- philippe (1/5): - La localisation Si vous aimez les hôtels qui accueillent tous les jours de nombreux cars de clients, si vous aimez la pollution de ces cars qui attendent les clients moteurs allumés , si vous aimez les hôtels qui entreposent des dizaines de bagages dans le lobby, si vous aimez attendre très longtemps les ascenseurs , si vous aimez payer plus de 150 euros une chambre microscopique alors allez dans cet Ibis, sinon fuyez il y a visiblement plein d' autres hôtels tout autour.

- Mark (7/5): Good for a short stay. - It is in an excellent location for temples and food markets. The staff were very helpful and the room was very clean. Breakfast was acceptable but not great. The lifts were terrible. Not only were there very long wait times, but when you got in they would often take you to the wrong level. Many guests were getting very frustrated with this experience.

- peterg676 (10/5): Not a luxe experience but a solid valu - The Ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong was one of three hotels that we stayed at during our recent trip to Korea. A four-star hotel in Myeongdong was our favorite, but the much-cheaper Ibis was our second favorite. Okay, the room was small (19 M2) but the space was thoughtfully arranged. The luggage rack was big enough for our two large suitcases, and there was ample floor space for our smaller bags. The “closet” was open, but there were plenty of hangers. The bathroom was compact—and the walls/floor were laminate rather than tile—but there was enough counter space for two. There is an in-room safe, refrigerator (two new bottles of water daily), and a fitness center. All good! The hotel is a few blocks away from the Jongno-3 subway stop and a bit further from the Anguk stop (also the pickup point for the Airport Limousine, 17,000 KWR). We found the Insadong neighborhood to be more enticing than Myeongdong, with dozens of intriguing restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel. The breakfast buffet was solid if not spectacular: mostly western items without the Korean specialties that we enjoyed at other stays. Biggest drawback? The hotel seems to host major tour groups. You’ll see the buses, and the hoards of people in the lobby, chatting loudly at breakfast. Worse: during our two-night stay, there seemed to be groups of largely unsupervised teenagers/young adults in the hotel. I confronted a group of young women who were noisily chatting in the hall outside of our room; they were apologetic and dispersed. But I later asked the hotel to deal with a group of noisy young men in the hall. - Nadine (9/5): - Die Lage war super, Zimmer sauber und sehr ruhig trotz belebter Umgebung. Direkt gegenüber ist ein 7eleven und die Ubahn Station ist nicht weit enfternt. Das Hot Tube Bad war angenehm nach einem langen Tag mit viel Fußmarsch und das Personal grüßte immer freundlich. Leider war das Frühstück nichts für mich, wenig für Vegetarier und das ganze Buffet wirkte etwas lieblos. Wir wollten auch mal zu den Beginnzeiten des Frühstücksbuffet schnell eine Kleinigkeit essen weil wir dann zu einer Tour weiter mussten aber die Schlange zum Frühstücksraum war so lang das wir es aufgaben.

Thumbs up to Lucy from FrontDesk - I would like to commend Lucy from the Front desk, she was very pleasant, good English skills and very accommodating. After a long travel, it was soooo amazing that they allowed us to check in early since our room is ready. This is very much appreciated considering we are travelling with kids. The room is also spacious, enough for family of four. This is why i always choose Ibis in any country we visit, superb service and great rooms.

We knew we arrival so early and we didn't ask for early check in we would required for leave our luggages but by warm welcome by Ms. Lucy ( trainee) she did the best hospitality and great training from a guy I guess name Devo ( sorry if I spelled wrong name ) date on 08 05 26 at 13:00 PM. He also help Ms. Lucy to swop a room. He really great trainer Thank you for your both warm welcome ☺️

In de buurt ook een Paris Baguette voor het ontbijt. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Kamer is ruim. Temperatuur in de kamer, het was echt warm. Wij hebben het raam open gezet voor frisse/koude lucht.

While near a hanok village with plenty of food choices and a 7/11 convenience store, the hotel is rather far from subway and other mass transit. Considering amazing availability of taxi in Seoul, it's a minor flaw. Facility: 5/5. Gym, rooftop deck, coin laundry, and a free HOT TUB! Things don't get any better in a three star hotel. Amenities: 5/5. It's small but well designed and generally sufficient for all practical purposes, with a decent bed. The bathroom is meticulously maintained and water pressure is excellent. Staff: 6/5. The personnel are impeccably polite, professional, and literally jumping out of their skin to help you in every way possible. Food: n/a (never tried). Bottomline: If you want a moderately priced Insadong hotel, you probably can't find a better deal.

There's an alley just walk away with lots of cafes, tarot reading shops and K-BBQ area. Close to the 'gold street' too. Room: Our room was cleaned everyday. Toilet: Bidet & warm seats. This is a very basic hotel but the price is quite high. I paid roughly 375,000 KRW per night for a super small room. The toilet was small too could barely fit myself and my skincare in there. It's mainly the space that i did not like.

- Pamela (7/5): Wedding visit to Seoul - The staff were very helpful & friendly. The beds & pillows were so fluffy & comfortable. Good location. The air conditioning control unit in the room wasn't working, when we queried this at reception we were told that it is on a central system despite separate control panel in our room. This was very dissapointing as it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel we were given a fan & told to open the window which didn't really help much as it was very warm at night which disturbed our sleep. Also the in-house laundry service was expensive - £14 to have 3 tee shirts + 1pr sleep shorts washed & dried ( not even ironed). There was a self service coin operated laundry available but as we were in Seoul for my sons wedding we really didn't have time to do our own laundry.

- Steven A (10/5): Excellent property in Seoul - Superb location in Ikseon-dong. Having the Hanok village on the doorstep was amazing, it was great for ambience and offerings of food and shops, and we visited multiple cafes and restaurants there for our meals during the stay. The room was modern and clean. Comfortable beds and a good bathroom. Front desk staff were excellent when checking in and when storing bags on our check out day. Only around a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station which has great links to some major nearby attractions including two of the major palaces. Only issue we had was that the temperature controls in the room were heating only so the room was a little warmer than was comfortable without opening the window. It may be that air con is available in the summer but perhaps it is disabled in winter and spring, but it was a warm few days in March when we stayed so it would have been nice to be able to collect the room more.

- Jeniffer (8/5): Comfortable and convenient. - It’s super clean coz it’s newly renovated. Staffs are nice, they’ll help you with whatever. It’s close to Ikseon Dong Hanok Village, the entrance, it’s literally it front of the hotel,where cafes and BBQ restaurants are if you want some local vibe, this is the right place to be. They have a big washer and dryer, 5,000 won to use, but with dryer you’ll end up using it twice if you want your clothes to totally dry. There’s a 7/11 in front of the hotel, 5 min ride to myeongdong and gyeongbokgung palace. Just pass Ikseon Dong village and there’s your 1st subway ride that connects almost everything. Stayed for 5 nights, had to change hotel coz they’re fully booked. If only I can book it for 9 nights I will. Family of 4 ( 3 adults 1 child 8 yr old ) room is 2 full beds and 1 twin. We were comfortable. No photos to share co my eyes were too busy appreciating the place. The dryer 🤣
