Guest Reviews
- Amber (2/5): Took an hour and a half to check in as nobody was available at front desk. Used the phone and dialed one multiple times - Nothing to like, breakfast was minimal. Full garbage can placed on counter next to food. Coffee cold. Room was surprisingly clean
- Mona & Rick (1/5): Would absolutely NOT recommend! - The TV was nice. The snow was not cleared off the steps to the entrance and the handrails were loose and wobbly.
We couldn't check in, even though we had a confirmation number and it was after 4:00, because they were working on changing the locks.
There was a Super 8 beside the Econo Lodge both under the same management. The clerk was running back and forth trying to check people in at both properties.
We seemed to be the only ones with a room there. Most rooms had the doors wide open. There was no toiletries in the bathroom and the TP and small box of tissues were thin and very papery. In the morning, there was no coffee or breakfast set up even though it was suppose to be available. We never encounter an employee after our initial check in.
- Giles (10/5): - The staff was excellent. Check in was quick and easy. We left some items in our room and the staff contacted us and made arrangements for it to be returned.
- Matthew (6/5): Very poor stay… never coming back! - Not much positive to say There was an immediate funky odor in the hall and the room. The bed was saggy and uncomfortable, and the pillows were weird. There basically wasn’t much breakfast, except the pancake maker. Out of yogurt and bagels. Very unsatisfied!!
- Angela (7/5): - Location Drunk people trying to get in my room
- Chase (7/5): -
- Kolton (1/5): -
- Anthony (8/5): Great staff. clean, comfortable room at a good price. - Staff was great & even allowed us to check in early so we could get prepared for our event after a long drive. Location was good and we appreciated the ground floor room. Clean, comfortable and quiet, so we got a good night sleep. Price was very reasonable compared to other local motels.
- Deborah (3/5): I will not stay at any econo lodges if this is how they are - I didn’t, when we got there the parking was scrambled. Really no parking The parking, and when I checked in there was no staff, but a note saying to go across the parking lot and check in at the Super 8 I think that was the hotel so not appeasing. Get in the room and there was a garbage bag with garbage in it behind the door. Also the carpet was wet around the air conditioner.
- Sharon (8/5): - We had 2 rooms for 1 night in Oct 2025. Bed was comfortable, everything in the room worked. Hotel was small, I was annoyed with the note posted on back door not allowing me to bring luggage in through that way since our rooms were all the way at the end of hallway, would have been much easier to use back door. Felt safe and secure and no bugs. Would stay again.
- Robert (6/5): Econo lodge, Super 8...What's the difference? - The location was alright. The room was clean. There was some confusion about our reservation. There were two motels, a Super 8 and an Econo lodge, both on the same property with one desk clerk for both. After some confusion by the desk clerk as to which motel we were staying in, we were given the key to the Econo lodge. There were really no services, like ice, available, but the room was comfortable. For breakfast, if we wanted some items, we had to go to the Super 8. For a more limited menu of cereal, we could just stay at the Econo lodge. Not a big deal, just strange. Giving us a receipt was too much of a challenge for them to handle.
- Anne (6/5): - This is a ok place. If you need a quick rest. If allergies I don’t recommend. Room smelled faintly of old smoke and weed. Door to bathroom had a hole. Style was dated. Carpets could use a clean but otherwise pretty clean for age. Wasn’t like some you wondered if they cleaned between guests. It was clean. Came with a bigger mini fridge with no freezer and microwave.
- Patrick (6/5): Wife went and got new sheets and Lysol. - Breakfast was ok I never complain but when you pull back the bedspread and can immediately tell the sheets haven't been changed that's BS and when the toilet hasn't been flushed I was disappointed. Couldn't enjoy anything else because we had to clean the room ourselves.
- Joely (6/5): - While it was not an inconvenience to walk across to the hotel across the parking lot to check in, it was an inconvenience to realize we had no toilet paper or Kleenex’s in our room. We called the front desk to have them bring some and when she got there, she had to ask again what it was that we needed so she could go get them because she forgot. Just a little not with it.
- Karen (10/5): - Room was clean. Convenient location along interstate. Dining nearby.
- Sarah (6/5): - Quiet and calm hotel; bit dated but very clean rooms. Understaffed property, so hotel next door manages both places. They handle it well, but wasnt notified ahead of time and if another guest hadnt told me whqt to do - would've been very confused after long day of travel. Nice & helpful people working there. Rooms easy to access and shops/eateries just across the busy road.
