On site restaurant was good French cuisine but expensive. Not sure there is anything else nearby. , but we enjoyed it and would definitely stop off here again.

La piscine est très agréable et offre un agréable moment de détente en fin de journée. J'aurais mis 5 étoiles si la chambre n'avait pas été si sombre, éclairée avec des ampoules de 15 watt.

- CELINE (8/5): La simplicité dans un joli cadre ! - Le propriétaire fait preuve d attention, le couple réserve un accueil simple mais bon . Une belle rénovation du domaine , beau jardin ou il a fait bon se relaxer le soir venu avec de l’air . L établissement est propre, les chambres et la piscine également . Petit bémol sur la décoration hétéroclite, l’inconfort du lit double, pas de climatisation ni de ventilateur au 1 er étage, quel dommage ! La canicule ayant sévit le jour de notre arrivée , il est vrai que la chaleur était difficilement supportable la nuit dans cette chambre familiale . Table attenante au Domaine de bonne qualité et le service sympathique ! Ne pas hésiter à s’arrêter pour une soirée étape !

Le second lit double était un peu haut et terriblement mou ce qui a rendu la nuit agitée pour les enfants. Mais à part ça rien à redire: lieu, service et petit déjeuner superbes.

- Gustavo (10/5): Lindo Hotel Tranquilo - Muy lindo lugar, las habitaciones amplias, limpias, calidad precio bien. Lugar tranquilo. Los encargados muy amable, si tengo que criticar algo es que no saben idiomas, ni ingles ni español, pero se preocupan por solucionar. El desayuno es de pago aparte (9 eur) pero bueno. En el restaurante se come muy bien, no es barato, pero muy bueno.

Nice courtyard and nice French style breakfast. Friendly staff and easy parking. Just a few minutes from the toll road so easy to go back on the next day. Quiet and room had Wifi and A/C
- Paul (8/5): Convenient hotel for where we wanted to be - We last stayed 15 years ago and there have been good changes unde new management who seem keen on the up market image. Apparently booked for weekend weddings almost continuously. Restaurant is in same building run as a separate business and is equally up market - a bit expensive - but very good in an area not full of good alternatives. Convenient for what we wanted or for business in Niort or for exploring the Marais Poitevin wetland and wildlife area.

- chambers (10/5): Excellent hotel - First time at this hotel, booked three superior rooms with the family for an overnight stay, and all Rooms were first class, staff very helpful and friendly, it would have been more helpful if we spoke more French. Rooms were very clean and spacious, breakfast has a good choice and very well presented. The grounds are pleasant with seating area to relax, wish we had more time to enjoy the swimming pool, we all had a evening meal in the restaurant, the food was presented first class and cooked to order, children made very welcome and would stay here again.

A really beautiful Domaine and we wished we could have appreciated it more. I would recommend it to anyone.
- sandra (8/5): Convenient to main road, without traffic noise. - converted chateau in large grounds, great for our dog. excellent restaurant quality food, staff very pleasant. English speaking limited, but adequate. only negative is that we had a first floor room when a ground floor with a dog would have been better for us. There was some work going on around the hotel, looked like they were renovating part of it, but we did not hear any noise. Would definitely return.
