- Jagoda (8/5): - We got upgraded to the loft room, and it was a lovely experience. Bed was comfy, and while the aircon took a while to figure out, it worked great and kept the room very cold (the 24/7 reception helped us figure it out). The hotel is quite accomodating and clarified any questions we had via whatsapp (but it is faster to go down to the front desk). Amenities were fine overall too. Aircon took a while to figure out but it got working soon enough. Loft stairs are quite steep so be careful going down. Shower was not stocked with soap (maybe they didn't expect us there), so check first and ask the reception if it isn't there.

- Christine (2/5): DON'T GO THERE!! - Wifi was good. Close proximity to the MRT. Bed was comfortable. Everything. Room wasn't ready until well after check-in time. Apart from.the MRT, the location was questionable & we felt unsafe. Nowhere to sit in the lobby. The smallest room we have EVER stayed in, & the worst hotel out of 22 properties on our 80 day holiday around the world. The swimming pool & courtyard was a joke. So was the 3 star rating - more like zero stars.

Manager is to be changed. - The location of the property was good and accessible The manager of the property during my check-in was extremely cold and unaccommodating. He was only focused taking money . We kept calling the person for linen water and other services, he was not helpful at all. He was not available in the property for the whole time. He just collected the money for check-in and he got disappeared. I would want to raise a complain against him so that he doesn’t give pain to other consumers/visitors.

- Graeme (2/5): Terrible value for money - The location was convenient just 200m from rochor mrt Reception was generally not staffed despite being marked as 24/7 in the booking description, and the entrance was shared with a pizza restaurant (taking up half the small lobby). There was little to separate our ground level room from this, making it feel very exposed to the street and noise. There was a broken step within the room, general air of dishevelment about it, and the sheets did not feel clean - yet they asked for a $100 security deposit which did not feel justified given the poor state of the hotel.

Foyer was sectioned off, it appeared someone was sleeping and smoking in a section closed off by a curtain. Had to ask for extra towels and toilet paper multiple times. Would not recommend or stay there again. We were there as a family and did not feel safe.

I had to wait for 3 - 4 minutes before I was attended to someone. Had to deposit cash. And once reached the room, it was horrible!!!! Did not take care of the facility and hence it was not value for money.

Wished we could get a higher level thought as my room was directly by the back entrance so couldn’t sleep well but other than that.. LOVED IT. Just the patio table & seats will be great if there’s a shade or summer umbrella :)

- Amuthavalli (6/5): The stay was pleasant and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. - Location was alright. Staff was friendly and helpful; just a phone call away. Helped me to get into my room as there was only 1 key card issued per room but my kids and I had different schedules. The loft was nice and cozy. Layout was nice. Our rooms were adjacent so we shared the balcony where we could chat and go into each others' room without using the front door. There was only 1 key card per room but we were 5 guests in 2 rooms, all with different schedules. We got 2 lofts, the ensuite toilet doors in both rooms could not be shut nor locked. The lift smelled a little musty. The swimming pool was a single lane sized pool.

- Megan (6/5): Pleasant - Great location if you'd like to explore the colourful hustle of Little India. It is situated in a quiet street but close to everything. For what you're paying, it has the basic amenities. Our aircon didn't seem to be work, so our night stay was quite warm.

Most of the time there was nobody on the reception desk, and when there was they weren't particularly helpful. Due to la lack of soft furnishings (carpets etc.) noise echoed - the noise of guests opening and closing the door, the noise of cleaners, the noise of screaming children. Perhaps it might have been quieter on the second or third floors. Also - despite it being a first floor room there was no window.

- Rahimirullaili (10/5): A gem of a hotel - Location was good plenty of restaurants around..won’t be hungry if you’re staying there, staff was friendly and welcoming kudos to Taksha who took care of our needs -
- Tania (7/5): Good - Staff: very friendly, helpful and courteous, right across the board from reception, porters, cleaning staff. Room: good size room and bathroom on first stay, different room on second stay, not as good. Electric stove top x 2 hobs, but no cooking items, 2 dinner plates, 2 forks and 2 spoons, 2 mugs. Microwave but no dishes to use. All areas in hotel very clean. Breakfast: plentiful and buffet style 7am- 1 pm. Food very good. Lots of Notices up in area: “no removal of buffet foods permitted, All food taken must be consumed in this area” They also had staff roaming to keep an eye out so this could be monitored. As we checked out on both occasions before 7 am, I requested a take out breaky pack and this was provided and waiting for us upon our departure, without any fuss. Location: on the booking .com print out, it’s address is shown as City Walk. This is not the case as is a few blocks away from City Walk. The Mazaya Centre has seen better days, there were notices that upgrades were occurring in the hotel room on our 1st visit and on our 2 nd visit, it looked like nothing much had been done. Not much around by way of good eating places, however close to the train station which was easy to access and use , to go into other areas. Both stays, our room overlooked car parks and 2nd stay we were on side of busy main road which was very busy and noisy, day & night. Overall, happy with our stay, would I stay again? No I noted that the hotel was offering a discount on next stay with Leva (at our first visit). Sadly as we had pre-booked the 2nd stay, this discount was not applied!

Iron was not provided in the room as per facilities described before. when asked provided only the iron but failed to provide any ironing board. continuous drilling sound started from 0830 in the morning everyday disturbed our sleep.

