• jill (3/5): Dirty - Positives-bed firm and comfy. Good TV reception and channel selection, good wifi. I liked that the windows opened but the were no screens so they couldn't stay open overnight. Hot water. Plenty of parking and clean campus. Large seasonal pool. Staff is nice . If you go to the rt11 diner, show them the room key and you get 10%off. They are in the process of renovating. No bugs. Negatives-dirty, smudges in places. Old linens and with cigarette burns, thread bare sheet and pillow cases. Odor, but it is a smoking room. Old furnishings. Poor water pressure. There's literally a hole in the bathroom ceiling. Walls are paper thin. It had decent reviews so I dont understand them? Should have cost less.

• Dawn (9/5): - Our room was updated and clean; not large but comfortable. The staff person who served us was cheerful and. helpful. When I asked for extra help she went out of her way to assist. I wish the rooms each had a hair dryer as standard equipment (they didn't), but I was able to get one from the office without any trouble.
• Ralph (8/5): We needed an overnight stay on long trip. The price was reasonable. Our needs were well met. - Close to interstate but a few blocks away from it. Old facility but all renewed inside. No breakfast but they were not charging much and we had our own food. There was diner next door and Food Lion nearby in any case. Pleasant family owners. It was a comfortable short stay on our trip. No objections.

• Andrew (2/5): Very short - The room was in desperate need of a deep cleaning and remodel. The shower was gross, the bench was broken and the air conditioner smelled like mold. They tried to charge us a cleaning fee. We arrived late at night, slept and was out before 10 am. We didn't even bring our things inside. Other occupants were a little scary. It definitely wasn't even worth what we paid for a nights sleep!

• L7971DEbarbaraj (8/5): Comfortable stay - Our stop was a late checkin so we just needed a nice place to catch some zzzs. The room was clean and beds comfortable. There is a restaurant right there since there is no breakfast, but since we wanted to leave early it was not open to get a breakfast ( which you could get a discount since you stayed overnight).
• HeathWagner (8/5): Very reasonably priced, no frills hotel option…. - The hotel is an older hotel property that is very clean for its age, and the price for a nice was very reasonable. A microwave and fridge were in the room and we slept comfortably. Made for a great overnight. We would stay here again in the future.

• Amanda (4/5): Not a great experience - Our stay was not the best. The hotel was very, very run down. The hotel staff was one lady and she treated us like we were doing something bad because we had booked through a third party. I wouldn't recommend staying here to anyone.

Shower wall had mold, drain was rusty, heavy dust on the light switch, broken dresser, no window curtain, completely rusted empty curtain rod on the bathroom window, loose showerhead and faucet, wall outlet coming off. Checked in and clerk didn't seem to trust there were just the 2 of us checking in after 10pm. We are in our 70s. Couldn't wait to get out. Expedia should not offer this lodging again. Leaves a bad impression. Will NEVER use another Econolodge.

• amynkaylee (6/5): Surprised by the lack of gentlemanly manners - It was your basic low budget motel. It served it purposes. Sadly though, I was surprised by the lack of manners that the man had. Upon my arrival on Sunday, 8/24 around 8:30ish pm, I pulled up to the motel and got out of my car and proceeded to the door. A man came walking up from behind me, he had been sitting at a picnic table, and opened the door and walked through and actually dropped the door, he did NOT hold it open for me. I was shocked, and had I not been so tired, I would have left and gone somewhere else. It surely must be a cultural thing NOT holding a door open for a lady. He proceeded to check me and as soon as he finished checking me he ran right back out that door and back to the picnic table. Just rude!

• Edward (10/5): One of the BEST Affordable Motels we've used - If you are looking for an affordable, no frills stay, this is your place. It isn't quite perfect because the new owners are revitalizing a motel that, a few years ago, would have been unthinkable to stay in. But these new owners have worked extremely hard to provide an affordable service without sacrificing comfort. When we walked into our room that first day I actually blurted out "This smells so nice!" and one of the nearby staff members smiled and thanked me. I was working remotely, and had a nice space desk and chair. The bathroom was clean and the water was hot with appropriate pressure, and we had plenty of space to store/hang clothing if we chose. We did not use the pool, but I would have if time allowed. It looked clean and refreshing. There are even a few small covered pavilions for relaxing outdoors with some shade. There appeared to be a few contractors or other longterm guests, but it was always quiet and no drama. The owner was professional yet friendly, and the cleaning team was too. We will definitely stay here when we are in the area next time.

The air conditioner did not sufficiently cool the room and I requested a downstairs room, due to having two small children, while booking online and receive notification that my request was accommodated but upon arrival at the site was told I had to pay an additional fee for the room to be downstairs. Not at all happy with this location services…
• L1582MLtheresam (8/5): Met our needs for a safe place to sleep - At 1 something in the morning, the phone was answered quickly, and the room price wasn’t jacked up! We arrived a few minutes later and found a very personable man checking us in. The room was clean and spacious (although dated) there was a coffee maker but no blow dryer. It’s a basic hotel with 2 beds, a big fridge and basic toiletries. 🧴 I’ve Location was quiet and there was a diner on site but we didn’t try it.

We are none smokers and our room smelled like cigarettes the family next door had kids they screamed and cried all evening. Other then the cigarette smell and Noisy family next door our over night stay wasnt bad at all.

They should have long-term tenants at a end unit that are elderly and can't sleep..and they should not have customers room next to motel staff...and the AC was very weak..it would cut off and on and not stay cool and beds were very hard and there was no shampoo and the bed spreads had dirt on them...white stuff on the brown duvets...sheets were dirty and the white comforters in the brown duvets had black dirt on them that touched the floor and the sheets were unclean..pillows were small and flat..for the price they offer no type of morning snacks or brkfst. It was disappointing..no ashtray in room. Sheets were worn thin...and black marks. It wasn't worth the money at all. More like a 50.00 room..No cable..or any movie channel...

I didn’t have any bites nor saw anything on a bed big check so it wasn’t that. I admittedly am sensitive with several allergies so I bring my own body wash/shampoo/conditioner, but can’t do much about the linens

We liked everything but we were bummed out they didn't do breakfast. There were plenty of restaurants close by so it wasn't a deal breaker.

The parking at your door was very helpful, did not have lug suitcases very far. Ground floor room was also very helpful, I am disabled and it made. It very easy to access the room
• Geraldine (2/5): - Very dirty carpet, linens, chairs and table. There was a roach, a fly and smell all over even though it is a non smoking room. I was charged additional $23 as I have 2 more adults, even I have 2 queen beds and sofa bed on my room. Noisy outside too, people are very nosy and stares a lot. Not a good place for family, no breakfast and not clean. The tv is not working either, broken remote and wifi needs to be connected all the time. We have to wear our slippers inside and have to tell my boys not to sit on the floor/carpet. Will definitely not be back.

• G4438IZfrankm (8/5): Pet friendly hotel at a reasonable price. Good for travelers! - I was happy to get a room so late at night after being on the road for hours. They allowed pets for a small extra fee. The worst thing I would say about staying there was the water pressure in the shower. The sink had great water pressure but the shower not so much, even after adjusting the shower head to the different sprays. The AC worked great!

• Jennifer (4/5): Rest stay - Only room available was a dounle bed smoking. Only passing through needed sleep to continue on. Room was in very poor condition. Holes in sheets and appeared to be dry rotted. The a/c unit would not stay running no matter the temp setting. All fixtures torn off walls with mold in the tub. I would not list this room agqin until refurbished.
