Maureen (7/5): All in all we had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back. - Great location and very friendly staff. We had a lovely room for the whole family The pool area really lets this property down. We opted to go to the beach at their partner property instead which was lovely. Restaurant unfortunately was booked both nights but we were accommodated at their partner property which was beautiful by the beach. But would have also been nice to eat at the hotel you stay at.

Matin (8/5): Very good - I LOVED the scenery and how beautiful was the back garden near the swimming pool The location was too far if you wanted to explore st tropez and the night life , all the nice beach clubs and restaurants were 25 mins away ane each time cost 80 euros each way for us to get there. There was no food beside the pool after 5 pm which was very disappointing for a hotel that might have guests from different countries .

General areas have very little light and too much furniture- tables too narrow. Outside not prepared with cushions- or only very sparingly and hence not very welcoming. Seemed more like a furniture shop than a luxury hotel.

The dinner on the veranda was exceptional and the waiter made the experience really special and fun. We loved the ambiance of the dinner outside with the lights on the property highlighting the view.

Château de Valmer has a great location on the Côte d’Azur. There is a relaxing pool area with sun beds. Easy beach access, with a walk through the vines. The hotel service was friendly, and they serve great rosé wine which is grown on the estate! The rooms are both comfortable and clean. The gardens and the chateau are very pretty. Drinks/bar pricing is extortionate.

Anonymous (9/5): Good, could’ve been great. - The staff were very welcoming and nice during all of our stay. The room was good, comfortable. We loved the breakfast. The check in (16PM) / check out (11AM) times are disappointing, it does’t make any sense for a “five star hotel”. Also the we found the prices of the restaurant and pool bar a little above our expectations (the famously expensive beach clubs were cheaper than the hotel).

Pleasant walk to the beach along palm lined promenade amongst the vineyard. Fresh fruit drinks to rehydrate after swimming in the sea. The staff are excellent, helpful and go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. WiFi provided however no usb sockets to charge phones, laptops etc. Lack of electrical sockets too. Outside pool much chillier than last year. Could cover pool at night to retain heat. Small choice on menu meant we ate out more. Price of burger at 47 Euros was not inkeeping with prices in similar hotels. Service at La Pinede restaurant was slow and inattentive whilst surrounding tables were swftly waited upon. Booked a large double bed, two twin beds put together were comfortable but not the same.

Last checkout 11am, first check in 4pm leaves 5 hours to clean and prepare the room!!!!!
