• Lredman (10/5): Quiet rooms in a busy place - We had two nights here in a very quiet room with good air con. The bed was comfy and shower nice and hot. Breakfast was included with usual Indian buffet offerings. We ate in restaurant at hotel in the evening which was reasonably priced and delicious food.

• Compass05164566454 (10/5): Exceptional Guest Services - I can’t say enough about the “all-hands-on-deck” help I received while staying at the Regent. I lost my phone while traveling to Delhi and I was frantic to find a new phone so I could at least take pictures and communicate via text with my tour mates. When I explained my situation, three staff members immediately reached out to their contacts to find me a phone I could use while in India. Then, the Manager assigned a staff member to personally escort me to an ATM so I could withdrawal the cash I needed to buy the phone, the phone store itself, then another location to buy a protective cover. I know I took him away from his regular duties, but being a first-time visitor to India it was a great comfort to be with someone I could absolutely trust in a new environment. My room was spacious and clean, the breakfast buffet was delicious, and the wait staff were very attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

Horrible hotel, we arrived at 5am after a flight from Sri Lanka, and they put us in a room opposite the kitchen. The staff had the door open as it was hot, and we got absolutely no sleep that morning before we were picked up for a tour at lunchtime. The refrigerator in the room didn't work and, despite telling the front desk, nothing was done. The room was spacious, but very tired and worn out, certainly not a 4,star standard. Breakfast the following morning was awful, mostly curries and Indian food. I made do with Strawberry milk, cold, hard toast, and tinned orange juice. A one star rating seemed too high.

So the food is always spicy; towels, soap, etc are scarce. But all very accommodating. Mattresses and pillow harder than I like but decent. White Towels darker than I like but doable, especially for the money (hotels in Delhi are more expensive than in other cities in India).

Room is neat but the bathroom drains had a bad odour emanating from time to time. The location of the hotel is not so Grandin you're tourist as you may find it away from tourist attractions, shops and other restaurants. The street area at the back of the hotel is unsightly and at the front entrance is a busy road with heavy traffic. The roof top on the 5th floor overlooks the train lines. Restaurant on 1st floor serves tasty food and staff is professional and helpful.
• neilgN3279GG (2/5): Definitely not 4 stars... - Omg- this place is not a 4star. It's maybe 2 star. Horrible smell in all the rooms we booked and no hot water. We told our travel agent that we needed to move to another hotel immediately as the place is poorly maintained. Staff spit in the hotel even while cleaning the apartments. Very noisy and definitely not a place to bring family or have a holiday unless you are back packing or need a room on a tight budget for the night. I am very sure that they have a deal with travel agents as many other guests had told us that their agent recommended this place but given that it's peak season, they cannot move elsewhere. We eventually moved to a 4 star hotel close by which was much much better. We have also stayed at a 3 star hotel in Ayodhya which was far better so I really question the 4 star rating.

• nimishgoray (10/5): Good property to stay in Patel Nagar - The property was situated at a good location near the Patel Nagar metro station. The rooms were good and spacious with necessary facilities. Cleanliness was maintained and room service did an excellent job. There were issues with unavailability of hot water on two days. The breakfast spread was OK, the North Indian fare was very good. The a-la-carte options were good, again North Indian food items were really good. Parking was a constraint though. Overall, a good place to stay for a slightly higher budget.

Off premises manager A. JHA calling and begging,strongly suggesting and bullying me to fix the review so they can get 4 star.Meanwhile wrongfully putting the 2.5 star hotel as 4 star. Check out I reach the desk at 7:20 am. They ask for cash, suggesting them I am not carrying that much cash, they suggest a ATM, refused that too, they tried my credit card 2 times, now again suggest me to go to ATM, I gave another card, this time an international, another person comes in and swiped my card 2 times. Meanwhils my ride, taxi calls the front office and says he is waiting. 7:35, my husband joins, they offer to accompany him to a nearby ATM to withdraw cash as their Credit Card Processor is not working. He also refuses to pay cash so they tried his card on another mashine. 7:45, they still insist on paying cash for the worst hotel room and surroundings.