- Shahmen (1/5): Terrible, do not stay here! - The location was great, and the loft was beautiful if it was maintained well. The receptionists acted more like gangsters than there to help, every approach to them felt like a huge bother. They raise their hands in your face to get you to wait. There was no welcome or a greeting at all. The receptionist was always on a video call with her friends. The pool area is nice although infested with pigeons, so unless you enjoy sharing the pool with the birds and their droppings Id avoid it. The room was dusty and the TVs only played youtube. The bathroom walls were moldy and dirty, the drain barely drained. I had to ask twice to get that fixed along with the bedsheets in the room which never fit the mattress even after it was changed. Someone also stole a a bag from my room, which they kept saying no one came in, but they did give me fresh towels and rearranged everything in my room, so someone did enter and stole my bag, they could have checked the cctv but they did not offer any help. Felt so unsafe in this space. Which is such a shame as its a beautiful hotel with great potential.

The place is filthy. - I appreciated that the staff watched over our bags after checkout so we could do some site seeing before our flight. Other than that I have nothing positive to say. The price quoted in booking.com is not correct we payed almost double the quoted price. Mildew smell as soon as you walk in the place. Room was not clean. There was trash in the room from prior guests. The AC over the bed was leaking, so the bed was wet. But the biggest issue was the room was not only dirty it was filthy looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Not to mention the bugs. Horrible experience.

Kudos to Shabana’s team for doing an awesome job, providing an awesome hospitality experience for me and my partner for the longest stayed we ever had and we will always choose this property over others. Shabana , Gordon, Shasheed , Harzley and one of the female associate (Malay), sorry i didn’t catch your name. Thank you for the hospitality given, appreciate it much. I will be back soon for my monthly stay if there’s any availability and properly arrange for me to avoid any misunderstanding among words against words. I’m not a person who will leave negative feedback but when I start to drop one, mean something really annoys me. Housekeeping team really need to buck up and do better. I believe housekeeping team can be improved,like one of the old female housekeeper in the past, who always clean every room on point. One of the service staff which really annoys me is Thillai, always with his phone and not paying attention to guests needs and sometimes I have to repeat several time in order for him to acknowledge my request and several time caught him “forcing” several guests to leave him a review upon checking in which honestly is not good.

- Ferina (5/5): While the hotel's location is commendable, there's a lot left to be desired in terms of quality - One of the standout features of the place is its affordability. Furthermore, its strategic location is a food lover's dream come true. With an abundance of food stalls surrounding the area, you're never short of options, whether you crave local delicacies or international flavours. Accessibility and the convenience of having a myriad of dining choices at your doorstep make this hotel a top pick for those visiting the area. Highly recommended for budget travellers looking for convenience! However, the experience had its highs and lows. Several aspects of the stay left much to be desired. On arrival, the lack of a dedicated receptionist was immediately noticeable. A casual, non-uniformed individual eventually approached us, making the check-in experience feel a bit unprofessional. While the room was larger than anticipated, cleanliness was an issue. Signs of wear and tear were evident, and the absence of daily cleaning services led to an accumulation of dust. Moreover, while The Daulat touts itself as a boutique hotel, the ambience and service quality felt more in line with a budget hotel. To make matters worse, we encountered issues with the room access card and the soundproofing was poor, making for a less-than-peaceful night's sleep. In summary, while the hotel's location is commendable, there's a lot left to be desired in terms of service quality and maintenance. I've had more satisfying stays at other budget hotels.

- Elisa (1/5): Don't stay here - Nothing. The 9/10 reviews on booking are fake paid reviews. I have nothing good to say about this hotel. They will ask you for 100 SGD deposit upon check in and it must be cash. Nearest ATM is in a little shop area 4 blocks away. Good luck if you arrive when the shop area is closed. They are very inflexible about this deposit. Our stay was paid in full through booking anyway, what was the deposit for? Who knows. Staff very uncaring. The pool is literally the size of a bathtub and of course, on the days we stayed it was "under maintenance". Shower didn't work, called in the staff, they came in and stepped into our shower with shoes. Cleaning crew didn't clean the toilet, cleaning was late, at 5pm The 9/10 reviews on booking here are paid reviews, there's a sign on the elevator that says they refund you 30 SGD from their stay if you give them a 10/10 review. Rooms are cramped, we paid for a room with 4 person stay (at eye watering 250 SGD per night) and they only gave us two towels and the bed was a double bed. There was a little cot in the room bit no sheets and when I asked for sheets for the cot they said it would cost 40 SGD because each extra bed was 40 USD. But the bed was already there and nevermind that we had 3 sleeping places for 4 people! Worst stay in my life, at scam prices. For 250 SGD a night I expect a top of the line hotel with breakfast not tis fliy by night cramped dirty scammy operation we were greeted with. Be warned.

- Geraldine (8/5): Not bad. - We could fit 2 more beds into the room for my children. There was no fridge, only a mini chiller that gets switched off if we leave the room. Only 1 key card.
- Nik (8/5): love - the location was near to MRT, easy access to part of the town. the facilities in the room was quite okay, nothing much to expect because I spend a lot at the outside. i was shocked with the space in the room, quite small and narrow. so when it comes to the comparison between the space room and money you spent here, less worth it. it’s singapore after all and the living cost here quite expensive, so you can’t assume to have cheaper price hotel in the middle of the city. overall it was amazing moment to be here in singapore.

- Nair (4/5): Disappointed - The location of the place was good and very asessible. The unprofessional staff not willing to help at all....sounded abrupt and rude...wish there was good customer service also the front desk manager was so rude to the house keeper infront of guests ...I did not appreciate that...the room I booked was so tiny my suitcase cudnt fit and I had to ask for upgrade.
