Guest Reviews
- Savannah (10/5): Fantastic hotel, great experience! - Obsessed with this hotel! They have several restaurants on site, including one that has live music! We stayed in a suite that was incredibly comfortable and spacious. It was well-equipped. The stay included a very tasty free breakfast and we got a nice gift upon check-out. It’s a great location in Doolin, too. I can’t recommend it enough!
- Philip (10/5): - Perfect
- Steven (10/5): - Everything was perfect. Their restaurants are amazing. Short walk into town (less than a mile). Doolin is a picturesque town.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Music in area by elevator - Room 201 is right next to elevator and music in area by elevator is so loud that it can be heard very well inside room - not a good thing when trying to rest/sleep. Had to ask front desk to turn music off at 10:45pm so we could sleep. Front desk staff nice. Can't sit at table in attached pub and eat, can only eat at bar and in restaurant area. Nice to get two drink tickets for sponsored lager. Good breakfast.
- Barbara (10/5): Lovely stay in Doolin - The staff was lovely and the location excellent. The rooms were fine, but the pillows a bit flat. I would stay again, though!
- zana (10/5): - Hotel Doolin is awesome! Best hotel yet that we have stayed in so far! Great Irish music last night!
- Tonianne (10/5): - Nice accommodations. Breakfast was wonderful and when we left they gave us a loaf of bread. Very kind gesture.
- Jimimah (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay here! Hersh was incredibly helpful at check-in and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t know all the food places closed around 9pm. Without us asking, Hersh offered to see if he can call the attached pub if they can still make us a meal. We had a lovely meal at the Fitz pub with yummy food, amazing staff and wonderful live music. Highly recommend this place!
- James (10/5): - Great stay in Doolin.. quiet room, lota of space, and a variety of restaurants at the hotel or nearby.
- Marilynn (10/5): - We only had one night in Doolin but the Hotel Doolin was a great place to lay our heads. Big room, comfy bed and ideal location.
- Paul (10/5): - Really nice hotel in the beautiful village of Doolin. Service was exceptional.
- Mykayla (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms and options.
- Josue (10/5): - Great cozy bedrooms, great location.
- Kristine (10/5): Recommended - Service was excellent breakfast was great. Attached to a pub who hosted the Fiddle Case playing trad Irish music - a night we won’t soon forget.
- Michelle (10/5): - The staff is very pleasant, the room was clean and new. Just one note the shower is narrow for people that need more elbow room. The parking is a Hugh plus!!!
- Georgina (10/5): - Fantastic place to stay, warm, friendly, spotlessly clean and the included breakfast was two courses! Amazing place would definitely stay again.
- COlleen (10/5): - Great little hotel in the center of Doolin. We walked to multiple restaurants, the pier for the ferry, and to the trail head to the Cliffs of Moher. TFI bus stop was right outside the hotel. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great. Room was a nice size and quite clean.
- Marie (10/5): Hotel Doolin five stars. Best hotel! - Incredible hotel! So friendly, so many services available. Several eateries on same level. Excellent pub on corner. Best food ever in Ireland. I can’t say enough good things! I wish the hotel Doolin all the best in their endeavors. We can’t wait to go back!
- Judith (10/5): - Perfect 2 night stay while visiting The Cliffs, hiking, and day trip
To Inis Mor. We loved the staff & our room. We saw great Trad music at Fitzpatrick’s Pub adjacent to hotel.

- Debra (10/5): - The room was lovely. All the staff treated me like family. The lobby with the fire was inviting. The location, location, was absolutely fabulous. The brown bread at check out wast the BEST.
- Scott (10/5): - A friendly hotel that's the biggest name in this little town of Doolin. Very nice people run stylish and well-kept facilities, including two restaurants, a bar and other amenities. They are tricked out for weddings, but our small family gathering felt welcomed and cared for. Try the Doolin red ale.
- Suzanne (10/5): - The people. From the woman at check in especially Sara and the bartender with the beard Declan??? The room. The breakfast, dinner at the pub. All perfect. I’ll be back.
- Nicholas (10/5): Friendliest staff. Beautiful hotel! - The staff was so nice.
