Guest Reviews
- Ogier (7/5): Got what we needed, nothing great or bad. - Close to the airport and several options around to eat. Shuttle included was great Elevator making noises, needs to be checked I think.
- Bernice (10/5): - The workers were polite and friendly Everything was good and the staff were friendly and polite
- Lillian (8/5): The staff were good and friendly - Isolation No comment
- Suzanne (9/5): -
- Dianne (6/5): The staff was very friendly. - Convenient location Need to have some greenery.
The furnishings are a little worn. Had to call twice for the proper bedding for the pull out couch.
- Navid (8/5): -
- Beryl (6/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Needs a lot of maintenance, but the stay itself had no issues. - Location worked well for where we were needing to go. Kids liked the pool and waterslide. Bedding was clean. Needed a lot of maintenance. Ceiling in the pool looked like it could cave in at anytime. Our shower leaked. Everywhere you looked, the hotel needed work done. Breakfast was alright, but same everyday.

- nicolebM2486TH (10/5): Exceptional Hospitality and Genuine Care - I went with my family, and upon check-in, the lady assisting us casually asked about the purpose of our visit to Winnipeg. During our conversation, I mentioned that we had driven from Thompson to Winnipeg just to celebrate our daughter’s birthday.
Later that evening, a couple of staff members came to our room with a lovely little cake and wished my daughter a happy birthday. I later found out that the same lady who assisted us at check-in was the hotel manager, and she had arranged for the staff to make my daughter feel special.
We truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. It’s little things like this that show genuine care for guests. My daughter doesn’t have many friends, so we didn’t invite anyone to celebrate, but the staff truly made her day unforgettable.
We will definitely be coming back to this property whenever we are in Winnipeg — and even if we are not staying, we would still stop by just to say hello to the wonderful staff.
Hats off to the management. I believe the hotel manager’s name was Sukhpreet, if I’m not wrong. Sukhpreet, we couldn’t catch you at check-out, but thank you so much for the wonderful experience and for making our daughter’s birthday so special.
- 960simsl (10/5): Must visit - Amazing experience, went with family
- Nick (10/5): -
- Scheper (10/5): - Everything went as expected n/a
- Charolette (10/5): Great stay staff helped out multiple times including bringing up and full ice cube bucket to my room - Great staff went above and beyond during our stay
- Citadel (7/5): -
- Rehirchuk (8/5): - Staff were accommodating when I mentioned that the heater was noisy and they changed our room immediately. Breakfast was very good. There were a lot of options to chose from and everything was fresh. I wish the pool deck was cleaned more often. The pool liner had a lot of film on it. It definitely needed a good cleaning.

- Lorna (7/5): - The beds were comfy Stairs
- Jerome (10/5): Best place to stay while waiting for a long layover! - Location. Location. Location. Complimentary transport pick up and drop off to the airport! A little noisy in the middle of the night. Probably from the washing machine and the dryer.
- Alexander S (9/5): Good overnight stay, can't complain. - Not sure. Parking
- Maybellene (10/5): -
- Mathew & Melanie (5/5): Not what we expected - We liked the bed, the shower and the fact that there was big bottles of shampoo not small hotel ones. We didn't like that we didnt have enough channels, lots of it was French.
The room is really small.
We had to ask for garbage bags cuz there wasn't any extras in the basket.
Kinda thought it was silly to have only one regular coffee and one decaf.
When there is 2 of us and we were staying for 2 nights.
We had people standing by our window and being loud and smoking and the people above us were really for both days. Went out a couple times and the same guy passed out hard in the dining area.
- Mina (9/5): - Location
- Eugennie (8/5): Warmth and comfortable - Good Bteakfast free compliments
- Tracey (7/5): The stay was decent, hotel was quiet, breakfast was good, staff was alright - The property was decent The pillows were horrible, not enough towels, and always had to ask for pool towels
- Kaur (2/5): - The room service. When we was not in the room they just entered the room without our permission. What the hell is there any rule that if guest is not in the room you guys can enter?
