La habitación maravillosa, es espaciosa, con vista al lago. El hotel dispone de te y café y agua de cortesia en la habitación El personal del hotel super simpáticos, saben muy bien cuando conversar contigo y cuando darte tu espacio. Responden consultas, te ayudan a organizar tu viaje. Una experiencia de lujo Agregaría un perchero o algo similar en la terraza para poner a secar los traje de baño Por otro lado, como el hotel está en una zona "alejada", a unos 20 minutos de Flores, no es sencillo salir y volver, por ejemplo a comprar, nosotros pensamos en este hotel como "un retiro", y funciona bien así.

The room was exceptional, with beautiful attention to detail and lovely toiletries that made it feel extra special. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and every member of staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The complimentary monkey tour on the hotel’s boat was an unforgettable experience and the perfect finishing touch to an amazing stay. Very knowledgeable of the food and had great recommendations. They even went out of their way to make sure our impulsive toddler had her food out first so that she would not be waiting too long. if you want to leave the property you need to arrange transportation unless you drove yourself. It's not truly a negative because if you did your research and planned to be in this resort once you are here it's so beautiful people only really left to go to specific tours which could also be arranged by the hotel.

- Liz (10/5): Fabulous in every way. - Our second visit and still wonderful. The setting in the jungle on a lake is beautul. Staff are brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. The food is really good - quality ingredients, well presented without being fussy. A white heron regularly visited us - the photo is our room view. Perfect location for visiting Tikal. We also went to Uaxactun, which was a bit of an adventure with an excellent driver/guide sourced by the hotel. Las Lagunas is so good, it spoils us for anywhere else! The room lighting is a bit dark.

- Darren (10/5): Luxurious and relaxing with superior, personal service - We really enjoyed our stay at Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel. The main purpose of our trip was to visit El Mirador, so we had 1 full day for that and another full day to relax at Las Lagunas. It is in a secluded location that is very peaceful and relaxing, although keep in mind that it's about 20 minutes from Flores. Our room was extremely nice - plenty of space, well laid out with a large bathroom area, laguna-facing "deck" with a jacuzzi. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was excellent and not overly expensive. The room price was a little on the pricey side, but considering that includes breakfast, a boat tour of the laguna, bicycles, and kayaks, we thought it was worth it for such a high-end hotel. Staff, service, facilities, but specially the room with our private jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful lagoon and fresh coffee in the morning. Also, the complimentary boat tour to the monkey island every morning was a plus! Just a suggestion for improvement: the bathrooms at the restaurant are not marked ‘ladies’ and ‘gentlemen’ what caused a bit of a confusion. Also, after a group arrived the bathrooms were not looking as proper as they should. In addition the beautiful Maya pieces in the museum deserve more explanation than only the general one we encountered.

La chambre était merveilleuse avec ses baies vitrées en quasi immersion totale sur le lac et la nature, des lits ultra confortables, la piscine à débordement avec cette même vue idyllique et apaisante, le restaurant avec son énorme baie vitrée ouverte façon panoramique. Le tout avec un personnel ultra gentil et accueillant, assez peu de monde à cette période (nous avions souvent la piscine pour nous seuls). Une expérience incroyable ! Peut-être donner la possibilité de fermer complètement la salle d'eau dans la chambre

- Martial (10/5): Si le paradis existe, il doit ressembler à cela - L’emplacement sur la lagune, la gentillesse du personnel, les habitations (chalets individuels) avec vue sur la lagune, la sérénité qui règne sur ce lieux Peut être un peu isolé de tout (15 à 20 minutes en voiture de Flores) mais c’est probablement le prix à payer pour gagner en tranquillité
- Clodoaldo R (10/5): - Exceptional!!! This hotel has exceeded all my expectations. Located at a very beautiful piece of land with nice surrenders and breathtaking views. Very beautiful and eco-friendly installations. Rooms are very quiet, spacious and cery private, with very comfortable beds. Staff members are super stars! Very friendly and professional, always willing to help. It serves a gorgeous breakfast that is included in the price. Its restaurant offers a very delicious menu. Its museum has an incredible private collection of pre- Columbian artifacts. A week could be expended easily, by taking all the private tours offered by this hotel to other places of interest in the area. You won't regret staying in this hotel. Highly recommended it!!!

I wish our television would have worked while we were there as we were unable to use our Netflix app as foreigners. Simple extra touches like turn down service, a working television would have made our experience 5 stars.

- De (10/5): Best Hotel in Guatemala - The hotel mixed luxury and jungle life perfectly. The hotel is well designed with lagoon front villas, overlooking amazing views. The staff was incredibly nice and very kind. The food was also great! A little bit pricey but worth every penny. That I had to leave that amazing place. If I ever go back, it will only be to return to Las Lagunas boutique hotel. Simply amazing.

- Jill (10/5): - We spent a week-long family reunion at the lovely Las Lagunas Boutique Hotel. Each couple had a room with its own hot tub room overlooking the laguna, where we could enjoy the French press coffee provided each day. A delicious breakfast was included, and we could even order the night before if we had early morning activities planned the next day. The staff was phenomenal (shout out to Elmer, Alex, and Ovidio in particular). Some family members enjoyed a massage and spa day to start the vacation off right, and they loved it. The pool was lovely and much appreciated after the hot days of exploring Tikal, Flores, the animal rescue site, and monkey island. We had our own vehicle, so I can’t comment on the excursions organized by the hotel, though the staff did assist with local contacts for some of our outings. The only disappointment was the dinner menu, which could be a bit hit or miss. Except for that detail, the facilities met or exceeded our expectations, and we all had a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Thank you!

- Hui (10/5): - It’s a gated oasis between the airport and Tikal. Beautiful room with lake views. Jacuzzi is as lovely as expected. However the museum and the boat trip to see spider monkeys are above expectations. Quality of meals could be better for the price.

The service was very good at the restaurant and by the pool The only thing I did not like were the prices of services at the spa and laundry. $5 USD to wash a single pair of underwear. $120 for a massage less than 1 hour. I usually partake of these services but not this time. The pricing was disproportionately high given the relative cost of labor and other services. That was disappointing.

- Sarah (9/5): Worth the splurge. A gem of a property ✨️ - The staff are the biggest asset to this hotel. Effortlessly welcoming, helpful and attentive. Can't do enough for you but in a relaxed manner. The hotel has the most beautiful natural setting which is so very unique and relaxing. We loved the museum and taking a bike and kayak around the grounds. The pool is beautiful and often empty. Proximity to Tikal and Yaxha in addition to the airport is a bonus. The food was great if not a little limited if you have any restrictions.. see below. In our accommodation number 7 i felt we lacked privacy with proximity to the pool and being overlooked from the boathouse. When we stayed there, there were groundsmen working in front of our windows so felt the need to keep blinds closed. The jacuzzi deck would benefit from an additional blind or a better screening option from the pool. Overall, the accommodation was of a very high standard but there were a couple of issues. The toilet seat was ill fitted, the shower blind was broken and showing signs of mould. This is disappointing given the cost and standard of the property. The food is great, and the staff are attentive but had some issues being gluten intolerant. Not all staff are aware what this means and how to help you order. Would be great to have gluten free pasta options too.