Incredible meal at the hotel’s pub.
The staff also left us a handwritten note and a bottle of Champaign for our honeymoon!
- Nabil (10/5): Wonderful stay in doolin! - My fiancé and I had a great time at hotel doolin. Very comfortable and warm room in the middle of winter. Big breakfast was included and connected to a pub with live music. Short drive to the cliffs of Moher as well. Would definitely stay here again.
- chris (10/5): - Friendly staff, well appointed rooms. Great pub next door with excellent traditional Irish music.
- Nikki (10/5): - It has been the best hotel out of all so far! Roomy, modern, first floor, walking distance to connected restaurants and a short one to downtown. Breakfast was included and delicious!
- Gregory (10/5): Great place - Our stay was lovely. I had forgotten my toiletry bag and reception immediately supplied me with tooth paste and two new tooth brushed. The breakfast was lovely I had the mini Irish OMG it was enough. I did see a full Irish. Ridiculously large. The white pudding was fantastic.
The bar was lovely but the beer was ok not amazing. Guinness in all other bars was better snd the lager my wife had was lifeless. Can’t remember what she had. (I find this to be a problem in many hotels)
The singer was an older gent with a guitar and an amazing voice. He was excellent and really friendly.
Thanks for a lovely two nights in Doolin.
BTW bedroom fantastic really clean comfy beds
- Rachel (10/5): - Hotel Doolin is one of my favourite places to stay in Ireland. The staff are the epitome of welcoming and attentive. Shout out to Emily for being absolutely amazing! 10/10.
- Glenda (10/5): A Doolin gem - A very warm welcome greeted me. Room was a great size, very clean and comfy bed. Live music every night is a big attraction. Dinner and breakfast was so good along with the service. Staff very friendly. A cosy spot. Make sure to have a glass of Dooliner!
A lovely gesture at checkout was some brown bread to take home. I will definitely book here again.

- John (10/5): - Very friendly, nice hotel and guesthouse. Great little pub connected to hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - needs a fridge. everything else was outstanding! Great staff great breakfast.

- Iva Lee (10/5): Hotel Doolin great place. - Great place to stay overnight and head to the Cliffs of Moher in the morning. Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. If you are going to the Cliffs stay at Hotel Doolin
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Being able to walk through to the bar was fantastic. Being able to walk through to the bar AND see The Fiddle Case play, absolutely phenomenal. Doolin isn't a large city, but it's worth the stop simply for the music. The Western cities are sooooo much better to visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Unique, clean hotel within walking distance of pubs.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The food and complimentary drinks at Fitzgerald’s was great. However, the walls for the room were extremely thin which led to you hearing everything from your neighbours.
- Don (10/5): - Excellent in every way - great experience and fantastic breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great Hotel and So Convenient - We really liked the hotel. It was very quiet in our rooms and we liked being able to open the windows. But I have to say the best part is being able to walk through the building to the pub. The first night we tried a different pub and found the food and entertainment were actually better at Fitzpatrick's and it was only a few steps away!
- Joseph (10/5): Nice stay - Great small hotel in the center of Doolin. Staff is very nice. Pub attached. Free small beer to all on arrival. Morning breakfast very good especially our too servers Emma and Emma 2. Great people. Town is very small.
- Amanda (10/5): Lovely staff makes this place - The staff is sooooo nice here. They walked us to the room and were genuinely interested in talking to us. Room was clean and treats waiting for us were delicious. Wish we could stay for the whole trip and sad to go. Will come back here when I return to Ireland!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful Hotel - I can't say enough good things about this hotel. This is a clean, modern and updated hotel, but this hotel goes beyond that. The reception staff, Kira, was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast offered was abundant and very good. Upon checking out, we were given a small loaf of their specialty bread. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. We will definitely stay here again.
- David (10/5): Hidden charm - Friendly welcoming staff and such great food!
