• Emil (5/5): Except the views overall disappointing - The location and view are great Except reception staff, nobody seems to speak English in this hotel. Apart from that the building is not very well maintained. Breakfast selection is laughably small, although there is someone who will make you an omelet or pancakes on request, if they can understand you. The quality of those is also debateable. The bar is unable to complete the easiest of requests. They were not even able to make an old-fashioned or a pine colada. All in all the restaurant food the place and the experience does not match the pictures whatsoever. I would not stay here again and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

• Anja (5/5): - Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick gebucht , aber eins bekommen mit Blick auf eine Steinmauer zur Straße hin . Uns wurde mitgeteilt, dass die Buchungen nach Reservierungsdatum zugeteilt werden . Wir waren sehr enttäuscht zumal die Zimmer nicht günstig sind und wir drei Nächte gebucht hatten . Das Personal ist stets bemüht ... wirkten oft gelangweilt auf mit wenig Freude .
• Sophie Carola (9/5): All in all, it’s a beautiful place to spend a few days by the sea. - We were warmly welcomed by Fabio, who took great care of all our needs throughout our entire stay. The room was a bit small, but the terrace made up for it — spacious and with a stunning view of the sea. The hotel and rooms are decorated with great taste. Breakfast is served on a breathtaking terrace with a direct sea view. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors. The breakfast selection is extensive and has something for everyone. At the hotel’s private stone beach, guests are greeted with great friendliness. The beach itself offers a wonderful view. The pool area is very cozy and perfectly equipped — nothing is missing. The only downside: if you don’t bring your own beach towel, you have to rent one for €5 per towel. In most hotels, these are usually provided free of charge.

• Paul (8/5): The perfect place to relax, unwind and enjoy the views. - La Casa Ell Mare, is a beautiful and peaceful hotel, situated in a quiet secluded location, where you can relax and really enjoy the lovely climate that Mattinata has to offer. The staff at La Casa Ell Mare were welcoming, friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had an enjoyable stay. The restaurant is positioned on a lovely terrace overlooking the bay and offers an incredible vista of the town and cliffs. It is a truly lovely place to stay if you just want to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. The private beach is rather small and very pebbly. This meant that sun loungers are positioned very close together. If you end up next to a smoker or a noisy neighbour, that can ruin your day. There are very limited options in the immediate area for anyone looking for activities or adventures.

• Erika (9/5): azoknak javasoljuk,akik pihenni szeretnének - Nagyon elégedettek voltunk az étteremmel. Minden esetben tökéletes volt a vacsora. Hangulatos az étterem terasza,teljes tengeri panorámával. Saját stranddal rendelkezik a szálloda,nem érdemes elmenni a legközelebbi városi strandra sem. Köves a tengerpartja,mint ezen a partszakaszon mindenhol,ettől nagyon tiszta a víz. Gyalogosan elég nehéz elérni bármilyen külsős étteremet vagy vásárlási lehetőséget. Mindenképpen autó kell hozzá. Minket ez nem zavart,tökéletesen tudtunk pihenni. Későn foglaltunk szállást,ezért már csak a hátsó szobákból tudtunk foglalni. Nagy terasszal rendelkezik a szoba,de nincs kilátás. A "seaside" szobák foglalását javasoljuk.

