- V (1/5): it doesn’t fit for star category as the facilities provided is not worth for the amount charged. - Nothing Last week I checked in 2 rooms with my small kids / elderly mom & vacated within 5 hrs after check-in since hot water / shower was not working in both the rooms even after complaining immediately after check-in & the bathrooms are unsavoury which spoiled my entire trip and caused lot of mental agony to my entire family. After my worst experience I went through all the reviews posted by other customers since last 3 or 4 years, almost all the below mentioned issues I too faced which is grieved by most of the customers in the past 3 years…. · Hot water is not coming & Shower is not working & Bathrooms are unsavoury. · Room is noisy & there is no sound proof & could hear everything outside. · Balcony is not usable since AC outdoor is placed. · Photos shown in booking websites are not matching with the real since it is morphed. · Forcing the customer to change the room in case of any issues in the provided room. · Receptionist doesn’t understand / speak English. · Hotel locality is not upto the mark & Taj view is not there since this hotel is far away from Taj Mahal. · Overall this hotel requires renovation & sure it doesn’t fit for star category as the facilities provided is not worth for the amount charged. For all the concerns raised by the customers, their CR very cleverly apologies with honey coated words & smartly giving a false commitment that all the concerns will be addressed in future. Knowing all these facts thru the past customer reviews, I felt I have been purposely cheated by the hotel. Hence I claimed for refund my amount back because I vacated both the rooms in less than 5 hrs as we couldn’t use the bathrooms at all since the temperature outside is in minus and hot water not coming. But the saddest part is so far nobody even responded or apologized for the serious concern raised by a genuine customer. So am strongly recommending not to waste your time & money booking room in this hotel.

The biggest highlight of this hotel is its proximity to the Taj Mahal — it’s just a short walk away, which made our visit incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The hotel staff were very warm, courteous, and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with modern amenities. We especially appreciated the view of the Taj Mahal from the property, which added a magical touch to our visit. The food served at the hotel was delicious, with a good variety to suit both kids and adults. The service at the restaurant was prompt and friendly. Overall, we had a pleasant and memorable stay at Foxoso Taj View. It’s a great choice for families visiting Agra, especially if you’re planning to explore the Taj Mahal. Highly recommended!

Was a bit tired and in need of updating, but what do you expect when you pay so little for the room! - Jurgen (9/5): Good and clean hotel with friendly staff! - The staff (especially Mahi and Shyam), the view on the taj mahal, the cleanliness and the extra services such as leaving luggage behind after checkout. Free water and tea and good ventilates and aircondioned rooms. Nothing, we even came back after our second hotel did not seem to exist and third hotel was very dirty. So it was the best we could get for a reasonable price. There was no other hotels we slept in in Agra.

We had to be moved to 3 different rooms . The shower didn’t work . When we complained from the security guard to the doorman cook corner and everyone was sent to listen to our complaints about the shower but nothing was done . These people were preparing food at the entrance of the hotel for a wedding party .

The rooms of good size. The staff was very eager and imposing for writing a good review which was very irritating. There was no hot water available in the bathroom and the TV was not working. - Vahida (2/5): Save your money and look elsewhere!!! - We expected a lot seeing all the great reviews but we were incredibly disappointed with our experience at Foxoso. The room is not noise proof at all. Terribe isolation. We can hear literally everything in the corridor. Couldnt sleep all night due to the sounds and noises in the corridor and neighboring rooms. No hairdryer is available in the hotel. The hot water is available only in the mornings 5-9 am and 6-10:30 pm. During other hours, it needs to be requested at the reception which is pretty inconvenient. Once requested they bring the water to your room in a bucket. The sofas look new on the photos but in reality are pretty worn down. The room we stayed in had a window facing the elevator in the corridor with constant light coming in the room even during night. For sleepers who like complete darkness, it's really terrible. Also, the curtain is so light that you can maybe even see through it from the outside. Room was not clean, especially the restroom. Last but not the least, AC doesn't work and there was no remote control for it. Best advice, save your money and get a different hotel. It's too pricey for what it offers (nothing)!

Had to request one. Hotel location was not easy to find. Local cab/auto drivers had trouble finding the hotel. My colleague was locked in his bathroom due to faulty latch.

The handles on the cupboard were broken. The staff made me wait 3 hours for an iron to be delivered to my room and still didn’t send it across after repeated requests. I couldn’t get hot water, thankfully I had to spend only one night!

Wilson kindly helped us to find a bus to Varanasi and helped with the booking. Mahi, the lady at Reception was also very helpful. Restaurant very clean and breakfast was good. Distance to Taj Mahal’s West Gate was about 6 mins in a tuk tuk so location was pretty good. Our room was great but it just needed a fridge. Downstairs needs a bar or a comfortable place to relax.

- My (1/5): Pictures are far from reality - Breakfast looked good, but not sure about the hygiene Upon entrance to the room there were flies everywhere, everything is so damp, the bathroom was wholly rusted, making it looked dirty (it was probably dirty too). The bedsheets were dirty. I was scared to touch anything because it looked very dirty. When we were checking out, the reception asked us how was our stay and we said that the rooms were very dirty, they just nodded and with smile asked us for review (proves the level of their English)

Refused to accept their own advertising on booking.com that the breakfast was included with the room until shown the booking confirmation. Sometimes connecting, most times not. The property was undergoing refurbishment and hence was lacking in cleanliness. The initial room we were given was dusty and hence I had to request a change of room. The water pressure from the shower was not as strong and needs to be worked on. Until their refurbishment is completed I believe that their charge is not worth experience of the property.

I had an incredible experience staying at Foxoso Taj View Hotel in Agra. The prime location, just 1.5 km away from the Taj Mahal, made my trip truly special. Waking up to the stunning view of the Taj Mahal from my room and the rooftop was a dream come true. The breakfast and food at the hotel were delightful, offering a variety of delicious options. The luxury feel of the hotel, with its beautiful white and golden interior, added a touch of elegance to my stay. The service was impeccable, making me feel welcomed and pampered throughout my visit. - Verified traveler (2/5): - Hotel was not that clean and neat as shown in the website... Bathroom was not hygienic at all... Worst thing was that salty water... We even could not have a shower in it... Staff was not polite.. and moreover expensive

- Miguel (4/5): Low cost staty in Agra - Not a very good experience. No hot water from 22.30 to 5.30. Towels were completely wet. Wall was in a really bad state. It was not very clean as well and staff were kind but were always waiting for tip and sometimes they were rude asking for it. I really understand that this is India and their salaries are really low so they really need tips but I would prefer to pay a bit more so they have better salaries and not be annoyed all the times about tips and commissions.

Bathrooms were filthy, room was smelly and dirty, staff tried to triple price of booking for train and mosquitos were more permanent than the air conditioning. Don’t trust positive reviews on this place.
