• Alice (1/5): - Don’t go there. Suddenly one day the hostel was closed and no one told us anything about what’s happening. We were all alone there and didn’t understand anything. Some other guest told us what happened. Meanwhile other people came to check in and had not been informed about hostel being closed. Only good thing was that we could stay our last 2 nights even if it closed down, but a bit wierd since there were no one there except a crying dog .. very sad. Would not recommend this place.

• Roxana (10/5): - My magical place! ✨ I can’t wait to come back truly the best choice. 😭 First of all, I want to thank the people here for their energy and spirit. You are amazing and you’re the ones who make this place magical. We came here for the Full Moon Party, but we stayed for what we fell in love with. ❤️ The people here organize taxi transfers to the Full Moon Party and help you with any information you need. I definitely recommend staying on the island instead of waiting in line for 3 hours to leave in the morning. The hostel offers both shared rooms and private rooms. Downstairs you’ll find a pool table, a ping pong table, WiFi everywhere, and plenty of spots to relax, enjoy the beautiful view, and meet new people. They have lots of activities, trips, and great tips on places to explore. We did free morning yoga and spent almost every evening there, meeting new people. The food is very good and affordable, and the coffee is amazing (honestly the best in Thailand we spent a month traveling and almost everywhere else the coffee was bad 😄). We had a private room on the top floor, with a beautiful sunset view. The room facing the road can be a bit noisy (some vehicles in Thailand are modified and quite loud), but it wasn’t disturbing enough to affect our sleep. Sometimes we could also hear roosters in the morning, but honestly I found it funny and even enjoyable. How can u be upset about that 😂 The room was very spacious, with plenty of space for our luggage, and even a small sofa. The shower has hot water, you just need to turn on the boiler 😄 The AC worked perfectly, the bed was comfortable, and we also had a fridge which was very helpful. Clean towels were always available and could be changed anytime, along with bathroom essentials. The most important thing about this place is the people and the experiences you share. We want to thank everyone for the warm welcome, the energy, and the unforgettable moments.

When we ordered cocktails, one was not drinkable, the coconut milk was molded... we told the barman who got upset and said it was not true and didn't even want to listen to us.

• Ganesh Dhakad (10/5): Best Stay in Baan Tai - The location is amazing as it is a beautiful beachfront property. The beach view is peaceful and relaxing. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. The Danish owner is a great host with very positive energy and makes guests feel comfortable. The property is only about 100 meters from the night market, which is very convenient for food, shopping, and exploring local life. The only thing I felt was that the beverages were a little overpriced compared to nearby places. Everything else was very good and enjoyable.

• Aurora (7/5): Okay, a bit overpriced. - Great for full moon party - lots of people and they organize an open bar pre and taxis. The rooms were clean and sheets were nice. Staff are amazing, friendly, and kind. Beach isn’t great for swimming, a bit overpriced for conditions of rooms and facilities. Bathrooms at night would get disgusting from lots of drunk people - not always comfy as a woman. We had a bike so we were ok, but not sure what you would do if you didn’t - Not a lot around the hostel.

• Jelena (6/5): Okay but not great - They have a big and tasty menu to offer. Location is ok. The hostel needs some upgrade. Our curtain hangers fell off twice during the stay and the water pressure in the bathrooms is really bad. It’s a party hostel, you can hear the music in the rooms till 1 am.

• Berdygulov (9/5): Очень рад, что сложилось так, как я хотел. Хостел превзошел все мои ожидания, понравилось ВСЕ! - Понравилось буквально ВСЕ. Начиная от расположения Echo Beach Hostel, до собственного бара на берегу моря с chill зоной. Персонал очень приветливый, контингент постояльцев очень качественный, адекватный и осознанный. И что главное, есть парковка для мото-байков прямо у входа. Обязательно буду рекомендовать этот хостел своим друзьям и знакомым, а в след.визит этот хостел будет стоять первым в списке.

• Cha Linn (10/5): War mein Lieblingshostel - Der Außenbereich ist super! Ist ein super social Hostel durch den Billardtisch, die Bar und die Sofas. Genügend Duschen und Toiletten. Betten hatten Vorhänge, Steckdose und eigene Lampe

• Georgia (7/5): Comfortable stay in a spacious room. Just a slightly loud environment. - The room was very spacious and had a large bed that was very comfortable. The property backed onto the beach and had comfortable seating outside to enjoy. There was a bar and restaurant in the hostel which had a good menu. Drinking water was always available. The air con was very good. The staff were helpful with ordering a taxi back to the pier for us. Our room faced onto the main road which was very loud both during the day and night. We had earplugs luckily. On the weekend, loud music was played until around 1am which we could hear in our room.

• Katerina (4/5): Kein Higlight und dafür viel zu teuer. - Die Menschen Im Badezimmer war Schimmel an der Decke, die Zimmer waren dreckig und in den Spinden waren Beutel mit alter Wäsche von vorherigen Gästen, die Klimaanlage fiel jeden Tag aus, sodass man Bescheid geben musste. Ein Zimmerbewohner hat sogar ein Refund für eine Nacht bekommen. Als wir uns beschwerten wollten sie uns keine Nacht rückerstatten. Personal kam zwischendurch einfach ungefragt ins Zimmer, hat etwas an der Klimaanlage geschraubt und ist wortlos wieder gegangen.

• Marek (8/5): Fair value/price ratio - Very nice bar/pub at hostel with pool table and cozy area. Free drinking water and tasty food from the kitchen. Friendly atmosphere and staff always happy to help. The doors from balcony and window has no noise reduction - the street is very noisy. Take earplugs with you. If you don't have a scooter, and don't willing to pay overpriced taxi mafia, there is not too much to do in the area. The beach could be cleaner.

• Michal (5/5): I was freezing. - Unfortunately there was no bed left in the main building of Echo Beach hostel which has very good vibes and atmosphere. I was accomodated in a building across the road, which is not so good. Worse toilets, no social room. But you can go across the road to the main building of course, but it feels different staying in the building across the road. Aircon next to my bed at night on 21 degrees was like a torture and a remote control was not there. Somebody just decided that 21 degrees is good. I had to sleep with a hoody, pants and warm socks. I am sick now, not really nice. Funny thing that few days later I was staying in the main building and temperature in my room was perfectly fine.

• Alessia (6/5): - Gli spazi comuni sono piacevoli, l'affaccio sulla spiaggia molto carino e buono il ristorante. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. Purtroppo però, la camera era un po' angusta. 6 letti in una stanza piuttosto piccola. Io dormivo nel letto sopra, e riuscivo appena a stare seduta perchè il soffitto era molto basso. Ospitando anche tante persone, i servizi igienici non erano proprio pulitissimi.
