disgusting - hotel like this shouldn't be recommended by booking sites. i got this hotel because of hotels.com but its a mistake a big big mistake. the hotel is worst than ever, dirty, cockroaches running around, dirty floor, trash, disgusting c.r. no towel, no tissue, bad smell. i wont be coming back to this hotel nor recommend to anyone. management doesnt even know what cleanliness in the most basic way.
- ncv (2/5): dirty and disgusting - Hotels.com shouldn't recommend this hotel. The only good thing about the hotel is their accommodating and friendly staff. The rest is worst than ever: cockroaches are roaming around, back door is full of trash, uncleaned cabinets where there are junk used towels, cigarette smell and disgusting of all uncleaned days old urine in the toilet. The hotel is decades old and for them to keep it clean is not their language. Not recommended and not even worth a try.
- Raj (2/5): - It was very dirty...
- Steffi (2/5): It was very disappointing. - It was cheap yes but teas really a big regret of booking my accommodation at this place. Wifi was good but the bed was hard, t&b was filthy, towels were not enough, no face washer nor hand towel. No toiletries, and no blankets just fitted sheet. Wish they could spend more time in sanitation! Photos are far different from reality!
- Leigh (4/5): Didnt make up room - They forgot to make up my room. They also phone you just prior to checkout to ask if you will be checking out, not thinking that you may still be sleeping; ie. checked in at 4am. Although the price is good and very convenient location. No hot water, but for the price you cant expect too much. Staff are pleasant but the only person who understands English is the manager and she is not there after hours.
- Michel (6/5): cheap! - this hotel is too cheap. but service is good and staff is very kind.
location is not good. but good humberger shop such as jolibee and Engels bager locate near this hotel.
if you want to go papayas, this hotel is good for you.
- Verified traveler (4/5): noisy - its could have been much better,if they clean 3-4 times a week. they clean only my room,1 time for thiese 30days i stay there. and so was there no hot water to take shower in,and a tv,there have so few channels, there show the same and the same day after day
- Unhappy Boy (2/5): Not a comfortable stay - Not at all happy. No hot water, not clean mattresses, noisy place. Sorry won't return.
- joe (6/5): local motel - This motel is for locals , or a place to sleep only' nice people but no hot water at all very cheap and clean nothing to do here or stores
- Mike (8/5): Comfy beds - The location was a bit confusing for me to find whenever I went out. The service was alright and i had a quiet, comfortable, satisfied stay for 4 nights.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Bathroom was bigger - The bathroom was almost as big as the room istayed in. They advertise daily housekeeping but i never received any during my 3 day stay. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, they are the best thing I can say about this hotel.
- Jan (8/5): Good place for a couple days - The pictures on the Expedia site led me to expect far more than the hotel delivered. The hotel is decent and clean and the staff were delightful. The WiFi worked very well. However, there was no flat surface where I could put the stuff I took out of my luggage, so that was a bit of a hassle. There was no hot water. There is nothing interesting in the neighbourhood. Worse yet, the area is known for petty theft - although I didn't have anything stolen. I was looking for a hotel near the International airport and was very surprised to discover that this hotel is far away. The cost of the taxi to and from the hotel offset the savings I realized from the hotel's modest cost. In retrospect, I should have chosen a better hotel near the airport.
- Traveler (4/5): Cheap and clean but very small - Had a room a size of dorm room. No hot water in shower. No toilet paper but they do provide one bath towel. Good for one night. If you going stay this hotel, make sure you drew a map of this hotel location because my taxi driver had to stop 8 times to ask where this hotel location. I even wrote down the hotel address and still cannot find.
- Verified traveler (6/5): overall nice - problem of water at the ground level when its rainny
- Verified traveler (2/5): No way! - Horrible place, Pictures on the Expedia web site are not what they are when you show up, Not a place to stay 4 8 days.
