murai (8/5): - カッパドキア観光の中心地、ギョレメからは少し離れているので、交通が少し不便でした。ホテルは洞窟そのものでは有りませんが、部屋の作りは洞窟っぽく、とても広い部屋でした。お風呂はジャグジー付きで大きかったです。朝食も良かったですよ。

saba (10/5): - Çocuklu bir aile olarak gayet rahat ettik. Kahvaltı çok çeşitli ve yeterliydi. Banyolar, yataklar rahattı. Sessiz, sakin, nezih bir cave otel. Yöreye özgü bir yapısı var odaların, çok beğendik. Merkeze yürüyüş mesafesinde.

Manu (10/5): - I am not sure if this was a typical "cave" hotel -- but the rooms definitely had that kind of finishing and look and feel. The staff were very helpful and coordial. The lady at the reception (Fifi) definitely worth mentioning - coz she was a great assistance in arranging for stuff. While, the restaurent served average breakfast, the other meals were pretty scrumptous though. Overall a very pleasant stay, would definitely choose this hotel again.

Meysam (6/5): - Overall, I liked my stay, however, two major issues made me not satisfied for coming back here in future: 1) They say the rooms are "soundproofed", but you would hear every sound from other rooms and people talking in the communal areas. They don't have community standards to make the place quiet for others, at least after 11 pm or so. So anyone can make any noise in the communal areas without any timing restrictions. 2) The bedding was not comfortable as well.

A.R Zafer (10/5): Harika - Otele karşılama, oda, kahvaltı gayet iyi. Otelin konumu tüm kapadokyayı kolaylıkla gezmeye olanak sağlıyor. Akşam yemeğini aldığımız otelin restaurant yemekleri ve ambiyansıyla çok güzel. Resepsiyon görevlileri gezilecek yer önerileri ve aktiviteler konusunda çok yardımcılar. Tatili mükemmelleştirmek için ellerinden geleni yapıyorlar. Tüm ekibe teşekkürler. Tekrar geldiğimizde kalacağımız otel yine Dere Suites olacaktır.

Restaurant at hotel for dinner has a terrace with beautiful views and food was delicious. Big thanks to the restaurant manager and to Fifi!!!
mandy (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay at Dere Suites very much. I highly recommend this hotel for its castle-like design and beauty. The hotel offers a sweet home feel and the staff were extremely accommodating. You can easily stroll down the beautiful euro streets of Cappadocia while also enjoying many cafes and food. The hotel is closer to the local town and we found it quite peaceful and away from the tourist attractions while only being a few minutes away by car. Hope to return back soon, thank you Dere Suites for all you did!

İnternet ve wifi oda içerisinde problemli. Otoparkinda aracimizin lastik uzeri aksesuarlari calindi. Pozitif yanları guleryuzlu personel ve hayvan dostu. Lakin konaklama ücretinin karşılığı hizmet haricinde otel olarak aldığımı soyleyemem.

Gary (10/5): Stunning hotel - What an absolutely stunning hotel. Ali at reception was so helpful and friendly, along with all the other staff. Our room, breakfast and the views were perfect. We couldn’t fault anything and will definitely be returning and have already recommended to several friends we know in Antalya. Only downside, which is no fault of the hotel, other guests leaving at 4am for a balloon flight were very inconsiderate to the fact other guests were still sleeping and made a lot of noise while waiting for their transfers. Breakfast had a great choice of options so you will not be disappointed. Overall, great time at this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to experience Capadocia region.

Caroline (10/5): Een echte aanrader! Super! - Het hotel is super! We hadden een heel mooie kamer. `S ochtends is er een ontbijtbuffet. Dit is heel lekker en uitgebreid. Ook aten we in de avond in het bijhorende restaurant. Het was heel lekker en vers. Al het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk, maar in het bijzonder Sefa. Een echte aanrader als je in het hotel verblijft!

Otelin bünyesinde bulunan Lagarto Restoran ise gerçekten mükemmel yemekler çıkartıyor. Ara sıcağından tatlısına kadar her şey mükemmeldi. Personeller yine çok güleryüzlü insanlardı. Konumu, tasarımı vs. her şey yine oldukça iyi. Ben kız arkadaşımla birlikte 2 gün bu otelde kaldım ve kesinlikle gelmeyi düşünenlere tavsiye ediyorum.