- Gary (8/5): -
- Lynne (2/5): No workers .. ice machine didn’t work .. had to get our keys from the Super 8 .. next door - Close to the interstate and restaurants Floor was sticky.. smelled like smoke … curtains had holes in them … needs a face lift (flooring and new paint )
- Michael (6/5): A good place to stay the night, older hotel - A older hotel, we just needed a cheap place to stay for the night, and the breakfast was pretty good
- Crystal (7/5): -
- Smith (6/5): -
- James P. (10/5): - Old but clean , friendly and quiet.
- jeff (8/5): - Breakfast was minimal!
Saturday there was no coffee and no lids for coffee cups.
Got toast and peanut butter/jelly
Yogurt
- Pamela (4/5): - No ice machine. Have to check in and check out at super 8 across from property. Whats the reasoning???????????????????
- Ashley (1/5): Not pleasant! - Nothing Got to our room dirty towel and wash cloth still hanging up in the bathroom. The air conditioner did not work so we didn’t get much sleep. No breakfast. Had to check in from the other hotel.
- Michelle (8/5): great location, at budget property with great service - no proper ground transportation in the towm. Uber and Lyft limite!!
- Richard J. (8/5): - The room was fine. Met our needs. Breakfast minimal, but sufficed. The problem was we couldn’t check in till going on 6pm. I confess to being sympathetic, not critical. Sadly, you were shiort-staffed. I put myself in your shoes, being a retired janitor, and can say that I hope things get better for you eventually.
- Ronald F (7/5): -
- Cheryl (6/5): OK for a one night stay - the Room was ok for a one night stay Had to go to Super 8 across the parking lot for service and breakfast, because there was nothing available at Econ
- Tina (6/5): - There was clothes and a shower bag left from the previous guest before me. So cleaning workers aren’t really checking/ cleaning properly.
- Brian (6/5): - You have to check in across the parking lot at the Motel 8, the ice machine in the Econo Lodge doesn’t work and there isn’t a baggage cart available. Check in was disorganized and extremely slow even though there were two people working. The room was ok for the money but honestly next time I’ll spend more money somewhere else.
- Todd (4/5): Poor - Nothing Broken glass and dirt all over the parking lot; clerk made me wait to check in while she worked on something else; u have to walk from EL to Super 8 and check in there; breakfast was nothing - no eggs
- Jesse (8/5): - Had to check in at the property next door.
- Dylan (6/5): -
- kayleigh (10/5): - Staff friendly, room clean, quiet area
- Danette (9/5): Superb - Comfy bed To small of pillows
- John (6/5): - Check in time was 3:00 pm. They wouldn't let us check in till 4:00. Said they weren't done cleaning rooms. They didn't have any bar soap. Had to run to Walmart and get some. Ice machine was out of order.
- William (2/5): Stay away unless you like it dirty. - They said they overbooked and switched me to the Super 8 which of course they claimed was better. I felt mistreated. The tv didn’t work and the lobby was infested with creeps including the staff.
- Rodney (4/5): Disappointing -
- Raymond (8/5): Very good -
- Maggie (6/5): - Felt a little dirty. It was safe just rundown
- John (7/5): Good -
- Robert (8/5): Very good - Clean and easy access. Had to walk between two buildings for check in and breakfast.
- Craig (6/5): - Great staff!
Unfortunately the place smells of garbage and cigarette smoke, and the carpet is long overdue for replacement.
- Leanne (6/5): - This property was actually affiliated with the Super 8 across from Econo Lodge. You had to check in at Super 8 and no staff (or ice available) at Econo. The first room we got was already occupied; the second room we had difficulty getting in. Though the staff person was a trainee, it still took way too long to check in.
- Sullivan (7/5): Overnight needs met, but eat elsewhere. - Breakfasr lacking..
Locatjon very good. Too limited on food choices.
- Susan (10/5): - Very comfortable
- Scott (6/5): - Had to check in and out at a different hotel across the parking lot. There were people hanging out in the parking lot and hotel front area all night that you had to walk past. Curtains in room were full of holes. Breakfast was as minimal as could possibly be so didn't bother. The room and shower were fine otherwise and the lady at the front desk was very friendly.
- Linda (4/5): - Inconvenience check-in have to walked to Super 8 to check- in. Hallway smell bad, no breakfast ( few yogurts, juice in small fridge, parking lot dirty, and full of broken glass, stain in room wall, dirty old curtains.
