- Matthew (10/5): Warm and welcoming stay - We stayed here while taking my son to start university, and it honestly made a big difference to what was quite an emotional trip. Katie was so friendly and thoughtful, keeping in touch during our long 8-hour drive and making our late arrival stress-free. She even suggested places still serving food, which really helped after a tiring day. Breakfast was lovely, served by such cheerful staff, and the whole place felt warm and welcoming. The location was ideal, with shops and restaurants just a short walk away. It felt like we were looked after the whole time, the perfect start to a new chapter for our family.

Katie is a marvellous host and Lugo Rock is a beautiful seaside place to stay with a quick walk to both the beach and the town centre. We loved it! Our family room was fantastic with two separate spaces with an interconnecting door. Breakfast was delicious and full English or any combination of was preordered each night. The dining room was welcoming and Trish, another lovely member of staff, was cheerful serving breakfast each day and giving advice about places to visit around and about. Would highly recommend Lugo Rock

- Paul (10/5): - I visited Falmouth 12th July for the first time and selected Lugo Rock from the online reviews, to stay. There is room to park your car on site, 3 minutes walk from the beach (with a bar, restaurant and shops). About 8 minutes walk into the heart of Falmouth and the river/marina/museum/boat trips/shops and bar-restaurants. The first thing at Lugo Rock was the welcome by Katie, who was very friendly, helpful and made me feel comfortable having arrived after a long journey. The room had everything you needed and a comfotable bed and sitting area. Some may not like the pre breakfast form, but I found it easy and very appropriate. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices like cereals and fruit before your cooked meal. The staff could mit help enough in making you feel you have had a good start to the day. I found this to be a worthwhile place to book when visiting Falmouth centre, especially the owners. Paul C

- Peter (10/5): Lovely B&B - We enjoyed our stay very much. The B&B was about a 3 minute walk from the beach and 6 minutes walk from the train station. About a 15 minute walk to the beginning of the town. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our room was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the well stocked coffee and tea facilities in the room and the daily “treats” that we found when we came back to the room after being out for the day. Sachets of body/ hair wash were supplied as well. Generous breakfast. Parking for guests. We would definitely stay again!

We arrived really late at night due to a lorry fire on the M5 and Katie was so incredibly helpful about it, including letting us have a later breakfast than normal. The room was spotlessly clean and everything refreshed daily. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked exactly how you want it, with a wide variety of cereals (including gluten free) and fruit as well. The hotel was quiet, and well located for a stroll into town or to the beach. We would recommend Lugo Rock to everyone!

Katie was a welcoming host who made us feel at home and Trisha provided a fantastic breakfast, with plenty of choice. The beach, with a great cafe, was just a couple of minutes walk away. We would definitely stay again!

- Macey (6/5): - Our room was very clean and we felt very at home- the beds were very comfortable and the shower was lovely. However, the breakfast did lack, we ordered room service and received the wrong order and the woman who brought it to our door was very rude and spoke under her breath when we didn’t answer the door the first time- as we were still asleep from our 6 hour journey the day before. The breakfast itself wasn’t great, quite dry and the eggs and toast were cold- not great when you pay for the breakfast in the price but found a lovely cafe just down the road from the b&b so wasn’t the end of the world. The parking was okay, quite cramped and had a random broken football goal taking up one of the spaces??? Very odd. But overall the landscape and room itself were great, lovely B&B right next to the sea and shops only a 5 minute or so walk, very convenient.

- Chriso (10/5): - Lovely bed and breakfast Hosts were extremely friendly Room was quiet and very comfortable Breakfast choices were great Location was good as we arrived by train which Was less than a 10 minute walk away Walk into town 10-15 minutes walk away Gylly beach 3 minutes walk I would definitely book to stay here again One of the nicest places I’ve stayed in for a long time
- Siobhan (10/5): Great location and comfortable accommodation. - We really enjoyed our stay at Lugo House. Katie and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, delicious breakfast. Location is superb; 2 minutes walk to the beach and a fabulous beach cafe. Thank you Siobhan and Gabby.
- sarah (10/5): Amazing room and well located - Katie and her team were amazing. Lugo Rock is well located and close to walks around the Cornish coast. Lugo Rock also helped us out with their laundry service ( which was very reasonably priced) as we ended up seriously muddy on one of the coastal walks. Breakfast was also delicious and varied. Would definitely come back when we are down here again.

Breakfasts were great, plenty of choice, hot food options, full English or choice of items cooked to order. Room was well presented and spacious, extra heaters provided to make stay comfortable. Would recommend staying here.

- Vicki (8/5): - Lugo rock is a great option for a base whilst visiting Falmouth and beyond. The free parking is a bonus if you come by car but the train station is just down the road. Lugo rock is 2 mins from the beach and 5-10 min walk from the town so extremely convenient. Katie and her staff are welcoming and attentive. We had a great stay here
- Evangeline (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back. The staff were so friendly and helpful, Katie was brilliant in checking up on us to make sure everything was okay. The room was so clean and had a lovely view.
- Margery (10/5): - Very nice friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Excellent location for beach and town. Only tiny, minor comment would be that fresh coffee for breakfast rather than instant would be a lot better.
- Jeanne-Michelle (10/5): - Great for access to beach, near to parks, coast path, local convenience store for picnic provisions. Comfy lounge and outdoor seating area. Liked the ' tick box' choices for breakfast selection, vegan options. Welcoming atmosphere, great hosts, met several return guests. Would definitely stay here again.

There was a good choice for breakfast and the service was both friendly and professional. Great location, with beach only a few minutes walk away plus, easy access to both the harbour area and town centre. We had a great couple of days at the Lugo Rock Hotel .

- Bev (10/5): Lovely place would definitely recommend - Lovely warm welcome, spacious room, lovely comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and the owners really couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was ordered the night before each day, which isn’t for everyone but we were fine with it, the food was excellent quality and perfectly cooked, served at your chosen time with a smile. Rooms were serviced every day, the only problem we had was a couple of hiccups with the shower which was checked out the same day and advice given. Would definitely recommend the lugo rock to others and would stay here again, A two minute walk to the beach, ten minutes to station and town. It is at the top of a hill so maybe if you aren’t so mobile it might not suit, although they do have downstairs rooms and guest parking if you need it. They also have a lovely guest lounge and outdoor terrace you can use, and access to a fridge if you need it.
