Guest Reviews
- Jamie (8/5): -
- Jack (5/5): - The immediate area location was clean and safe. It is what i expected for a Hampton in. Nothing great but good for 1 night. Right across street for Walmart. Beds were uncomfortable. A/c was not cold enough for me. Under staffed, 1 guy checked us in while also running items to other guest rooms. He was working hard during a full occupancy night. Dog friendly, so expect to hear dogs barking, I did, at 3am.
- Scott (9/5): It was fine for our transit home for one night. - Breakfast was okay for me but my wife doesn't eat cheese with her eggs nor turkey sausage.
- Brittany (10/5): -
- Eddie (8/5): -
- Lisa (9/5): Had a wonderful stay & would definitely recommend - The room was clean & comfortable. Very spacious & had a lovely view of the local mountains. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was friendly. If you don't sign up for some special hotel rewards program, you can't get free Wi-Fi. The bed was very creaky.
- Mark (7/5): - Bed mattress uncomfotable
- Georgia (9/5): Quite Clean - Close to interstate and restaurant s Had to go through McDonald’s parking lot to get to it
- Daniel (8/5): Excellent hostess and facility - Upon our arrival we met "Kelli" the hostess who was very affable and efficient. She quickly set up our entry cards and got us to our room. The facility is very nice, clean and well maintained. We stay here whenever we are traveling out west.
- Rafael (10/5): Great - Everything was amazing, staff, cleaning, location, etc Nothing

- Jeff (8/5): -
- Kari (10/5): Great stay - Convenience of location
- Daniel (8/5): Easy overnighter - This is a very nice, clean, well maintained facility in a good location for anyone traveling. Its location allows for easy on and off of major highways. There are also some good eatery choices nearby. Road noise can be excessive.
- Donna (10/5): -
- Debra (5/5): - Workers were kind, right off the interstate, minutes to downtown Both nights groups were there lots of teenagers running jumping into the late night. Loud music playing.
- Julio (10/5): Especial - Si, en general fue una experiencia muy buena Nada
- Abdel (7/5): -
- Russell (10/5): -
- Eddie (9/5): Good - The breakfast choices and quality weren’t good!
- James (10/5): -
- Lyle (8/5): - Nice clean comfortable room easy access.
- Matthias (10/5): - We didn't pay attention to the map and initially went to the wrong hotel, which is right in front of the Hampton.
- MARKG3016 (10/5): Great comfortable stay! Ask for Adriana! - Really nice hotel that’s been recently renovated. King executive room was very spacious with a sofa and table with desk chair. Bathroom is also spacious. Room was very clean and has a comfortable bed. Really nice fitness room. Adriana at checkout was especially lovely. Great southern hospitality from her. Not a fan of the turkey sausage at breakfast. We like the real stuff!

- Chris (6/5): Accommodations were disappointing - Location, pool, exercise room available. Staff was efficient Our room’s furnishings were worn and outdated. We were missing plastic cups and other coffee- tea related items. The toilet was loose and the bed was hard and uncomfortable. When I went to the desk clerk to ask for an additional pillow he asked if I needed a pillow case too. I didn’t bring up the other issues because he seemed to be dealing with other customers’ problems and it was the same in the morning when we were checking out. We’ve stayed in many Hamptons and we were disappointed in this stay. I did not feel it was worth what we paid.
- Connie (8/5): -
- Ernest (9/5): Pleasant, but could be improved. - Hot oatmeal, yogurt for breakfast. In my travel experience, if the eggs are not kept hot enough bowel discomfort follows, sometimes quickly. Placement of towels over the toilet. Creates unsanitary situation, a flushed toilet creates a mist. Towels, should be no where near a flush.
- Brent (10/5): -
- William C. (10/5): - Nice rooms and a lot of space. That terrain is very hilly and it's uncomfortable.
- Esther (9/5): It was good - Easy to get to. Clean
- Tim (8/5): -
- Renata Kalil (10/5): Hotel bom! - Gostamos muito do hotel, atendimento muito bom! Muito barulho!
- Hector (8/5): -
- mediawise (9/5): - EVERYTHING worked and was as expected. out of the wy location
- Jennifer (5/5): - The hotel was in a good location. The hotel did not have warm water in the shower. You either had to take a freezing cold shower or a very hot shower to the point it was burning. Also, the air did not work properly in the room either. I was glad we were only there one night.
- Judy (8/5): Pleasant - The hotel was clean, no frills or anything special. The staff were super nice. Hank was very helpful at check in. The tv kept turning itself off every 30 minutes even though the sleep timer was not on. The breakfast needs more gluten free options, examples gluten free muffins or yogurt or GF oatmeal packets. There was GF bread but not a dedicated GF toaster.