- Gerald (10/5): - All was fine
- Stacia (2/5): - Very hot, no power and no lights from storm... Not really their fault.. Sign in at next door hotel... gave us a half loaf of bread for breakfast.. had nothing set out to eat.. Even without power, you have guests, you feed them... left hungry, tired, stinky.
- Victor (6/5): Pleasant - Had to go to the Super 8 next door to register and check out. No staff at the Econolodge.
- Lisa (4/5): Poor - Booked at Econo lodge, had to go across parking lot to super 8 to chk in. Ice machine did not work...you can walk over here and use the super 8 one. WTH
- Donald (10/5): over all a good time - never got to try it storm n\knocked power out storm
- Charles (4/5): Disappointing - It was convenient The bathroom was gross,! The lighting was different
- Starman (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -
- Olivier (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (2/5): - Never stay here! Have to check in at the hotel next door. There is NO ice. You have to go next door to get it! The internet doesn’t work. Can’t wait to see how bad breakfast is. Traveled too far today for this. Will never stay here again
- Anita (8/5): - I could tell that they were trying to make upgrades to the rooms which was nice. That said, they really need to replace the mattresses. My back was killing me when I got up this morning. Also, the handrail on the ramp, for people who needed it, was very loose and kind of dangerous. They should be able to fix it pretty quickly.
- Ann (7/5): Good -
- Garrett (7/5): Good -
- Rachel (4/5): - Room wasn’t cleaned when got there. Had to move rooms to a smaller bed. My spouse is 6” 6 and I’m 5”10. Made for a tight sleep.
- grace (10/5): - The room was very clean and comfortable.
The staff was very friendly.
- Jeremy (2/5): - Worst staff possible sharing staff between super 8 and econolodge..... first walk in was staffs dog peeing at the start of the hallway. I stayed for 6 days and not once had a cleaning service done and when asked at first was every 3 then every 5 then every 6. Place had mold, carpet and room seemed to never been cleaned. Front staff girls one slept in lobby whole time and other one was just so rude and couldnt be bothered..... i am a blue collar worker so all you brothers stay away!!!!
- Jeffrey (8/5): - The air conditioner was noisey and ineffective. Cleanliness was very good.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Iron and ironing board, please... - Dated property. Had to check in at the Super 8 across the street. Needed a iron and ironing board- neither hotel had one. Room was clean, property was safe and convenient off I-94 near restaurants and a Wal-Mart.
- doug (6/5): Not the best - 1st room they gave us the beds were unmade a trash in baskets. Walked across the parking lot to tell them and got another room. The key only worked every 3----4 trys. Breakfast was very disappointing.
.
- Scott (7/5): Good -
- Rodney (8/5): - It was o.k.
- Angela (10/5): - Good room for the price
- Coshavon (7/5): Our trip did what it needed to do and everything went great. - Very peaceful. Staff was nice. Room was clean. Only one entrance to building and that’s through the office
- Coshavon (7/5): Good -
- Bruce (6/5): - why can’t all motels put a comfortable chair in the room , the ones you people use are like sitting on a park bench , no comfort whatsoever
- Anna (10/5): Loved the electric tea kettle! - Lovely stay! Full breakfast each morning. Room was clean, bed was saggy though. The lady that took care of the econo lodge was very lovely. I loved the hot water kettle in the lobby! It was PERFECT for my tea!
- Wendy (10/5): - The motel is a bit dated but very clean and comfortable!!
- Zi-jun (8/5): Very good -
- Kurt (8/5): - Clean sheets. Clean room, although dated and beat up over the years. Just fine for a one night stay.
- Franck (6/5): - Na
- Verified traveler (10/5): Slept well - We had a issue on checkin that was easily solved on our checkout. The manager was very easy to work with and went over and above in handling my concern. She even provided honey for my toast.
Room was very clean and no smell of smokers.

- clint (6/5): Only thing I can say Clean rooms - curtains torn, entrance doors not locked and no front desk staff/ security issue. Breakfast 2 cold cereals, instant oatmeal, small juice cups.
- Paul (8/5): - Very comfortable. Plenty of hangers.
- Robert (7/5): Pretty good..happy when clean and bed is comfortable but prefer proper breakfast - Clean, good beds, price reasonable Breakfast mediocre.. continental