- LULUL (10/5): GREAT LOCATION - STAFF WAS EXTRMELY HELPFUL ATTACHED RESTURANT HAD GREAT FOOD AND MUSIC
- Tony (10/5): You must stay here - Beautiful hotel , big spacious rooms with lovely touches everything you need for a relaxing time
- Mary (10/5): Fantastic - Lovely welcoming staff - escorted all the way to the room by receptionist. Clean, spacious room. Fantastic HUGE breakfast and finally some homemade brown bread as we left. Couldn’t ask for better.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent hotel, with very friendly staff and a great breakfast with a lot of choices. Rooms are modern and very comfortable.
- Chuck (8/5): Friendly Staff and fun times at Fitzpatrick - Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Irish breakfast served was delicious and plentiful. The Fitzpatrick bar had great music sessions and a fun atmosphere.
- BERNADETTE (10/5): doing doolin - very nice place
great breakfast
- Frank (8/5): Nice hotel in Doolin. - Walking distance to good restaurants and pubs. Clean rooms. Friendly staff.
- Jennifer (10/5): Fantastic Hotel - We really loved our stay here and wish it were longer. The customer service is amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. Our room was great too. Big comfy bed, very spacious room. Bathroom was very clean and nice. We really loved the breakfast. It was our favorite on our entire trip in Ireland. Would definitely stay here again.
- MARIE (10/5): - Lovely comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Breakfast very good. Would definitely stay again.
- julie (10/5): Staff could not have been friendlier! - We had a triple, & were very comfortable! The staff could not have been nicer.
- Tom (10/5): Doolin - We stopped here on a portion of our honeymoon. We got here late at night so it was scary driving up to it because there is so little around it and not many lights on at night. But once we got there it was wonderful. We highly recommend going down the road to O'Conners pub for food and entertainment. The room was great. When you check out they offer you a half loaf of brown bread! They also give you a complimentary beer on check-in. We spent the following night on the Aran islands, but the hotel was more than happy to hold out bags until we got back.
- Michelle (10/5): Lovely Hotel! - LOVED this hotel. They gave us complementary drink tickets, homemade iced tea and brownies on arrival and when we checked out they gave us complementary home made bread. There is a little pub attached and it served delicious food and had live music all night. The rooms were clean and new and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place and would not hesitate to stay here again. The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well.
- Eithne (10/5): Doolin magic - Great wee hotel for boat trip to Cliffs of Moher.
- Mary (10/5): Nice Hotel! - Wonderful place to stay! Close to shops and scenery plus the Breakfast was very good.
- Joe (10/5): Great place to stay! - Wonderful Hotel - I would recommend this Hotel to anyone. Very comfortable beds and clean bathrooms plus the Breakfast was great too.
- NANCY (10/5): - After a long day sightseeing at the Cliffs of Moher, we were delighted when we arrived at Hotel Doolin. They didn't forget a thing to make our stay delightful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel close to everything in Doolin - Check-in was efficient and parking was easy. Room spacious and clean. close to pubs. Buffet breakfast was included however it did lack the selection of food that we had experienced at other hotels.
- Kelsi (10/5): Great Hotel! - Great hotel. Staff super friendly and helpful with planning and giving information. Nice place to stay with plenty of things to do around it
- Michael (8/5): - Excellent location as a base for both Dingle and the peninsula.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely refurbished room - Everything from the room to the breakfast was fantastic. The only trouble I had was that when I originally made my reservation through Expedia, I had to change the date, which is no trouble. However on arrival, they had only processed half the reservation change i.e. they had cancelled my original booking, but never rebooked me for the new date. Thankfully there were two rooms left and they were able to book me in the lady was very apologetic.
That aside, everything was lovely.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel Doolin is a wonderful spot to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious!
- sue (10/5): Comfortable room, friendly staff, great breakfast - Had a great time, clean and modern, central location, friendly staff
- Guy (10/5): Fantastic Local Music - Hotel Doolin is located in center of town with fantastic pubs and local talent playing. Rooms were fantastic and service was wonderful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Almost Perfect - This hotel is ALMOST perfect... The only downside is that the beds are horribly uncomfortable :( the rest of the accommodations were great and it was awesome having a pub and all other services right there. The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming... Wish the beds would've been more comfy- that's our only complaint.