- Rylie (6/5): - Good breakfast options but waffle maker was very sticky even when oil was used and timer did not work. The room felt quite dirty. Definitely needs some upgrades. The floor was matted and had stuff stuck to it. The dresser and desk was very chipped up and sticky on the surface as well as drawers did not open and close well at all. Beds were hard and pillows were lumpy.
The front desk staff didn't seem super happy and welcoming when we arrived.

- lilrosie37 (6/5): Not what we were expecting - ok place to stay, staff don't go out of their way to interact with you, our bathroom toilet was full of poop when we entered our room, we grabbed our bags and went back to front desk, they offered to send up housekeeping and i then requested another room, they obliged. Continental breakfast was the same for 3 days, the cut up apples with ice on them were disgusting and that was the only fruit,
- Castel (7/5): Excellent - Area Good stay
- Karl (7/5): - It had a pool with slide. And free breakfast. Pool and hot tub were not clean. Water was murky.
- Michele (9/5): Rooms were renovated, very comfortable stay for a quick layover with airport shuttle and reasonable breakfast, - Closeness to airport Appeared a bit run down
- Leanne (6/5): Short - Close to the airport It had broken things in the room
- Raymond (8/5): Day's Inn just works! - Location
Comfortable bed
Quiet floor Lack of parking.
- Desiree (5/5): -
- skode (7/5): It was okay! - Convenience to the airport and the free breakfast The cleaners did not really do much during my 5 day stay. No bottle opener in my "kitchen" unit.
- Ruth (10/5): - Bed was broken and told the front desk but nothing was done
- Ruth (5/5): -
- Natalie (7/5): -
- Sarah (7/5): -
- ashley (5/5): worst stay we have every had at this hotel - room had cereal on floor by bed, tv channels were terrible , mold along bottom of shower , check in took longer than normal and we had pre checked in, check in man was hard to understand with his language, no mention that hot tub was not working people were in hot tub but no jets working and scum all around top of the tub when we went to check out there was blood drops on the floor to the front entrance i told them and they weren't concerned
- Sara (10/5): -
- Ella (7/5): - Location n eating area Closet door was stuck n pillows too round n hard
- Susan (7/5): -
- Joseph (4/5): -
- Ethel (8/5): -
- Laura (7/5): -
- Jamila (5/5): Good for price! But double check your room as soon as you check in! - I love the location It’s so nasty here
- Jamila (5/5): always double check your room at check in! They’ll leave dirty towels and broken stuff in room - I love the location Cleanliness and broken stuff in room
- Merna (8/5): -
- Okemow (5/5): -
- Anderson (8/5): -
- Adventure296447 (8/5): 4 nights - The breakfast was great, much better than complimentary breakfasts at other hotels. The only unpleasantry was that there was a fight in the unit above us on the first night, but that's not the hotel's fault. (The police should respond sooner because it went on a long time.)
- D6331PSgillesm (10/5): Friendly Winnipeg - Polite people excellent service
- Jamila (10/5): Would stay here again! - Staff is friendly I love the location
- M819EJandreah (6/5): Has Been Better - We have stayed at this location many times. We noticed some changes in the quality of the hotel this time.
Positives: check-in was easy. Reception staff was helpful with any inquiries.
Breakfast was good as always. A good variety of foods to choose from.
Location- hotel is close to airport and Polo Park Mall.
Negatives:
Room Maintenance
Some examples included:
-Two out of three lamps did not work.
-Toilet paper holder- missing parts and broken.
- Small hole in the back of the bathroom door.
Pool
-was dirty
-stairs to the waterslide and doors rusting.
-parts of the roof in the pool area need attention.
- 565nolanc (2/5): Save your money, go elsewhere - Stayed at Days Inn airport/polo park on Berry. Check in was a nightmare, after receiving a prompt a day early for early “check in”, I filled out all forms, then check in came at the hotel. They tell me they it “doesn’t work”, I had to then fill out 3 papers again, running back outside with people waiting behind me in line already, to check my license plate number again. Then I’m told my payment method is not accepted, thought it was cleared a day prior through the early check in prompts. Now I need a second form of payment.