• Pinu (6/5): Hotel in der Nähe der Metro sehr praktisch! - Das Hotel ist renovierungs Bedürftig die Zimmer waren gut, es gab keinen roof top Garden und eine Lobby gibt es auch nicht, wenn man als Gruppe dort hin reist kann man sich nur ins Restaurant zusammen setzen, das Personal im Restaurant war auch gut das Essen hat geschmeckt. Man läuft 4min zur Metro von da kann man alle Ziele der Stadt erreichen, für Indien ein echt gutes Hotel das komplette Personal war super Nett!
• Shamla (6/5): Hotel fußläufig zur Metro - Wir kamen nachts an mit einstündiger Verspätung, der Transfer hat bereits gewartet (ziemlich zerschlissen und eng, waren 6 Personen (3 Pärchen, Alter: Mitte 20 - Anfang 30), hatten schon ein sauberes Fahrzeug erwartet, aber gut). Nachtrezeptionist war ziemlich verpeilt, spricht kein Englisch, die tagsüber schon. Das Hotel ist ok, würde eher 2-3 Sterne geben (uns war natürlich klar, dass wir kein 4 Sterne auf europäischem Niveau erwarten können), die Jalousie im Bad war dreckig (oder Schimmel, so genau wollten wir nicht hinschauen). Ansonsten war das Personal am Desk, sowie die Kellner im Restaraunt nett. Frühstück war so lala, zu wenig Auswahl, Speisen wechselten alle 2 Tage, wir haben dort zumeist auch abends gegessen à la carte, dies war gut. Das Hotel befindet sich auf einer Hauptstraße, fußläufig gibt es eine Einkauffstraße, wo man eigentlich alles findet, Restaurants etc., die Metro war auch nur ca 5 Min fußläufig entfernt (Haltestelle Patel Nagar), mit dieser kam man super schnell und günstig überall hin. Was ich schade finde, das Hotel besitzt im EG eine "Lobby", aber keine Sitzmöglichkeiten, des Weiteren konnten man zwar auf die Dachterasse, aber es gab kein Licht oder wurde nicht eingeschaltet, es gab auch eine Küche extra für die Dachterasse, es war aber in der Woche in der wir da waren nicht möglich dort etwas zu bestellen.
• Sandy (8/5): Nice and Clean - This hotel is not BRAND NEW, but it is very well maintained and clean. All staff members spoke English and were very helpful. I am not familiar with New Delhi and didn't really do much sight seeing in the area, so it's hard to judge on the location. But in terms of comfort, we were very pleased with our room :) The hotel has a lift, so it is convenient for parents with kids and a stroller or for people with walking difficulties.
• Indrani (10/5): Airport Shuttle - Premium Fare - I chose this hotel because I filtered the Expedia search for hotels with Shuttle. I assumed that since they provided a shuttle it must be close to the airport but it was farther than I had thought. And to make matters worse, I had to pay a premium for the shuttle (about 4 times the cost of Uber). There were a lot of hotels much closer to airport with better prices.
• Wukchul (6/5): Good hotel but bad location - Service was satisfactory. Room was clean. But the location was not so good (next to the road and metro, so a bit noisy and air quality seems to be a bit affected).
• Travelguru (6/5): average hotel - hotel is average 3 star. rooms are clean but mine was tiny. service is hit and miss. they try to deliver the best services but don't have the staff to do it. my room wasn't cleaned the second day and i had to keep reminding them. they do go out of their way to try to accommodate your needs. Breakfast is at 7 but i had an early train on my first day and needed to leave before 7. they put breakfast on for me at 6.30. breakfast is ok if you like a traditional indian breakfast. choice of 3 or 4 traditional options us cereal and toast.
• Verified traveler (4/5): お湯ので最悪 - 部屋は清潔で綺麗だが、シャワーのお湯の出が最悪。たっぷりのお湯でシャワーを浴びたい方には勧めらない。
• sudhindra (6/5): 3 star hotel with very small rooms. - Very small room with outdated furniture. Pictures on website are photo shopped and highly misleading. No luxurious feeling or ambience in the hotel and would classify this as a 3 star hotel.
• Tracy (8/5): Good budget hotel - This was a good budget hotel in central Delhi. The breakfast buffet was good and included several options. The staff was attentive to any needs you may have. As a single woman traveling alone I felt safe staying here.
