- Iris (10/5): - Wunderbares Hotel an bester Lage in der Altstadt. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit auf eine sympathische, natürliche Art, wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen! Das Zimmer war sehr schön gross mit grossen Fenstern zu einem absolut ruhigen, hübschen Innenhof. Alles war wunderbar sauber und die Dekoration im Zimmer und insgesamt im Hotel ist stimmungsvoll und ansprechend. Anfänglich hatte es keinen Wasserkocher im Zimmer. Nachdem wir bei der Rezeption danach gefragt hatten, wurde uns sofort ein ganzes Teeset inklusive Teekanne ins Zimmer gebracht. Das Bett war super bequem (nicht so hart, wie sonst üblich in Usbekistan). Wir können das Hotel Omar Khayyam sehr empfehlen und würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier buchen.

Resepsiyonda bulunan Niso Hanım var inanılmaz güler yüzlü yardımsever biri Bar kısmında bulunan aziz ne zaman bişey isteniz geciktirmeden samimiyetle getirmekte. Otel sahibi Kamal abi uçak ve tren ile alakalı yaşadığımız aksiliklerde o kadar yanımızda oldu ki tatil zehir olacakken keyifli hale geldi. İyi ki bu oteli tercih etmişiz. Buharaya turist olarak gelecekseniz bu otelden başkasını tercih etmeyin çünkü süreç boyunca destek istediğinizde bütün yardımseverliği ile yanınızda mükemmel bir ekip oluyor. Aldıkları parayı sonuna kadar hakeden bir yer. Kahvaltıda çeşit dolu doyurucu içecek imkanı fazla rahatsız olabileceğin zerre bişey yok hem samimiyet hem rahatlık hemde yardımseverlik arayanların tek adresi olmalı. Dank der Lage mitten in der Altstadt lässt sich die ganze Schönheit der historischen Stadt bequem zu Fuß erkunden. Das Hotel entspricht eindeutig 4 Sternen+ nach europäischen Standards, und das Personal, vom Gastgeber bis zur Reinigungskraft, ist überaus lobenswert. Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und wird individuell auf Ihre Wünsche abgestimmt. Wir können es uneingeschränkt !!! Сказать, что мы в восторге-это ничего не сказать. Прекрасно. Расположение на территории старого города позволяет вам увидеть собственными глазами всю красоту древнего города в шаговой доступности. Отель явно соответствует 4 звездам + по европейским меркам, а персонал от хозяина гостиницы до уборщицы выше всяких похвал. Прекрасный завтрак с учетом ваших пожеланий. Можем только советовать!!!

El personal es super amable en especial el dueño que nos ayudó a gestionar un tren que nos faltaba, nos dejó hacer check out más tarde, lo cual se agradece mucho para poder bañarse después de turistear y tener que viajar. La ubicación es ideal para recorrer todo lo histórico de Bukhara. El desayuno variado y muy bueno. Tiene una terraza linda para ver el amanecer o atardecer. - SHINYA (10/5): - シャーヒ・ズィンダ廟群の目の前にあります。入口までは歩いて１分程度。ビビハニム・モスクなども徒歩圏内。観光地巡りには便利です。ホテル自体も対応良し。このクラスのホテルでは珍しく、荷物を部屋まで持って行ってくれます。スタッフは英語が話せるのでコミュニケーションもOK。部屋は完全に独立した２部屋に分かれていて、なぜかトイレも２つ。一人利用でしたので持て余し気味でしたが清潔で快適でした。バスタブがあったのが一番の感激。日本人にはうれしい装備ですね。日本人の方は全く見かけませんでしたが、お勧めのホテルです。夜間にレギスタン広場周辺で食事をして、徒歩で戻りました。ホテルまでの道のりは暗いですが、治安の良さを感じました。

Manager, a very nice man, was always on site offering lots of useful assistance. Breakfasts were very good. Generous quantities of food and coffee. Rooms were large. Lots of hot water! Very good for independent travelers. No negatives.
- kamoly2015 (10/5): Perfect hotel - Perfect location, ideal. No need to walk far, just step out and that's it. Trading domes, medresses, mosques are around of you. Good rooms, with clean bathrooms. Connection of wifi is quite speedy. No words enough to describe personnel. We needed very early breakfast (most big hotels replace it with lunch boxes) and they did it. Hot dishes and coffee at 06.00 were so good, and we were grateful! I am passing my thanks to them again!

