Guest Reviews
- Rohit (9/5): - Very helpful staff, great location, enjoyed the breakfast Wifi was super slow and somewhat erratic
- Yvonne (8/5): OK place. - Nicely furnished and spacey apartment including a breakfast table.
Windows and balcony shaded by trees, which is actually a good thing.
Good bathroom. Well located in a good part of the town. Stuff was very friendly. some of the surfaces in the dining area were quite dusty. Likewise the breakfast menu. Some of the curtains were dirty. I actually did not like to get the breakfast in the room. The pool was not functional and partly dirty.
- Inna (9/5): Will definitely consider for my next visit to Bangalore - The place is overall great: neat and specious room, friendly staff, superb central location in a quiet neighborhood, hot water 24/7. The breakfast (European ooriin) was good for the 4 nights I stayed but if you plan on a longer stay, it may get boring. Despite daily cleaning, the floor turned out very dirty when I did my packing on the night before departure and spent a couple of hours barefoot.
- rb (1/5): Hotel management rejected my stay without reason from this i am very uncomfortable, don’t do like th -
- Matt (2/5): bad - Breakfast & location were good My visa & MC american were not accepted
I had to pay full cash amount up front,
The toilet was leaking, hot water turned off
Pradeep at the FD was rude & unhelpful
Mr Vigbert was good
- Vinodh (9/5): Superb -
- Arindam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayanta (6/5): Average place - Location and staff Run down, needs refurbishment. Poor breakfast
- Abhirup (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arjun (7/5): Attitude or reception staff made an otherwise good stay into an ordinary one . - Rooms very very spacious and well laid out. The location was good . Room service was very good. Breakfast was good. Hardly anything available to eat other than breakfast . This is just a service apartment meant for stay and one needs to take care of food outside and moreover they don’t allow staff to procure food from Neighboring restaurants either. Too many power disruptions . Specific rules being followed are primitive and inflexible .
- Ashok (8/5): value for money place - neat, clean and spacious room. staff very courteous. breakfast through not buffet was tasty and of sufficient quantity no great view but was there for a night and view was not important
- Sophie (8/5): Very good - Very good location, close to MG street. It's quiet at night. The rooms are big and very clean. The breakfast was good. Staff is friendly. Service offered is limited.
- Ruchi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sivaram (9/5): Worth the money - Location, facilties, service, focus on detail, attentiveness, value for money A little more focus on quality of toilet accessories
- Amit (1/5): Bad -
- Hideaki (8/5): Very good -
- Hideaki (8/5): Very good -
- Gurmeet (9/5): Superb -
- Jesluck (9/5): Superb -
- Hideaki (8/5): Very good - Cleanliness and enough big room size Bed was small and I fallen down.
- Vijay (1/5): Very bad experience - Location is the only attraction of this hotel Front Desk Staff behavior
Front desk Staff very was rude to guest. To meet my son in our room they said that as per hotel policy hotel cannot permit ANYONE from outside in the room, even if we proved that he is my son. One more thing, the receptionist said that paying Rs 1000 to hotel then the guest can enter the room or he can stay. Finally we forced to pay the amount to meet son the room only to greet us, after sometime son left the hotel.
- Domnic (6/5): Pleasant - Only the friendly staff No proper indian restaurants nearby
- Darshak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vladimir (10/5): Best staff in India - We liked the hotel. The best one so far in India. It is more like a serviced appartment than a hotel room. The only thing that there is no kitchen in the apartment.
The stuff is most helpful from what we have encountered so far. They bring all your packages and deliveries to your room, they do cleaning every day, and they are just very polite and helpful. The managers are also very helpful and friendly.
We have stayed there for 2 weeks and then extended the stay for 4 weeks more (they made a generous ~25% discount for the length of the stay).
The hotel is very close to city center, MG Road, Cubbon Park, etc. But the hotel is on Brunton road, a small district near MG road that consists mostly of small Europe-like private houses, and some office buildings, lots of greenery and trees around. So it looks like quite a peaceful place while it is just < 1 km from MG road with tons of traffic and busy city life.