- Sharon (10/5): -
- L4260IKjohnh (6/5): Expensive for the quality - Second time here and nothing has changed. Breakfast, might as well forget it. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Our room, 219, needs to have the mattresses replaced. Last year and this year as well the bathroom doors would not open entirely because the tile on the floor has a small rise and they they haven't figured out that they need to trim the bottom of the doors.

- DeniseH134 (8/5): Good hotel except for bathroom design - Actually a 4.5 if gradations were allowed. Very nice hotel, wonderful view, great staff.
Although technically in Lookout Valley, it’s on a high ridge, along with a Marriott. Nice view, good landscaping to make you feel “above” the commercial district.
Good breakfast, better than the typical. Also nice treats at the front desk, for all guests, not just gold and diamond members. Hank at front desk genuinely cares about guests and goes out of his way to make the stay great.
Only complaint: Bathrooms seem to have been designed by a 6’5” man. Shampoo-conditioner-soap is mounted about 6’ high. Shelves with towels are above toilet, so high, with Kleenex on top shelf , again 6+ feet high. Sink is I set a good foot, which makes simple things like washing your hands difficult if you’re short.
I would stay at this hotel again, despite the bathroom annoyances.
- Sarah Blais (7/5): Not Bad, Not bad at all - It was clean and the price was decent. It was where we wanted to stop.
Two thumbs up on the breakfast but forks stink. Didn't like the EV charging station was removed and there was no computer to use.
- lauralyb2023 (6/5): Just an average hotel stay - We arrived at the hotel without any difficulty. I was warmly greeted at reception desk. Our room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable. Wifi connection at the hotel was down and no indication if or when it would be restored. Breakfast wasn't very good. Overall, it was a mediocre stay. If ever in the area again I will look for other options.
- Suttle (8/5): Would stay here again and would recommend. - Great location, close to area attractions. We did not like that the thermostat would not go below 67 for sleeping.
- DOROTHY (10/5): -
- Barry (1/5): Dirty Dofa bed - The pull out sofa bed was dirty lining I did let front desk know the response was it happens
- Courtney (9/5): -
- Barry (7/5): - Had enough towels for two people but was 3 of us
- Candice (10/5): -
- Darin (4/5): Overall quite disappointing for a Hampton Inn. - Location was good Breakfast was lacking. Only almond milk was available and the other breakfast selections were also not that great.
- Keenan (9/5): - Close to attractions and restaurants. Very clean, great breakfast. The staff was awesome too!
- Lori (10/5): - Close to activities, clean, convenient
- RONALD (10/5): Great stay. Never disappointed with Hampton Inn. - Excellent customer service especially at check in. He brought us extra pillows up to the room when we asked. Very nice polite employees you have. The very high pole sign you see from the interstate. The lenses are been blown out on both sides I assume that says Hampton Inn. There is only the shell of the sign there on the pole. That needs to be fixed to help travelers at night to know where to go.
- Valerie (1/5): - Hotel was nice What isn't great is you have to pay a 50.00 incidental fee. Okay, but we checked out 9 days ago still no refund. This is an unacceptable practice. Hampton/Hilton do better.
- Simone (2/5): - Still waiting to check in.
- Deborah (7/5): Not up to Hampton Inn standards. - The location was near Lookout Mountain. Not up to Hampton Inn standards. With the exception of Hank the staff was not friendly or welcoming. The female breakfast attendant was no where to be found the first morning we were there and items ran out. The woman at the desk in the mornings never spoke to guests.
Hotel could use a refresh.
- Samantha (4/5): - pillows were awful and air conditioning would only allow it so low, did not sleep well because the room was warm; for $250/night, I would expect more, and the size of the room was underwhelming; I’ve stayed in less expensive hotels that were nicer.
- Reeda-Marie (10/5): - Breakfast was amazing, they offered cookies at night. Super clean. Staff was awesome.
- Tina (10/5): - The indoor pool was a little less cold than the outside pool but wouldn't consider it heated. I heard other families complain about it too!
- Melanie (10/5): - Lovely clean room
- Gerald (10/5): - Smells like it is brand new.
- Teresa (10/5): - Very nice room and wonderful breakfast. Close to Lookout Mountain and Ruby Falls.
- Jill (6/5): - Rooms needed deep cleaning. Toilets had build up around seat and base. Spilled coffee on walls that were given cursory wipe down. AC unit smelled very moldy. Not up to the standards of other Hampton Inns
- Sweden (8/5): - kitchen short staff especially for breakfast. Empty trays and waffle batter Not refilled in a timely manner. Wait is Too long.
- Lisa (10/5): - Traveling and had to have a place to stay. This was a nice hotel. Comfy bed. Staff was pleasant.
- Brian (8/5): - Standard hotel, staff was friendly but had to ask for clean towels.