Then we get to our room, within 20 minutes I’m called from front desk asking if I took a luggage trolly (I hadn’t), but I told them there was one several rooms down on the same floor I saw. Then they ask me to tell them what room it’s outside of. This isn’t my job, I’m not sure why staff could not figure that out themselves.
Lastly, the entire reason we came here was for the pool for my child. As soon as you walk in the pool room, your eyes begin to burn with the chlorine in the air, I’ve never seen it this bad anywhere else. We power through, and within about 2 minutes of being in the “kiddie pool”, I notice several acrylic nails someone has ripped off their fingers and left along the kiddie pool railing.
We left the pool immediately. I brought it up to the front desk, and she laughed it off saying “they don’t clean it until end of day”. Pretty pathetic excuse for how gross it was in there.
That was the last straw and I would never waste my money here again.
- Gilbert (9/5): Very convenient location - Complimentary breakfast was good 👍🏽
- Twila (10/5): - Breakfast was very good always look for hotels that have a continental breakfast Nothing
- Eetuk (10/5): Good - Everything None
- sirajgalle (10/5): Valued for your money 💰 - Luxurious rooms with internet and TV with bath tub included washroom. It's a one of the best hotel if you are looking to stay close by winnipeg airport. I fully recommend this hotel and services including breakfast.
- josiahn653 (2/5): Pool was gross and dirty - The pool was awful. Dirty and unsanitary. Strong pool odor and floating hair and skin cells in the hottub. They definitely do not follow the correct procedures for keeping a pool clean
- Terry (7/5): -
- Guy (10/5): - Airport Shuttle
- Melanie (5/5): Paid over $200 basically for a bed and shower. - Check-in was fast. Staff were helpful. No way to regulate room temperature as thermostat was dead. Plug-ins for charging phone were loose. No food service other than breakfast buffet that was not open early enough to accommodate early flights. Got inaccurate directions to find an alternative food source for an evening meal, so as it was very cold, ended up at a close but very poor quality restaurant. Advertised airport shuttle was just a cab and voucher, and the cab had terrible suspension.
- Vimal (10/5): -
- Wallace (8/5): Very convenient to airport, clean and friendly. - Very convenient to airport, clean and friendly Nothing
- Casey (3/5): Dirty hotel made for an uncomfy stay - Breakfast was nice Room was worn and stank like cleaner, towels and pillow cases had stains, definitely overpriced for the value
- Lindsay (4/5): Disappointing - The pools wa is nice We were kept up at night due to people in the hallway yelling and slamming doors. Our phone didn't work to call front desk. Quality of breakfast was poor. Overall maintainance of hotel was lacking pool ans how tub were dirty, room had many issues.
- Michael (10/5): It was my 3rd or 4th stay here and it is a good hotel other than no restaurants close. - The breakfast was very good and the service to the airport was excellent Closer to resturants
- Cynthia (3/5): -
- Ricardo (7/5): The price was reasonable and the staff was friendly - The breakfast and free parking The bathroom had a smell coming from the face basin
- Raymond (8/5): -
- SUBIN (6/5): - At night there some continual sound that would last long, would stop for a bit and start again. I couldn’t fall asleep on the first night.
- Richard (9/5): - Clean
- king (8/5): -
- McKinney (10/5): -
- Belinda (10/5): Clean, nice nd quiet. - Didn't eat breakfast there . Not enough towels in the rooms, should put 4 of each in each room especially with 2 beds in the room.
- Candace (4/5): - The room ad beds were nice Pool and hot tub were both gross. The hot tub had about 8-10 inches of foam on it. The chlorine level was so high in the room it burnt our eyes yet the pool was off coloured and dirty. The breakfast was not good. The sausages stank funny and tasted bad. Those folded eggs are awful. So firm and dense. Rather make scrambled then that.w

- ws778 (10/5): Avid business traveller - always looking for a nice hotel, and this is it! - Always a great experience at this location. Staff are friendly. Close to the airport.