- Bunty8 (8/5): Lovely hotel in great location - Lovely hotel well situated in Bukhara, close to many of the attractions, bazaars and restaurants. We were fortunate to be allocated the appartment, which was lovely, huge sitting room and separate bedroom. It was clean and comfortable, windows overlooking courtyard and sitting room the street. Room also had a safe. No tea or coffee in room but you could get tea at reception in afternoon with some sweet treats. Hotel is in pedestrian area, it is therefore quiet, wifi was ok, but did drop out now and again. Breakfast was on lower floor, room was small, but you could eat at tables in courtyard if weather was fine. Thouroughly enjoyed our stay at the Omar Kayaam.

You couldn’t beat the location. There were only two other hotels also strategically located, although we were told ours was the better of the three. We had a room on the second floor, and the window looked into the courtyard with the aiwan (portico) since the hotel was a former rich merchant’s house. We were very impressed with the wallpaper used in the corridors and the guest room – they wouldn’t be out of place in a five star hotel in Europe. We were surprised that there was a tissue box, which we didn’t see elsewhere. The hotel was a family affair and the manager was a gracious senior lady who manned the front desk. They offered afternoon tea in the lobby, which was nice. They knew all the guests and they were always quick to open the door for us. We didn’t appreciate the weak wifi – we had to sit next to the window to get a signal, and that was the advice given by the office. Breakfast was in the lower ground. It was a big space. Food variety was okay but not impressive, except for their sweet breads.

- Rohema (10/5): Pleasant but......... - Great location and hotel had a nice fusion of local and modern style. The hotel had a faulty card machine resulting in having to withdraw cash to settle the bill. This meant having to go to a few different ATMs to withdraw cash as not all of them worked. This was not a pleasant experience especially as I was on a strict schedule. The staff mentioned this happens as the card reader is faulty. I saw other guests experience the same and would ask that they replace the card terminal to not inconvenience guests in the future.

Very polite and helpful staff of the hotel provided assistence as for programme, transportation as well as recomendations what to see in Bukhara. Comfortable rooms with high speed WI-FI. Extraordinary location directly in the center of the most attractive hostorical part of the town, --
- Pompea7 (10/5): Excellent choice - Excellent location, cozy rooms, clean in the middle of the center. Wide breakfast options. There are lots of interesting shops and restaurants just walking distance around. Friendly and professional stuff . Highly recommended !! Enjoy your time.

The owner is very friendly (ask him about the tortoises living in the courtyard, or the view from the roof - which could be a charming place for evening drinks with little effort). Rooms are huge. Show stalls is tiny. Balcony rooms are nicer. Breakfast is modest but still quite pleasant. Our room lacks the usual amenities and is severely lacking in electrical outlets (and no USB ports, which are expected nowadays). But very comfortable and quiet. Would definitely come back here

- mitzi-meow (8/5): Fantastic location, friendly staff - With spacious rooms and comfortable beds, the Omar Kayyam is comfortable if not luxurious. The location is to die for it's closeness to the bazaars snd the madrasses, but being in the pedestrian zone, is not accessible to the door by car. The bath it on the high side stepping in and out, and this plus the lack of an elevator makes it less suitable for visitors with mobility issues. This, however, is true for most of Uzbekistan... The breakfast is ample if uninspired.we could not control the temperature in the rooms ( even the room that had an a/c rather than a radiator did not have a remote control). We were very happy with the friendly staff, who on a cold day provided us with tea and sweets as we waited for a ride.