Jacobo (10/5): Family trip to Cappadocia - This cave hotel was amazing. The room was very spacious for easily accommodating a family of 4. The staff are extremely helpful and the breakfast/restaurant had good food satisfying early mornings and late evenings.
Verified traveler (6/5): Odadaki tavanlardan üstünüze kum yağıyor - Kaldığımız odada tavanlardan kum dökülüyordu. Yatak tamamen kum içinde ve çok rahatsız edici. Banyodaki küvete sürekli olarak kum dökülüyor. Duştan kumlanmış olarak çıkıyorsunuz. Bavula durduğu yerde kum yağdığı için eşyalarda kum içinde kaldı. Restoranda da eleman eksiği var, masalara yetişmekte zorluk çekiliyor. Daha önce bu otelde farklı zamanlarda 2 kere kaldım, çok sevdiğim ve rahat ettiğim bir işletmeydi ancak bu sefer ciddi bir kalite farkı vardı.

Nous avions au préalable réservé directement un tour en montgolfière avec une compagnie sur internet. L’hôtel s’est proposé de tout coordonner pur s’assurer que nous n’ayons pas de problème. Allez-y sans risque.

Akşam yemeğini otelde yemeyi tercih ettik, aşırı lezzetli diyemem oldukça normal bir yemekti. Kahvaltının da lezzeti ve çeşitliliği fazla değildi. Onun dışında oldukça güzel bir tatik geçirdik.

We asked for other room options but was then told that they gave us that room because they were booked out for other rooms!

They organised the hot air balloon and red Cappadocia tour for us which made everything so hassle free. They showed us a few rooms to choose from to ensure we were happy with our selection. The room we chose was the cave style and it was so cool - very fitting to the Cappadocia theme. I highly recommend this place!

Verified traveler (8/5): - The location of the property is both a blessing and a curse.. Quite secluded but not much to do in Urgup, most of the life is in the geroeme. There is a great local market if you walk ten minutes past the down centre. The room was great, and Gamze was thankful in booking a hot air balloon tour for us and was an extremely welcoming host. However the tour for red valley (also booked through dere suites) was disappointing as the tour guide barely spoke English and kept repeating three facts throughout the 4 hours. We were grouped with mostly Turkish speaking crowd, so be ware and only book with agencies that have a track record. Generally a beautiful room and is seconds away from one of the best restaurants on top of the hotel, you Must try the poterrt kebob here, best value.

Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely Cave Rooms - Dere Suites is a lovely hotel. They upgraded our room on arrival. The room itself was very comfortable. I had expected a cave room to possibly feel a little claustrophobic or dank, but it was really charming and spacious. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. They helped us with many different arrangements: a tour guide one day, a last-minute car rental, and hiring a taxi. The location is walkable to downtown Urgup. In the morning they serve a delicious included breakfast buffet in the upstairs restaurant, Lagarto. We also ate there for dinner one night when we were tired and it was quite good. Added bonus: they have two cute dogs that hang out around the common grounds named Limon and Tarçen (Turkish for "Lemon" and "Cinnamon"). Highly recommended
Bharat (10/5): Amazing stay in cave hotel - We had an amazing time here. The rooms were quite spacious and luxurious. The views from the hotel are magnificent. You get the full view of the urgup town from the top. You can also view sunrise from the hotel. There are also 3 sweetest dogs on the premises. Definitely recommend.
Verified traveler (10/5): - The Dere Suites were a truly amazing and unique property that can be summed up as a vintage yet elegant hotel inside a cave. The room was tastefully decorated and well stocked up. All of the usual amenities were included, and a large number of comfortable pillows of varying densities. I was also met with a pleasant surprise on arrival, as my room had been upgraded to a suite equipped with a jacuzzi tub. Needless to say, I had an amazing night. My only regret was not staying here in Cappadocia a lot longer. Thank you Dere Suites! You guys were phenomenal and memorable. The Front Desk staff were beyond amazing!
Mrs. Jayashri (10/5): Amazing stay at Urgup - Dera Suites Ürgüp. I cannot recommend this enough. Beautiful suite carved in a cave, breathtaking views of caves & mountains, the best organic breakfast with local produce in a quaint restaurant, 5 min walk to “town” with cute little shops & the most helpful & friendly people. Mert and Gamzse were incredibly helpful as several of our flights were cancelled due to snow. Only con was wifi was a little patchy. Bonus was the hotel dog Limon who walked us into town & waited patiently outside each shop & then walked us back. Go try it!
Henry (10/5): Very nice hotel in an excellent location. - The whole experience was fantastic. From the very first moment we entered the hotel we felt relaxed and everyone was looking after us. The rooms (junior suite) were really nice and especially in the hot summer weather it was nice to come back to a 'cool cave'. There are enough areas in the hotel to hang out and relax in the evening and the restaurant was good with perfect views over the town. Downtown (5 minutes’ walk) there is plenty to see, but it was not too touristy which was great.
Sib (10/5): What an experience!!! - I stayed in this hotel with my family. The amazing staff upgraded us to the King Suite and it exceeded all expectations. The room was unlike anything we've seen before. Staying in an actual cave is a MUST when visiting Cappaddocia! The facilities were great and room was quite clean and spacious. The only problem we encountered was the room got a little hot during the night but the staff were able to provide us with a fan to quickly address that. The morning buffet was a perfect selection of what you would expect to see at a Turkish breakfast and enjoying it over a beautiful view of Urgup only elevated our experience.

