- RAYMOND (9/5): Comfortable Old Charm B&B in a lovely part of Derbyshire. - Great place to stay in a nice quiet village just outside Chesterfield - met as we arrived by our host Graham and we loved the place for it's old world charm building with cosy comfortable rooms - Breakfast was fantastic and a great start to the day for exploring the local area - Lounge looked super comfy albeit we did not have time to take advantage of it with it's open fire & games facilities but other guests said it was lovely. Nothing of any importance

Their home is quite comfortable and cozy and they truly made us feel welcome and special. The property itself is wonderful and homey and the yard is delightful. They cook homemade breakfast which were a feast. Stay here!

- Alison (10/5): Warm welcome, every need met, and an interesting history to the place. We - It’s olde worlde feel with very interesting conservatory containing a vine planted in 1800.
Exposed beams in the bedroom, with a cosy window seat. However very comfortable with every need thought out and accounted for, even a night light in the bedroom!

Our room was small but comfortable with features matching the age of the property. Breakfast taken in the vine room were excellent with various choices. The pleasant guest lounge was comfortably furnished. Our hosts, Hillary and Graham, were warm and friendly. We would certainly use this B&B if staying in the area again.

The room was incredibly cozy, featuring a comfortable bed perfect for a good night’s sleep, and there was ample space to relax and take a leisurely walk.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was simply outstanding—delicious, abundant, and served in a bright, sunny, and very inviting dining area. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely pleasant stay.

- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - We had a lovely stay at Church Villa B&B with Hilary and Graham, who were very warm and welcoming, made delicious breakfasts in the morning and lovely fires and tea in the evening, and gave us lots of helpful tips for eating out and travel. We especially enjoyed the breakfast room where you can see the birds coming for their breakfast in the beautiful garden outside. We had a really excellent experience and will definitely try and come back!

A nice comfy bed and ample en-suite bathroom. The cooked breakfast was really good with homemade fresh bread!!! We will definitely stay again.

Take away food, shops etc not far away in next town. Accommodation extremely comfortable. Everything you could want has been thought of. Fridge available for milk etc. you can bring in own food to eat in dining room. Breakfast offers numerous choices and it all tastes good. Your own lounge to mix with others. Free access all day. Will highly recommend to others and will stay again if in area. Brilliant

The hosts were really helpful in helping me get around, lifts to train station and borrowing an ebike, and provided recommendations for local sites to visit. The hospitality was exceptional with a lovely communal sitting area with a log fire and delicious cooked breakfasts which would order the night before. n/a

Tea tray in room even had a gluten free option which is the first time dietary needs have been catered for ever and shows that the booking request was read and noted.. Having to leave.
