• Christine (7/5): Wem Enge nichts ausmacht... - Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage sehr ruhig im Grünen! Nette Gastgeber! Es gab eigentlich auch nicht sehr viel zu bemängeln, bis auf die Größe des Zimmers und die fehlenden normalen Fenster. Es gibt Dachfenster, aber man kann nirgendwo hinaus sehen. Am schwierigsten sind die kleinen Zimmer, in die man keine Koffer mit hinein nehmen kann. D.h. man muss die Koffer im Auto lassen und die Einzelteile mit ins Zimmer nehmen.......

• Harry (10/5): Warm, welcoming and relaxing! - Great location with a very friendly host, amazing views and just far enough from Balloch to let you feel like your in your own wee pocket of silence. Nothing regarding the property but we cycled there and the hill in front of the property killed us lol. Be sure to have a car that can handle a decent hill or be fit enough to walk up. The views on the way are definitely worth it.
• lyndon (10/5): Used.as a base to travel and visit the southern highlands. Great place to stay. - Breakfast was great, the host couldn't be more accomodating. Lovely area to stay in. We went late in the season and it was great, I bet in summer months the area is absolutely beautiful. Only minor complaint is the state of the road up to the property....it's definitely a rough ride.

Breakfast was excellent, Leslie was really flexible and helpful making sure you had whatever you needed. The surrounds were beautiful and the farm itself gives you plenty of space for pets as well (although we didn't have one). We loved the quiet. Could have used more cupboard space for our clothes. The shower lacked power. But everything was still ok.

We were travelling with a kid and her super frinedly dog was perfect. Breakfast, room cleanliness, location was all great. It close to most tourist attraction in and around Loch Lomond.

• Alexandra (8/5): - Emplacement au calme, avec une vue sur le Loch Lomond et pas très loin de Balloch. Facile d'aller à Glasgow en voiture également (le train est aussi une possibilité). Hôte accueillante et très sympa. Beaucoup d'espace extérieur pour se promener autour du logement. Parking disponible et gratuit. Petit déjeuner très bon, fait maison et servi dans la chambre. De plus, un petit déjeuner frais est aussi disponible dans la chambre, avec du lait, jus, céréales, fruits, etc. Lit confortable et chambre propre et bien équipée. La chambre n'a que des fenêtres de toit, parfois difficile de les ouvrir et les fermer, de même pour les stores. Le chemin d'accès au logement depuis la route principale est en très mauvais état. Il faut faire très attention et rouler au pas.

• Sharon (10/5): Excellent luxurious B&B - Excellent B&B where Lesley, the host, has thought of everything to make a perfect and comfortable stay. The rooms were spotless and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast offering was superb and it was great being able to make your own continental breakfast. The rooms surrounded a quaint courtyard with plenty of seating inside and out. Would love to have explored the walk but sadly the weather did not allow. Thank you Lesley we loved it Nothing it was superb
• Zhiqing (9/5): Super lovely stay - This is a farm stay with our lovely host Lesley. She’s prompt at communication and prepares all you need for your stay. We love everything she offers for breakfast!!! There’s a lovely walking trial on the farm also. Bed is very comfortable and the room has lovely sky windows for you to enjoy nature from indoor. You have to drive to get there. The drive way to the farm is a bit narrow and bumpy uphill drive and you want to make sure your car is able to go through bumpy muddy road.

Das Frühstück ist gut und die Vermieterin ist freundlich Das Zimmer ist sehr klein. Weder Koffer noch Tasche können untergebracht werden und da im Zimmer gefrühstückt wird, gibt es keine Ablagemöglichkeiten. Wir waren auf unserer Tour in 4 B&B jeweils 3 Nächte. Dieses war das teuerste mit dem wenigsten Komfort. Die Zufahrt ist eine Katastrophe. Tiefer gelegte Auto‘s kommen dort nicht hoch.

• Csaba (10/5): Excellent stay in this very private farm house - one can see Loch Lomond from the property - Beautiful farm, with a huge area of lawn ideal for resting after hours of hiking. The host Lesley was wonderful, she cooked and hand delivered our delicious breakfast every morning! She even welcomed us with a bottle of wine! The farm is very quiet, very well kept, it has a huge private parking area. One can actually see Loch Lomond from the property. We spent three nights there and visited lots of surrounding areas like Stirling Castle, Loch Katrine. Nothing.

The room was lovely, the bed was super comfortable, the location was dreamy and the host was so thoughtful and catered to our every need. She was helpful with ideas for places to visit nearby as well. The view from the hill above the property was amazing. The only thing we had difficulty with was regulating the temperature in the shower (maybe there is a knack to it) and the pressure was low.

• Zakia (10/5): An ideal countryside stay! - The Sheildaig Farm is the perfect homestay in the hills of Balloch surrounded by stunning nature. Located up a winding path, easy to get to by car/ taxi or a walk , you are in the midst of pure natural beauty. Enjoy the open skies, benches to sit outside with your coffee, a delicious breakfast by the host, well stocked up kitchenette with milk, sugar, coffee, cereal, bread, juice, biscuits, etc. Walk to the Balloch castle and back or take a cab to the Marina Duck Bay Restaurant on Loch Lomond or the balloch House. Take a cab to Luss which is only 15 minutes away and enjoy this thoroughly picturesque, safe and comfortable home.

• Maximilian (9/5): A beautiful stay - We stayed 2 nights at Sheildaig Farm, when exploring the area around Loch Lomond. The host was very friendly and we felt absolutely welcome. A delicious breakfast was brought directly to our room, which we enjoyed a lot. We were excited about the provided heater, which you can use reliably 24/7, so we were never cold, but warm and cozy. We enjoyed our stay and do absolutely recommend this Bed & Breakfast. You should probably be aware of the truely bumpy path up to the property. There are lots of potholes.
