Some air conditioners were leaking, and we had some issues with the room keys. However, these were addressed very quickly.

Windows and door insulation is very bad. Can hear noise from the streets as well as room corridor. I could hear people walking outside at the corridor as well as their knocking on other room doors. And noise from traffic outside can clearly be heard.

WiFi is pretty poor in rooms, and was the first time they have started charging extra for breakfast, which is disappointing. Also initially wanted to charge extra for an "early check in" when arriving 30 minutes before allocated time, which again was off putting as a returning customer.

- MERCEDES (6/5): - We stayed at this hotel in July, and overall, it was a good experience for the price. The hotel is located off a busy road and relatively close to the airport, though Bali traffic can make the trip longer than expected. Check-in was quick, and the hotel’s colorful decor, reminiscent of Brazilian artist Romero Britto’s work, added a lively vibe. It has a bit of a hostel or college feel, which could appeal to younger travelers. From the corridor, we had a fantastic view of the massive Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue. Our room, while clean and comfortable, felt a bit dated. It had a view of the bay, but the lack of storage was inconvenient, with no drawers and very few hangers. Basic toiletries were provided, and while the beds weren’t as comfortable as we'd hoped, we still slept well. The rooftop pool and bar, along with a lounge/play area, were nice amenities, but unfortunately, rain kept us from enjoying the pool. The bar served decent food, and the bartender was very friendly. For just $19 (with taxes, $25), we were impressed by the range of services available. While we didn’t try their spa, we felt the hotel offered excellent value for the price, despite minor comfort issues.

- Lea (10/5): Love it - For several weeks and months, the MaxOne Hotel has always offered us something that resembles home. A spectacular feature of the hotel itself is the huge pool on the roof, where you can see half of Bali. Whether you are staying for a long time or spontaneously for one night, you are always warmly welcomed. But the highlight of the Max One Hotel Bukit Jimbaran is the staff. We have grown very fond of them all. They are all super great people, helpful and kind. The price-performance ratio is great. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Cafe inside is simple but serves good. Nice idea with shower sit. Nice view from room on 5th floor. Inside parking is big and closed (no rain there). Not noisy but hotel is located near the busy road. The rooms is small. Would like to have a small table too but no space. Air conditioning works bad. In the room a little bit smelly. Traffic jams on main roads
- Hristo (1/5): MOLD, MOLD, MOLD. :( - Nice and smiling stuff. Good view from the pool. Avoid at all costs! Rooms are drenched/soaked/infested with MOLD. I developed a very bad reaction towards the mold and was sick during my stay there. Felt really sick and miserable. It was a nightmare. I changed two rooms and they were the same.
- Stefania (6/5): Okay but not great - The room was clean and very kind personal The wifi didn’t work well at all during our stay. And for the breakfast, it was quite disappointing. There was no explanation provided on how it worked; they simply served Indonesian food without informing us that we could request eggs. On the first day, we ended up going out for breakfast, and on the second day, after they noticed us wandering around trying to find something we liked, they mentioned we could order eggs. However, the portion they gave us was very small. Each day seemed to be a bit less satisfying.

It was caused by the humidity… Once the A/C was on, it was less intense but still. When you came into the room, it was horrible… The room was clean. The buffet was very deceitful. There was mold on the bread. We ended up eating somewhere else. The staff was nice.

When we entered the room, we saw some ants on the floor and a stain on the linens. There is a construction site next to this hotel, and there was a resident house beneath the balcony, so the view from the room was not particularly good.

I booked a double bed however when I got to the property I was told there was a single bed only. Fortunately, they found a double bed. However, it was not nice to come to that after a long trip.

Great little bar over the road called little irish with great pub fair at reasonable prices. Starting to show wear and tear in some areas but by no means a deal breaker. When in this area it is a very convenient place to stay.

Breakfast quality can be better, rooftop cafe counter area can be revamped, and maybe refresh the colorful interior into something more nowness 😄

I like their traditional options better: nasi bungkus, bubur mutiara or bubur kacang hijau. Also their cafe in rooftop, the counter and the cupboard can be revamped so it looks better and appealing.

- Daliah_elf (5/5): Passable - the swimming pool and the ruff top was nice to have, it was pretty calm and a nice view. the shower was broken, there were a lot of ants everywhere, the pillows and bed was uncomfortable and there was a drunk girl who was lucked out her her room who made extreme noises at 5am, when I told her to stop she started knocking on my door.

The rooftop has an amazing view and pool where you can lounge all day long. The breakfast buffet is really good for the price that you pay! WIFI was not working all the time and when it did, it was very slow. Beside that it was a good experience staying at Max one.

- Isabella (10/5): Comfortable nice and clean state - We really liked MaxOneHotel! Especially the pool area on the top is a big highlight. The breakfast was really delicious and we had a lot to choose from. The rooms were clean. We also had the possibilities to rent scooters. The hotel is located next to a really busy street, therefore there is a bit of traffic noise all of the time. The location of the appartment is only good if you plan in renting a scooter. (With the traffic you should know how to drive a scooter before, it’s dangerous otherwise)
- Anna (6/5): Adequate stay for the cost - Adequate stay for 3 nights while travelling. Reasonable location and in proximity to Kuta beach and Uluwatu. Good size hotel. The shower in the room was to a high standard. The biggest issue was that the towels provided in the room smelled of smoke. I utilised the laundry service in the hotel and when my clothes were returned they also had a smoky odour. The spa in the hotel was not great but the pricing was very reasonable.

- Lisna (8/5): Very good - Quite reasonable price and quality; if you’re looking for an affordable accommodation and stil worth the price with a touch of comfort (comfort bed and bathroom, cool aircon, elevator, breakfast, cafe, convenient store nearby, etc), then this prop might be the answer. The location is quite far from the Kuta centre area with a bit traffic to and from. yet if you’re looking for accommodation very close to GWK, this could be the option.
