• Minzhe (9/5): Pleasant stay with great breakfast - Excellent breakfast and overall good service. We even got upgraded to a bigger room due to Booking.com’s Genius status. The owner helped us organize laundry service which was done overnight. If you’re a light sleeper, this hotel might be a bit too noisy because you can really hear everything from the hallway. Also because of the way the rooms are designed (bathroom with glass door), the light from the hallway is visible from the room.
• Fernández Cedeño (8/5): Normal - El desayuno estuvo muy bueno El único detalle es que en la habitación en la noche, habían como unos bichitos que parece se metían por la puerta que da a la terraza. Eso le molestó un poco especialmente a mi pareja.

• DANIELA (8/5): Nice peaceful place near town surranded by nature - The location was incredibly convenient, with a beautiful view of the volcano. Surrounded by lush greenery and a variety of birds, we could hear and see monkeys in the mornings, which made the whole place feel so peaceful. The room was basic but comfortable, with a clean space and a very comfortable bed. We had booked a double room but were given a twin instead. When we asked about it, we were told the double room was smaller, so this was supposedly the better option. The bathroom had a spacious walk-in shower, with shower gel and shampoo provided (though no conditioner). There is no door to separate bathroom from bedroom. just a glass door for the toilet ( no much privacy ) There is also a nice-sized pool, and guests are given lovely soft, colourful towels to use. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a great variety of options including eggs, cereals, pastries, fruit, and more. The lady serving breakfast gives eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc. in small portions, but don’t hesitate to ask for more! Bathroom and bedroom are connected with no door .. there is only a glass door that separate the toilet ( so no much privacy ). Room was not new and I was told by the lady at reception that they don’t allocate the new rooms to people who book via booking.com

• Georg (9/5): Tolle Aufenthalt mit Blick auf Vulkan - Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, mit einer großen Terrasse, mit direktem Blick auf einem Baum, an dem sich jeden Abend Tukane versammelten. Auch den Arenal konnten wir sehen. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß mit einem tollen Badezimmer. Der Pool war ganz in Ordnung mit bequemen liegen und Stühlen. Wir hatten ein tolles Frühstück in einem Bereich neben der Lobby. Nicht besonders gefallen haben uns die Gebäude und die duschen neben dem Pool.
• Vander Sluis (8/5): - The manager and staff were very helpful. There is a restaurant directly across the road from the hotel. Breakfasts were good in an open-air dining area surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. The rooms had balconies with either mountain or garden views. Without a car, Eco Arenal was just a bit too far from the town center and easy to access restaurants. The rooms were somewhat spartan, we had to buy coffee for the coffee maker and the coffee cups were made of plastic which was stained from use.

• Tyler (10/5): Would definitely stay here again - Staff was very helpful and accommodating! Mary’s BBQ right across the road was great for an evening cocktail and dinner. Staff there were very friendly also. Hotel had beautifully landscaped grounds with tons of flowers and a stream running through the back. We saw a big family of howler monkeys going by in the trees. Breakfast had lots of choices. Fresh fruit. Fresh squeezed OJ. Perfect view of the volcano from our breakfast table No complaints

El personal de limpieza empieza muy temprano su ronda por las habitaciones, lo cual genera mucho ruido si uno quiere descansar y dormir hasta tarde. Además entran sin avisar sin saber si uno está ahí, y en las puertas de las habitaciones no cuentan con el seguro interno.

Wij kregen huisje 104. Ruime en schone kamer en badkamer. Klein terrasje ervoor met een zitje en (buiten) een koelkast. Airco slim geplaatst, komt alleen traag op gang. Bed is lekker stevig en fijne kussens. Wifi werkt prima. TV en kluisje aanwezig. Grote zitbank, waar je evt ook de koffers kwijt kunt. Groot zwembad met ligstoelen aanwezig, maar is erg gedateerd. Gratis badlakens bij de receptie. Ontbijtbuffet is zeer uitgebreid in gezellig ingericht restaurant. Helaas een douchegordijn. Het interieur is toe aan renovatie. Geen sfeerverlichting. Gordijnen sluiten niet zo goed af. Gedateerd zwembad.
• Rosenthal (9/5): A beautiful location, away from the tacky touristy center of La Fortuna - Everything was close together, it was across the street from a decent restaurant, it was a five minute drive to the middle of La Fortuna. The property is covered with beautiful flowers and plants. It has a pool. The food for breakfast was delicious. And the people and the service in the front desk were exceptional. Nothing that I can think of.

Seul l’emplacement et la piscine semblent être la raison du nombre d’étoile. À ne pas recommander

The restaurant was also very pleasant in a garden setting. Breakfast was fabulous. It would have been nice to have complimentary coffee in the room so we could make a drink.

Freddy was especially accommodating—he went out of his way to help us book a couple of tours and even prepared a boxed lunch for our departure. Breakfast was excellent, and the pancakes were absolutely amazing.

Family friendly environment, good breakfast. nice large clean room with private bath and shower and the outside grounds are very nature oriented and peaceful. Tivemos azar de estar nublado e não conseguir ver, mas o hotel tem vista para o vulcão arenal.

Balcony views allowed us to hear and be submerged with nature itself with howler monkeys close enough and can be heard morning and night. Excursions and restaurants are close by and made it convenient.

• Rachel (9/5): Beautiful stay a short drive from town - Beautiful grounds including a pool and creek with monkeys in the trees. Birds and flowers everywhere! Breakfast was good too. It was right across the street from a restaurant, which was really helpful when I arrived exhausted and hungry. But the rest of town was a short drive away. The white fluorescent lights in the room were really strong and there weren't any softer options. There were large tour groups staying here sometimes making noise leaving really early in the morning. These were very minor points to deal with though!

We received a warm welcome and they accommodated our needs. The sounds of the river and the birds was also very relaxing. There was nothing we didn’t like.
• Min (10/5): Family Experience in Paradise - We were warmly welcomed and treated with utmost courtesy and professionalism in this unique and beautiful resort. We were a family of 4 and stayed for 3 nights in Feb 2025. The resort was like a garden itself, very cozy and homely and also very safe and secure. This is the best place to stay, where downtown and even many tourist activities are only 1km away. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Management is super nice and helpful. They scheduled all our tours and even our daughter received a surprise birthday present for her birthday! Breakfast is really good with local specialties that my entire family loved. Would really recommend for all to stay here!
