The inn is immaculate, the room is well decorated and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is a full meal and delicious. We definitely recommend Blue Heron Inn, you wont be disappointed!

The room (Hummingbird suite) was large, clean and very comfortable ( watch out for the stairs) They thoughtfully had snacks, wine, and coffee available daily. Parking a bit challenging, but even on this very busy day (New Year’s eve), parked in front. We did not partake in the breakfast (up too late!), but could smell the bacon in the morning. I can’t say enough good about this place. It is what a bed/breakfast should always be about! Bravo! We will definitely return- soon!

The wrap around porch, cozy atmosphere dining room breakfast experience was fantastic. Great getaway for couples!

Amazingly friendly management and lovely included breakfast on the terrace in the morning - great way to kick off the start of a stay on the island AND close to everything! Only thing is that I didn’t think of the 3-stories of stairs to get to my room and overpacked! Be mindful of what room you choose and how heavy your luggage is!

The B&B is spotlessly clean with great A/C and good food. The parking is a little tight but workable. Historic downtown is very walkable with lots of great places to eat. We never ate at the same place twice. We very much enjoyed our visit.

• PATRICIA (10/5): - We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Blue Heron Inn. The location is perfect for walking around the downtown area with many restaurants and shops close by. We were able to park our car at the Inn and barely needed it again. There is ample parking in their private lot, and parking is permitted on the street in front of the Inn. The house is historic and beautifully decorated, with a mix of antiques and contemporary furnishings so that its history is evident, but feels open and modern (and extremely clean!) at the same time. The innkeepers, Julie and David are extremely charming and hospitable. The breakfasts were perfect- and I really enjoyed the 5pm Beer/Wine Happy Hour in the main room where you can mix with the host and other guests. We stayed in the Heron Room on the first floor. I loved the light and airy ambiance in that room. All in all, from the moment we entered, from initial welcome, to our leave -taking, we felt like friends and so, we will be back!

Our room was amazing! Great themed decor, comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and superb spa like toiletries. The service was amazing! They have a great assortment of coffees and teas through the day, and the breakfast is out of this world! It is what you would call a gourmet breakfast.
