• Tiffany (10/5): A little gem , spotless, tasty breakfast, quality beds and modern facilities - Absolutely spotless. Quality furnishings , obviously a well cared for hotel . Owner has put his heart and soul into making a quality hotel. Warm and the most comfortable bed. I was on my own as a single young woman attending a driving course. The owner would ask if there was anything I needed even when he went to the shops . I felt safe and cared for which put my parents mind at rest as I had no knowledge of the area. Everything about the property was great , if I had to find a fault I would say the other hotels around were not kept as spotless outside as this one was.

• Julian (9/5): A great place to stay - The room was small but had everything I needed, including a good sized tv, tea and coffee, USB sockets etc. The shower was very good. It was spotlessly clean throughout. The cooked breakfast was quite small but well cooked and tasty. It's close to the seafront with a bus stop nearby, and about 20 minutes' walk from the Tower. It was all good!

• ROBERTS (10/5): Another fabulous stay - Fabulous host who is warm friendly and helpful Simon goes the Extra mile to meet guest's needs . Communication between the owner Simon and guest's outstanding. The Castleton provides attractive spotlessly clean comfy warm rooms individually decorated. This was our second visit and it definitely felt as if we were family returning home to a lovely safe place to stay. Cooked to oder beautiful breakfast with plenty of choice and catering to individual dietary needs. Fabulous location and free onstreet parking Nothing

• Carly (10/5): Perfect for a weekend stay - Simon was very welcoming and greeted us upon arrival and showed us to our room straight away. He even offered us a parking space out the back should we have needed it. The room had all the facilities we needed and everything was colour coordinated too which we thought was a lovely touch. Breakfast was perfect and ended the weekend perfectly. Thank you :)
• Thomas (10/5): - We had room 6 for 4.of us 2 adults , 2 children. Parking nearby at the football stadium £16 for 24.hours. Hotel was very clean and well looked after, and located very near to the sea front. Blackpool needs more authentic guest houses / hotels like this! Nothing

• Lizzie (10/5): Had a lovely time and stay, would definitely stay again and recommend to others! - Great location with parking outside and right next to the beach front. Lovely and clean inside with cosy Cosy clean room, everything you need for a nice and comfortable stay. The bed was really comfy and the room was lovely and warm. The breakfast was lovely and a nice selection of drinks with the English breakfast and toast and cereal if you wanted. Great host, very friendly and helpful. Very welcoming when we arrived and throughout the stay. Had a lovely time and stay, would definitely stay again and recommend to others! Only thing I could mark down is the view from the bedroom window wasn’t good, however that didn’t affect our stay.

Room was a little smaller than im used to but was perfectly lovely! Walls to adjoining hotel seem a little thin, or the people next door were VERY loud, but that's no fault of this property.

• Debbie (8/5): Lovely weekday trip away. - Liked the cleanliness the most. Fresh clean room. Hot Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Little advice, though, maybe add some fruit, little bananas, and apples even? for the kids, especially. Oh, and maybe some black pudding, too? Otherwise, it was great! Friendly owner, too. Not the owners fault, but from the rooms on the top floors, you could hear everything the other room next to you was doing. It was a bit embarrassing at breakfast after hearing each other pee and talk. The bed was too soft for me, but again, it was not the owners fault. As it's a preference.
• Christopher (10/5): Good job - Hotel was clean, the rooms were spotless and comfortable and spacious, the breakfast was lovely. Great value for money, and your bang in the thick of Blackpool. Would highly recommend Nothing, the parking situation wasn't the greatest but that's not the hotels fault at all, because you knew beforehand before booking, there was parking spaces on the street tho.

I had a kettle with unlimited tea, coffee, etc in my room, as well as a tv, an Alexa, and plenty of electrical points around the room, so I could charge my iPad, phone etc. Breakfast on a morning was good, with Simon our host making a cooked breakfast, and I was able to help myself to toast, cereal, tea, coffee, and juice. Simon was a lovely man, very helpful, such a gracious host. Would definitely stay here again. There wasn't anything about my stay I didn't like.

You can't fault this B&B and was exactly what I was hoping for, so clean and Simon was an excellent host, the breakfast in the morning was excellent.

• Alex (9/5): Great value for money - Room had what was needed: a comfy bed, tea and coffee facility, also had smart TV with amazon prime and Netflix if you wished to log in and use it. Alexa on the side also if needed. Bathroom big enough, shower bit pokey but worked very well and got warm quickly. Decorated nice. Breakfast was good, friendly owner This goes for pretty much every hotel in the area is lack of free parking but that's not hotels fault.

• Sharon (10/5): It was amazing stay start to finish! - Everything was 10/10 nothing was too much. Highly recommend! It was nice it had an Alexa in the room it was nice! It was the right size to accommodate my stay. Breakfast was great. Everything was spot nothing bad to say! Although most hotels don’t supply enough milk for teas and coffee but not a hassle to get extra.
• Blue Peter (8/5): Excellent value for money - Simon was an exemplary host, invariably friendly, helpful and eager to please. While the decor was a little dated, my room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and plenty of storage space. Breakfast consisted of a simple but expertly cooked breakfast and small selection of bread and cereals. In summary, my stay represented excellent value for money and one I would happily repeat should I return for the Rebellion music festival in future. As said, the decor might benefit from an update. Also, the range of breads and cereals could be expanded somewhat with some thought perhaps given to relocating the self-service breakfast items so as to avoid congestion. That said, these are no more than minor gripes given the overwhelming positives.