Verified traveler (6/5): So much potential, but got the little things wrong - Cappadocia was an amazing place, but this place had some negatives. The rates varied based on the specific room you chose on the site. We arrived and the room we got was nice, but not the one we chose based on pictures. They didn't have the key to our room because the previous guest had checked out and taken it with them (how does that happen?). So we waited for an hour until they could get us a new key to leave our stuff in the room. They advertise that they have WiFi. Not in the rooms. They said "only in the lobby and restaurant". If that was described on the site, it wasn't highlighted, because especially having no cell service, wifi is a must in the room in 2018. Just put a router in each room. The restaurant was AMAZING for dinner, terrible for breakfast. The tv in the room was smaller than my tablet screen! I understand people don't go to cappadocia to watch tv, but if you're going to have one at all, it's gotta be bigger than a tablet. The ceiling in the bathroom was crumbling. The staff was polite and the area was nice, but if I had to do it all over, I'd stay in Goreme in a hotel that actually has WiFi and is closer to the most popular tourist sites. Every tour we went on left Urgup anyway.

Peter (10/5): Spoiler Alert: This Hotel Rocks (pun intended) - I took a shuttle from the airport with a lot of other passengers who were staying at other hotels, as we pulled up to Dere Suites my jaw dropped and I wondered who the lucky people were who were staying at such a beautiful place… turns out it was me! Everything at Dere Suites was absolute perfection. The room is truly the coolest room I have ever stayed in. Sleeping in a cave is already pretty epic, but the décor, comfort, and size of the room were all exceptional. The bed was incredibly comfortable, there was a great indoor and outdoor seating area and I loved the size and amenities of the bathroom. Some of the best pictures I took on my trip were out the front door of my room. The restaurant at the hotel is really great. The prices are low but the quality of the food is very high. I spent hours sitting on the terrace, trying great new foods and enjoying the view. The best part of this hotel, however, is the staff. They all go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and get the most out of their trip. They were able to arrange cheap and convenient airport dropoff/pickup, they arranged the coolest ATV trip I’ve been on (book through the hotel--- the other groups were filled with people, I was able to go one a private tour for the same price!), and gave some great recommendations about where to go in the neighborhood. I will definitely come back to Dere Suites!

The hotel itself was both unique and elegant. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we extended our stay, her idea, not mine.

Colin (10/5): Very unique and interesting experience! - What a great and unique place to stay! We were warmly greeted and checked in by the receptionist, who then took us and our bags up to our "cave suite". It was a great atmosphere and totally different. Yes of course, its not a normal hotel room so it is a bit dark at night when you shut off all the lights, and yes it is a bit colder because of the cold temperatures at night. But we learned to keep our mobile phones nearby to use if we wake up in the middle of the night and need a small light to walk to the toilet. And we learned that the cave itself is very insulated. So by keeping it warm during the day, it stays quite warm at night. Moreover, they provide very nice slippers and bathrobes, and thick blankets which help a lot. Our favorites were the nice jacuzzi -- just sipping some hot tea and relaxing in it each night after a day of hiking and sight-seeing, was wonderful. Also dinner at the hotel is highly recommended! Since it was low season, we were the only ones who were eating that night. The food was superb and they gave us lots of nice attention to make sure we had a great dining experience. The location is also close to shops and restaurants, all within walking distance if you don't mind walking up and down hills on some cobblestone. All in all, a great stay and we'd love to come back again to this cool place and hotel!
