• Emilio (6/5): - I pass seven nights in this hotel all staff in reception are excellent, their was nice and helpful but the restaurant staff server are not professional.i was about to take some fruit on my breakfast because I took a bowl to put my fruit in there was a server who grab my bowl and put it in a plate when I say why she said I can not use a bowl for fruit and I said this is not an obligation she said yes it is . She was lucky I didn’t say anything to her boss because I know it’s heard to find a job in Haiti. That’s the only reason that I stayed quiet. But the receptionists are excellent.

The door to the room isn't able to close, I brought it to the receptionist’s attention, and they promised it would be fixed but never came to fix it- which poses a major security hazard. Gratuity is demanded by some staff in order to receive any basic assistance.

However, as a guest I was stared at a lot by staff while dining or just walking around in the promenade or at the pool which was kind of creepy at times I felt like I was a suspected criminal that was under surveillance. The room needs to be updated. The walls and ceiling in the room and curtains were badly stained I think there was blood on the curtain which really raised my eyebrows. The curtains should definitely be washed because that may be a biohazard issue. The food at the restaurant was great. I was able to have transportation to and from the airport which was nice. I did not feel unsafe as the property is very secured with security staff. There were young children screaming in the hallways early in the morning which I understand kids will be kids. Overall my stay at the Oasis was nice. I do believe that the hotel needs some updates, painting, and sterilization to the rooms. And the pool needs to be cleaned daily.

First night, I had to change home because of AC didn’t work.
