The breakfast could be better: the waffles were tasty with a variety of jams. But if you offered scrambled eggs or omelet with sausages it would have been perfect

Fresh cookies every day was a homerun for our son, our room was perfect, and the location of the resort is amazing. We could walk to downtown in 1 block and the beach in 4! no notes - loved it here!

The hot is very close to the shops and walking distance to the beach. We are definitely coming back. It's not that we did like it, but I would recommend and better breakfast. Everything was full of sugar or carbs. I would suggest more protein such as eggs, bacon, sausage, etc. More gluten free options and diabetes friendly

• Mike (10/5): A Gem at Seaside - We loved that it was close enough to the beach that we could walk to the boardwalk and back within minutes, but not too close to be crowded. we loved our view of the river and the amenities were perfect, the little park was a nice touch, our 3 year old enjoyed playing there and the fire pits were a nice touch, my family especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub, I thought it was thoughtful to have towels right before you walk in to the pool area. The staff was sooo nice and accommodating, very polite and respectful. They even had DVDs you could borrow to watch in your room! We watched Hot Tub Time Machine. Over all my wife and I were very impressed and it was a nice surprise how nice it was even being further from the beach. Would stay here again and again. Thank you If I had any complaints at all it would only be that the parking lot was a bit tight, not a big deal in the scheme of things but noticeable.

They did get it fixed and the kids could swim. There were no kid channels on the TV but the DVDs did mostly entertain the kids when needed relax time

The breakfast they had was the best thing about the hotel. They know how to feed their guest ! Our room seemed to be cleaned but missed being vacuumed and the hvac system was a little weird to work through. The bed was comfortable enough and it was great for us to be able to have our dogs with us.