• Leandro (7/5): Great location, okay service, a little pricey for what it is, but would still recommend - La Casa e Il Mare is located on a really nice spot and has an incredible view. It's comfortable, convenient and we had a great time. It also includes a pool which was very refreshing as the sea was a bit warm and there were quite a few jellyfish. The breakfast was alright, generally good selection; there is an eggs station, baked goods, fresh fruits, and fresh focaccia, however, we stayed there 5 days and it got quite tiring to eat the same stuff over and over again. We would just recommend switching it up some days for more variety.
• ANTONIO (8/5): Soggiorno sereno e tranquillo! - Direttamente sul mare, ma lo stesso è difficile da praticare. Necessarie le scarpette. Comoda la piscina, abbastanza pulita e poco frequentata. Atmosfera piacevole e tranquilla. Colazione buona, in particolare l'angolo del Casaro e della frutta. Nella norma anche l'angolo dei dolci. Tutto a buffet. Cappuccino e caffè serviti al tavolo. Buono il ristorante, con prezzi sopra la media. Personale gentile e disponibile! Anche se non vi è alcuna comunicazione in camera sui prezzi, l'acqua fornita tutte le mattine in frigo, due bottigliette da 500 ml, non è di cortesia. Vi costerà euro 5,00 al giorno. Alcuni inconvenienti con le somme da pagare extra a fine soggiorno. Vi è stato l'addebito di diverse consumazioni a noi non appartenenti e anche se immediatamente estrapolate, su contestazione, diverse perplessità sono rimaste. In ogni caso apprezzata la disponibilità alla cancellazione degli addebiti errati!

• Olivera (8/5): - Der Blick beim Frühstück ist unvergesslich, Strand direkt vor der Tür und zwei Pools wo man sich abkühlen kann. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Parkplatz direkt beim Hotel Frühstück sehr monoton, aber ausreichend Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man hört jede Toilettenspülung in der Nacht vom Nachbarn nebenan/ oben :/ 20€ pro Nacht für den Hund fand ich ein bisschen übertrieben, da diesen nichts geboten wird, wie eventuell in anderen Hotels (Näpfe, goodies, oder sowas ähnliches)
• Sebastian (8/5): Not something we expected for the money and advertised location - Somehow remote location, private beach, not very crowded. There is also a pool if you like it more. - noisy rooms, you can hear the shower and toilet usage from the next room - AC is directly pointed to the bed - the bathroom does not have a solid door, there are swinging doors you can even see the person in the bathroom through big holes - too expensive restaurant and bar for the menu and atmosphere provided. There is the possibility to eat at some nearby terraces (5-7 min walk), however they are very crowded, right on the crowded public beach, reservation is needed. - poor breakfast in our opinion in case of a longer stay, however might be good enough for others (probably not for lactose intolerants): fruits, milk and cereals, bread, various types of cheese, one type ham, patisserie sweets. There is one person which is preparing scrambled eggs on request.

L’hôtel est luxueux mais les prestations du personnel ne sont - L’emplacement, la vue, la piscine, la plage privée et la décoration de l’hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est aussi plutôt sympas On a eut vraiment du mal à se sentir à l’aise. Certaines personnes de la réception sont très hautaines et le restaurant on l’a fait une fois pas deux, sûrement qu’on est tombée sur le mauvais jour mais malheureusement pour eux c’était le jour le plus important, j’avais réservé un mois à l’avance pour cette table qu’on a pas eut, c’était l’anniversaire de ma copine, je l’avais bien précisé mais pas prit en compte malheureusement je regrette de ne pas être partie comme je le voulais initialement. Je me réjouissais tellement de se restaurant en vu des photos mais LOL rien à voir et surtout si vous voulez être considérer faut boire de l’alcool ce qui n’est pas mon cas, donc pas de bouteille sur la table donc très largement mise de côté je trouve ça aberrant. Les chambres sont magnifiques mais extrêmement mal isolé et microscopique balcon si vous prenez une chambre standard vu sur mer, coussin 25cm d’épaisseur très inconfortable…

The breakfast seating was limited and its food choice was the same during our stay.

Nice rooms with amazing view over the Med. One of the best places we’ve stayed at. A minor issue - the Aircon unit was a bit noisy and either too cold or not cold enough.

Perfect combination of location, accommodation and food (there is a fantastic restaurant/bar embedded in the hotel which offers plates based on local products). Gorgeous breakfast! Ideal place for resting and taking a break from your daily routine.

There is a bar that serves sandwiches, drinks and other snacks and a restaurant with good tasty food. The beach is very nice and private. I would definitely come back.
