• Wolfgang (5/5): Es gibt schönere und bessere Unterkünfte in Nafplios - Die Stadt Nafplios ist sehr schön Die Zimmer im EG haben keine Sicht, man schaut auf einen Rohbau (Bilder passen schon lange nicht mehr). Zimmer hellhörig, da neben Haustür und Frühstück für alle Gäste direkt vor dem Zimmer . Bad zu klein, alt und mit Schimmel . Frühstück nichts für Vegetarier, nichts Frisches, kein Obst. Hausbesitzer sitzt auf der Terrasse und Zigarettenrauch zieht ins Zimmer und zudem nicht freundlich. Wegbeschreibung zum Haus teilweise falsche Koordinaten.

La vue est absolument magnifique. Le lieu , bien que dans la ville (tout en haut)est super calme. Nous y retournerons! Non, tout était parfait. Par contre, je ne recommanderais pas cet endroit pour des personnes ayant des problèmes de mobilité.

• jinny2003 (8/5): - The location is great, the property is tucked underneath the fortress and just one flight of stairs away from the beach or the town centre. Breakfast is very generous. The hosts are friendly and helpful. If you're after something more modern you might be disappointed. The house itself is on the older side, but that's the charm of it.

• vincent (8/5): - Nous avions une chambre avec un petit balcon et vue sur la mer, superbe. Le petit déjeuner est servi sur une terrasse vue mer fort agréable. L'hôtel est très bien placé sur les hauteurs de la ville, au calme et tout peut se faire à pied depuis l'hôtel. Pour se garer pas de souci vers le port, 7-8 mn à pied de l'hôtel. La déco peut être un peu vieillotte mais c'est un détail.

Nao posso deixar de elogiar nominalmente a atenção e cordialidade da Georgias, sempre prestativa, O veiculo nao vai até o local, mas não considero problema.

• Summer (5/5): Only accessible by foot, dangerous bath - The view Parking is a nightmare. We knew the hotel was high on the cliff but we did not realize it was only accessible by foot. You have the park about 7 mins away and drag your luggage up a rocky, extremely uneven surface path to get to the hotel. Once we arrived, the family greeted us, but that's about all. Hello and here is your room. The room was underwhelming g with only one plug to use. The shower was very slippery and extremely difficult and dare I say dangerous to get in and out of. We were only staying 1 night so we sucked it up, but if our stay would have been longer, we would forfeited or money and stayed somewhere else. Everything about it seemed difficult.

• James (10/5): Unique location - Beautiful decoration and a beautiful location. Unique decor. And a lovely Old Town feel. I liked the fact that you had to walk to this house about 150 m from the parking area and about 200 steps up from the Old Town. George was a wonderful host. You have to park and walk through the through the castle walls to get to the house. The name is clearly posted on the building in carved into marble. It was a little bit difficult to find so read the instructions carefully.

• Kenneth (9/5): Nice room with a terrific view - We had a large spacious room with a balcony view overlooking the town and harbour. Great location! You’ll have to pay close attention to Google Maps if you’re driving, as the last 100 meters has to be travelled walking. Don’t use Apple Maps or you’ll end up in a completely opposite side of town.

• Konstantinos (10/5): - Everything was great. We loved the room, the breakfast and the people working there. Since it is the highest house in the old town, it is not a good idea to bring a baby in a stroller.

La anfitriona facilita todo lo posible y es muy amable Me parece que la casa tiene demasiado contenido, demasiadas lámparas, objetos, sillas... si se quitara la mitad sería mucho más cómoda. Aún así, es una casa magnífica.

• John (9/5): Charming house high on hill with views of old town and the sea. - Charming hosts, lovely location with view over the town and the sea. Great breakfast on the terrace. The description of the location and signposting was not adequate. There is no vehicle access. You need to park by a derilict hotel and walk down a narrow alley. Charming when you know where it is. Very frustrating late at night with no clue about where to go. Google maps does not work well enough.

• Karolina (7/5): We had a lovely stay but some improvements would make it even better! - Beautiful views from the property! The place has its charm. Really rustic, we loved it! Beautiful picture spot. A little secluded, quiet. The towels were not changed after the first night (even the ones from the floor). The bathroom mat was reusable, not sure how clean. The bedding was just a thin sheet and a blanket that we weren’t sure how clean was. Missing a duvet cover. Breakfast wasn’t good, mostly bread and no vegetables. Tiring to get back from the town centre due to 200 stairs.

• Michael-Job (9/5): Toller Ausblick über Nafplio in wunderschönen alten Zimmern - Wir waren zu viert für 2 Nächte dort und hatten zwei der oberen Zimmer mit jeweils Balkonen mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Frühstück ist gut und die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind altmodisch und wunderschön. Ein Zimmer hatte ein Bad mit Fenster und man konnte morgens im Sonnenschein duschen. Restaurants sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss haben keinen Ausblick und ich würde daher die oberen empfehlen. Eines der Badezimmer hatte leider kein Fenster und war daher etwas bedrückend, aber so ist es halt in einem alten Gebäude.
• German (8/5): It was a good place for a short stay for the price range. - It is a nice place to stay with a sea view and car parking within a short walk. The room is spacious with a sitting area. Breakfast is OK, but mostly bread. The mattress and pillows are uncomfortable. The chairs are uncomfortable as well. TV in the wrong place to be watched other than from a bed. The bathroom is a little outdated.

• Laurette (9/5): Authentic Greek pension with excellent hilltop views from private decks. - The pension is just below the castle in the old town, up high on a hill, which was the appeal for us. We had backpacks so we managed the many old steps quite well (taxi if you have suitcases). Wonderful view of sea, town and port from our upper floor private deck. So peaceful! Option to have breakfast on our deck was nice. Overall nice, more traditional experience, in a beautiful quiet little city. Only minor improvement would be to add some fruit and yogurt to the breakfast, and less bread items.

• kenneth (3/5): - It was up and down 150 steps to the old town. This was not mentioned in the room description or booking.com description. Not a problem if you are young and able but as two elderly people with some mobility issues it was just not an option for us. The owner was totally indifferent to our predicament and as a result we had to book another room down in the main part of nafplio. Overall we lost 320euro by having to rebook. Like the owner booking. com were also indifferent and never replied to any of my emails.