The breakfast is served well, and is included in the room price. There is no mess hall for breakfast, you just order items from a small breakfast menu: eggs, toasts, north India style parotas and subzi, south India style idli, dosa, and sambar. The swimming pool is available but it is somewhat small and water was quite cold.
Seems like the cook comes from North India, so Northern items are good in the breakfast menu while South India cuisine is mediocre.
- Kaushik (8/5): Very good -
- Surajit (8/5): Very good -
- Abdul (8/5): Overall, the stay at Brunton Heights was impressive and memorable. - The location of the property. The breakfast served in the room was very simple but excellent in terms of service and taste. They had provided ample number of water bottles. The shower was very impressive. They should provide space in the hotel for the breakfast rather than serving in the room.
- Dhanraj (9/5): Enjoyed the stay and quietness. Will opt for the same place on my next visit. - Great Location, Serene Surroundings, Exceptional Wi-Fi connectivity, Clean room and courteous staff. Mr Yogaraj Adka, handled my checkin and check out smoothly and to my satisfaction. The room service was slow. Lack of a restaurant. Lack of a hair dryer in the room.
- Angela (8/5): Sofa yes but no sofabed - Very very clean space. Very polite friendly helpful staff. Very accommodating and understanding reception and management esp. MR. VINYAS AND MR.UMESH. Bfast is very simple but good enough. Early checkin is counted extra half day. (Very reasonable rate.) Also we had to cut our stay short by one day and they easily complied with no issues.room space is like a studio apartment. Comfortable and spacious. Cute nice balcony.picture of swimming pool is misleading..but that's ok. The safe locker works well. They helped us how to operate. 1. There was no sofa bed as promised. When we asked for it, a mattress was brought and placed on the floor. With bedding.photos attached. 2. A/c leaks constantly, wetting our suitcases. Temp 20-25...still constant dripping. But cools well. 3. Monotonous bfast. Parathas not cooked. Only one dish per day in menu. If southindian that day is upma.n northindian onion paratha. Continental toast egg.no other choice and it repeats few days of the week.so free bfast included but not lavish with any option. 4 fridge is minibar and not much working condition.
- Atul (8/5): Nice clean place to stay near MG Road. Good if you are not bringing a car with you. - The breakfast was homely and adequate. It was served in the room as there is no common dining hall. The room was quite clean and decorated in a sober, tasteful manner with kalamkari paintings and good lighting. The suite had a bedroom and a living area. The staff put our extra mattress in the living area. There was a writing desk and the staff gave us a router with complimentary wifi.
The location is great. It is in a quiet and posh neighbourhood and close the MG Road, Garuda Mall and Hosmat Hospital. The hotel has almost no parking area. Two or three cars can be parked in front of the lobby in a narrow passage but they can only be removed one after the other.
- Ramesh (8/5): Very good -
- Praveen (9/5): Will come back - Excellent location, well maintained spacious & airy rooms with balcony and greeted by greenery all around as you step out. Overall satisfied and will come back again. Limited breakfast options as stated by many. However whatever provided though limited is good. You can use other food delivery apps should you want more options. Front office / reception will have them delivered to the room
- Sujit (7/5): Comfortable - The location was very central Upkeep
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Centrally located but in a quiet, green lane. Stayed during the monsoons so the pillows were a little musty - but otherwise the room was fine.
- George (6/5): Good proximity to MG road, clean hotel - The hotel was a great option to stay in the city on the cheap. Breakfast was delivered to the room and was made to order, the hotel staff ordered a taxi and helped negotiate a decent price. The location was close to MG road and a short Rikshaw ride from the Commercial street market area. The room was clean and simple. If you are looking for cleanliness, good location, and helpful staff - this is a good choice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): lack of facilities - I wouldn't stay again in this hotel due to lack of basic facilities, there is no restaurant within the hotel, had a pathetic break fast in the room. I found it very strange when I ask for a extra glass and they could not provide it as they did not have the same.
