Short walk to historic Battery Point, Salamanca market, constitution dock where you will find waterfront restaurants and cafes. The apartment had everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a very comfortable bed.

- YASUHIKO (10/5): It was the best stay during the trip. - First of all, the room was clean. My wife was also impressed. The kitchen was easy to use and we had a comfortable stay. The owner's communication was also accurate, so we were able to enter the room smoothly, even for foreigners like us. It's also great that there is an elevator from the parking lot.The location was quiet in a residential area, perfect for sightseeing in the morning and evening. The distance to the city center is a little far. As a foreigner, it's a little difficult for me to use a car because the roads around the area are complicated. The view is good as you can see the whole city from the high ground, but you can't see the port very well. It's a shame.

We had a fantastic stay at the Battery Point Apartment on Hampden over the Christmas period. The apartment was comfortable, well located, and perfect for a relaxing Hobart break.
What really stood out was the excellent communication from the hosts — clear, friendly, and very responsive. They were also incredibly flexible over the busy holiday period, which made everything easy and stress-free.
A great base for exploring Battery Point and the city. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Also had a washing machine and cooking facilities and underground secure parking with dedicated parking spot. Hardly used our car during our stay, with so many things within walking distance.

My husband found the bed a little hard, but it was great for me. Everything else was brilliant and we are looking at booking the apartment again.

The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. You can walk to Salamanca Place for the markets and bars and restaurants or into town. Just be aware there are steep hills when walking. Entry instructions were clear and there was a secure place in the garage to park your car.

- Steve (8/5): Great location (remember that Hobart is hilly), nice and clean, plenty big enough for two people. - The secure parking was great. There’s an elevator from the car park to the room. Very close to the city so location was excellent. Only a 10 minute walk to the harbour and only a 30 minute drive to the top of Mt Wellington. Good size balcony and outdoor furniture. The washer/dryer worked well. Full sized kitchen. Enjoyed the throw rugs. The glass shelf in the shower is a bit too big and gets in the way.
Both air conditioners and the bathroom exhaust fan were a bit noisy.

And is a short walk to the harbour and weekend market from the apartment. Many choices of restaurants nearby. The elevator serves well from the ground floor carpark to the upper floors. - V (9/5): Delightful - Quiet suburban street in walking distance to pubs and eateries. Perfectly clean. Very secure with allocated parking. Lift from the basement to the front door. Perfectly comfortable with a king size bed and great quality linen. Lovely decor and thoughtful, practical lighting. Plenty of room. Have to get out of the car to enter the code to open the car park gate.
Lack of privacy on the balcony (during business hours only) due to gated medical centre carpark next door.
While pubs are close by, the hills of Hobart can be a challenge - though it's a good way to compensate for the calories you've just consumed!
But these are petty dislikes.