- STEVE (10/5): - The staff and management are always cooperative and helpful. This is a great property to stay at.
- Gaynelle (10/5): - Room was very clean. No problems at all. Breakfast was great.
- Melissa (10/5): - Great service, comfortable rooms, great view and great outdoor pool!
- Michelle (4/5): Would never go back. And location NOT ON the mountain. Misleadingif you’ve never visited Chattanooga before (like me) - Pool. Fitness room Location right next to highway. Felt like I was on the side of the road. TERRIBLE. They moved me to the opposite side of the building. Quieter but still some highway. Old building. Carpet dirty and worn out. I mean DIRTY and WORN OUT.
- FaithShelly (8/5): 3 day stay. - The room was clean. The bathroom needs some extra cleaning around the edge. We stayed 3 days and stay was ok. People were pleasant. Breakfast was good. They need new pillows, they were very flat.
- Susan (10/5): Outstanding - Always Outstanding! We always have stayed at Hampton Inn as we did the 50 states. Always exceptional clean! Staff is always outstanding and makes you feel like family! ❤️❤️
- Donna (10/5): -
- Samantha (10/5): - .
- Shelly (9/5): -
- Mememarsh (10/5): Nice Hampton in the Hills - Nice Hampton as expected. Clean & spacious room with a comfortable bed and a decent breakfast in the morning. Friendly and hardworking staff.
- Falicia (9/5): -
- Downtownhouseofpizza (6/5): $75 pet fee - The place was clean, but I had to switch rooms because of a few things not working properly, which is no big deal. I’ve given this three stars because of the $75 pet charge which is ridiculous. This fee is nonrefundable.
- Wright (9/5): Superb - Everything was very nice. The kids really enjoyed the pool outside. Staff was very friendly room was very clean. Would stay there again. The weather
- Richard (8/5): Great choice to stay when visiting Chattanooga - Close to downtown, very clean, friendly staff & good breakfast Nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Nice clean hotel, friendly staff, great breakfast and pool area. Nearby shopping plaza with Walmart.
- Beth (9/5): Good - Breakfast and pool Need better lighting in bathrooms for women to put in make up
- Amber (10/5): Worth the stay - Honestly, the stay was great. The beds are HARD and not comfortable at all-it was a long, sleepless night for me. We specially booked because of their outdoor pool-we have 4 kids-the outside pool has a 1ft area with a "mushroom" waterfall type thing-it did not work. The water slide was AWESOME! My 9 and 11 year old LOVED it! I enjoyed it myself too. Breakfast was fair/good. There were western omelets, chunked potatoes (they were not crispy, but very soggy), sliced kielbasa sauage, bread for toast and bagels, muffins, fruit, oatmeal-with toppings, milk-oatmilk-coconut milk and almond milk, 4 different juices, and 2 waffle makers. There was smores and vanilla flavored waffle mix. Honestly, the waffles made the whole breakfast. There were a few family friendly board games on a table in the lobby that guests were able to utilize-a first for my family!
- JESSICA (10/5): Great little get away! - This was our second time staying here. And we came back because we enjoyed it so much the first time! Great little hotel up on a hill with a great view! We came with friends and
- Robert (10/5): - Great
- thomas (8/5): - Sink in bathroom drained slowly.
- Yesenia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Front desk... above and beyond customer service. Great breakfast!
- Corbin (10/5): Will be back! - Great location, clean, great breakfast!
- Sandra (6/5): - Con: It was difficult to sleep due to the thin walls and the air conditioner making clicking sounds every time it turned on. I wish hotels offered white noise machines.
Pros: The outdoor pool was fun! My child loved the slide! And I liked the option of the indoor pool for when it rained. The complementary continental breakfast tasted great too.
- LeaAnn (10/5): Weekend away! - My husband and I came to this hotel for a weekend getaway. We were thrilled that they are a pet friendly hotel and the check in was super easy! The hotel is clean and we were happy with our room. Our only issue was the mattress was hard and the pillows go flat as soon as you put your head in them. Overall, very clean room, friendly staff and a great place to stay. We will consider this hotel again in the future if we decide to visit the area again.
- Susan (10/5): - The power had just came back on when we arrived. Even though many things were happening at once and lots of people with questions, my family was given full attention from person at front desk. He did an awesome job
- Candice (8/5): - Nice, newly renovated in May. Very welcoming evening staff member. But short a 5 star stay due to room being super warm upon entering (thermostat was set at 78 degrees), and needed several hours to cool down. Mind you, we got in after 845pm so by 11pm it only went down to 74 degrees. Difficult to fall asleep as it was still a bit warm, and there was also an odd smell in the room. Not sure if it came from plumbing or ac unit. Morning staff member was also not polite when greeted with a good morning. I guess it was too early to say hello?