- Bro44 (8/5): Good Place to Stay - Stayed here for 2 nights while on a tour of Uzbekistan. It was well located. Near the main sights and just round the corner from the main madrasah and minaret with an evening light show that outdid Samarkand. My room was a good size with good a/c and a good bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good with a choice of eating inside or outside in the courtyard.

- Locharburn1767 (4/5): Not impressed although good location - The most positive things about this hotel is the size of its rooms and its location which is important in Bukhara. The facilities at the hotel are very basic although as mentioned the rooms are a good size and comfortable . We didn’t have hot water but that was not a big problem given it was over 40 degrees outside but it could be a problem in cold weather. The hotel offers a basic breakfast but no other food services were apparent . Weirdly the staff seemed to sleep in the foyer in the afternoons . Difficult to recommend this hotel despite its location . Overpriced and overrated .
- Nyeger (8/5): The best in Bukhara - I tried many hotels in Bukhara, and every time I found out that this hotel is the best. The rooms are big enough, but not too big. the staff is really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good comparing to other hotels in Uzbekistan. The hotel located in the center of the old town. An amazing area, especially if you are tourists. Only two small problems: 1) No access with car to the hotel. need to walk 200m 2) No have restaurant in the hotel, only breakfast.

The room was clean and very modern, with good amenities, strong AC (important, given very high temperatures outside), a nice (if someone deserted) lobby, good breakfasts, and excellent service. Location is fantastic; right near all the fascinating tourist sights and craft markets. Near great restaurants, good walking.
- VSPB-Singapore (8/5): Excellent location - The location of acco in Bukhara cannot be better than Omer Khayyam. It is right in the heart of the old city, within a couple of minutes of the main site of Kalom mosque and Golden minaret. The staff tries to help as much as possible but aren’t empowered much. The facilities however are closer to 3-star than the 4-star status it claims. Rooms are comfortable with good air conditioning and decent bathrooms, but not 4-star quality. There is no electric kettle in the room and we did not get one even when we asked. (The staff did provide us with hot water when we asked for it). No more than one room key card was given for a triple occupancy, again even after we asked. While there is free wifi, the password is valid only for 8 hours so you need to get a new token per device every morning and evening and change the password! Breakfast is average and esp for vegetarians, there was hardly anything to eat. Some simple additions like provision for toast or some nuts / sautéed veggies, it may have helped. Net - outstanding location, decent rooms, sub par facilities, well intentioned and helpful staff without much flexibility to help.
- DRNJ1960 (8/5): The location is the best! - Situated right in the middle of old Bukhara and steps from all the shops and mosques and madrassa this hotel is a nice choice. Simple yet clean rooms (some overlooking the tranquil courtyard) with a/c and wifi that is very good. Breakfast included and it is what you would expect when traveling thru Central Asia. Front desk staff are amazing - friendly and helpful at all hours. Laundry service is prompt and efficient. Highly recommended!
- 907herbertm (6/5): Good room, good location, but some issues with service, ac and food - I stayed at the Omar Khayyam Hotel while visiting Bukhara with a small tour group. The hotel is well located within walking distance of many sites, shopping and restaurants. Our hotel room was nice, and the hotel has a nice courtyard for relaxing and dining. But service was very mixed - most hotel employees spoke little English. I asked for help with the ac and different employees tried to help with no success and little communication. The room finally cooled down but it took many hours. The corridors were not cooled and were very hot; the lobby was cooled at some time and not others. Breakfast was served on the outside terrace - a nice setting, but a mediocre breakfast. We had one dinner at the hotel with our group, and it was mediocre as well. Service did not seem very professional in the hotel. A good room in a good location - it could be much more.
- Nevo (6/5): Reasonable hotel - The hotel located at the old city, but you can not arrive to the hotel by car and you need to walk a bit. The breakfast is standard in Uzbekistan terms. There is no restaurant, but you can find many restaurants around the hotel.
- Spencer (8/5): - Perfect location. Clean. Good service. One of the few quality locations to stay in the area.
