• Yohei (10/5): 必要十分のリーズナブル快適旅！ - 京都の宿泊費が高い中、とてもリーズナブルに宿泊でき、近隣の観光地や繁華街にも手軽に行けて、京都を楽しめた。 また、ゲストハウスなので、シャワー、トイレ、キッチンと共用であり、歴史の長いゲストハウスなので、全て使用感はあるが清潔に掃除されていると感じた。 また京都にきた際は、利用させてもらうと思う。

• Caroline (5/5): Für entspannte Budgetreisende - Gute Lage. Preisleistungsverhältnis in Ordnung. Schließfach. Hat den Bildern an irgendeinem Punkt entsprochen. Allerdings ist alles verwohnt und abgenutzt.

• Thorstein (8/5): Nice hostle in the Gion area - The pod were nice with two outlets. The shower and wash rooms facilities are plentiful and clean. There were a karaoke event the last light I were there in the Cafe part at the 1. floor. Nice and easy check in and out. The kitchen area is a bit crammed but usable.

Very dependent on what bunk you have I was at the end on the 4th floor and was extremely cramped getting in and out. Would appreciate a keycard or something as someone could walk off of the street into your bed if they wanted

• Iraklis (2/5): Very bad smell, very dirty, unreasonable expensive than way better hostels - Maybe location For half their price there are capsule hostels in kyoto and Tokyo whose common facilities are like 5 star hotel. They change sheets and towels. With 2/3 of Santiago price. The whole building totally stinks sth very bad specially the dormitory room which is awful smelly for so many ppl a little window and not for both rooms. The sheets were not even places on the bed on the first day.Again that was the most expensive hostel The entire taste is super bad and smell and bad maintenance on everything, equipment is very poor, And that was the most expensive hostel, they are definitely far away from Japanese quality of other hostels
• JI (8/5): - 청수사 바로 옆이고 가와라마치 걸어서 15분 정도 거리로 매우 가까움. 위치는 매우좋음. 잠자리가 매우 협소함. 이거 빼고는 단점이 크게 없다고 생각함.
• Hampton (3/5): Great location- that’s about it. - The location was good for accessing Kiyomizu-dera Temple and the Gion District and the price was cheap considering other hostels. After 3 days and 2 nights the staff didn’t clean the common area once (dining and sitting area, restrooms, showers or sinks). The beds were moderately comfortable. What I really disliked: My friend who was staying at the hostel with me had a last minute change of plans and couldn’t stay the first night and would arrive the following morning. Because of this, the staff made me pay a fee. I asked if my friend could pay when he arrived the next day and they told me that it had to be paid now. When I asked what the fee was for, they said it’s because “it would be confusing for the staff” if he arrived without checking in…? This makes absolutely no sense. Maybe it was a misunderstanding, but the whole situation was super odd. Not a great experience with the staff- feel like I got scammed.

• RIE (7/5): 格安だったので許容範囲 - ロケーションの割に料金が格安でスタッフの対応も良かった 2階のベッドの天井が解放だったので いびきやビニールを触る音が筒抜けで響き渡っていたのと 室内の明かりが明るすぎてぐっすり眠れなかったが 24時間使えるロビーにベッドタイプのソファーがあったので、早朝にそちらに移動して仮眠できたので良かった

• Hidekazu (7/5): - 立地か良い、銭湯も近くに複数あって良かった。 カプセルみたいなベッドルームだけど、広さは十分だった。個人的には長期でも快適に過ごせる。 利用者の使い方が雑な感じがする。これはどうしようもないかな。ゲストハウス側には責任ない話かな。3連泊したけど、3日目はなぜか、体がかゆくなった。ダニがおったんちゃうかな。中々寝れなかった。

• yui (5/5): 近清水寺but房間滿冷的不適合冬天 ❄️ - 距離清水寺步行就可到。 淋浴間蠻舒服的，也乾淨，有熱水很溫暖。也有吹風機跟很大的鏡子🪞。 廚房有熱水瓶，可以煮熱水 一樓像是咖啡廳 晚上沒營業可在一樓休息，空間很大很舒服，有暖氣比較溫暖。（房間裡太冷了） 一樓進門有消毒酒精，衛生好。 Staffs are friendly 房內🛏️太冷了，暖氣空調不夠，睡不著。 Slippers inside you have changed are used, not clean and sanitized at all. Rooms are above third floor. No elevator.

• Victor (8/5): Good for temple hikes - Very close to lots of temples I got the worst bed a person could get. It was on the 4th floor and all the way at the end of the room. I only had 30cm between the box and the wall and still had to climb in the ladder

• Charlotte (5/5): Nice staff but not the most transit accessible or close to downtown core. - Located near good restaurants and convenience stores. Nice to have laundry easily accessbile. Location was ~20 minute walk from transit and a little further to the core downtown. It is in close proximity to Kiyomizu-Dera which is nice but is a very busy and touristed area. Facilities did not feel very clean.
• Alexandra (3/5): I know it was peak season in Kyoto, but for 40€ a night I at least expect clean bathrooms. There were hairs all over the - The location in Higashiyama is convenient for sightseeing It was not clean, there was no sufficient ventilation in the dormitory
• Harrison (7/5): - For a bed to stay in this place is good to stay in. It is near some of the temples and nice tourist locations. The proeprty is not near any major transport hubs, it is a long walk or bus ride back to the main station and the busses are commonly completely full when you get on them. The bathrooms during my stay were not very clean and the showers were only located on 1 of 4 floors. The floor to get back up to my room was very uncomfortable to walk on.

• IZUMI (10/5): 安く京都に滞在するなら最高。 - ロケーションは最高。観光の中心地に近く、バス停も近くてかなり便利。 なのにこのお値段は本当にありがたい。 チェックイン前、チェックイン後、どちらも荷物を預かっていただけてこれもありがたかったです。 建物自体が真新しいわけではないので、古びた感じがする場所もありますが、清潔にしていただいているので不快感は全くありません。

El colchón (aunque sea de los finos) ha sido bastante cómodo en comparación con otros hostel que estuve. Los espacios comunes, baños y duchas olían siempre mal, y estaban siempre sucios. Al igual que las habitaciones nunca olían bien o eran ventiladas. Las cortinas de las camas no tapaban por completo, por lo que podías sentir poca intimidad. Muy incomodo que las duchas esten en el piso de mas abajo. Deja mucho que desear la limpieza. Es el único hostel de los que he ido hasta ahora en que no brindan toallas sin costo.

• Laura (3/5): - Personnel plutôt agréable Emplacement à quelques minutes à pied du vieux Kyoto - malgré certains commentaires, non le personnel de la guest house n'est pas disponible 24/7. Plutôt de 8h à 00h. Attention a l'heure à laquelle vous arrivez - Espaces communs très petits, ne comptez pas cuisiner à 3 en même temps - gros point noir : la chambre. Si vous avez de la chance, votre lit sera dans le box du dessous. Si vous êtes au dessus, vous aurez une superbe vue sur la moisissure au plafond, vous profiterez aussi de la lumière de tous tes voisins. Si vous êtes en dessous de la climatisation, vous allez mourir de froid, sinon mourir de chaud.. Des travaux devraient être à prévoir ! Bon courage si vous souhaitez toujours y aller, sinon passez votre chemin

The facilities were uncomfortable, and the property suffered from a severe lack of maintenance, including noticeable unpleasant odors in common areas. While the staff and location are strong positives, the comfort and hygiene issues need immediate attention to make this hostel recommendable.
