The bed was very comfortable, my wife remarked it was the most comfortable hotel bed she had ever slept on. Room had everything needed. That we only spent one night in the room and couldn't take advantage of how comfortable it was.

• Robert (10/5): Happy visit - Stayed with my family and one of my friends. The room was very spacious. Close by donut shops and convenient stores. We were able to cook breakfast for the family. Overall, great stay.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Don’t recommend - The staff were really nice and the hotel itself was clean. Our room, however, was not great. The countertops were sticky, the ice machine in the freezer didn’t work, and both the couch and recliner had a lot of stains on them. The worst part was the smell. The room had a very strong odor similar to oven cleaner and the sheets smelled very strongly of body odor. Maybe we had a bad room but it’s not a hotel I’d recommend or stay at again.

Plenty of room in the closet and lots of resources if they were needed; laundry basket, dishes, pots/pans,etc. Only thing that stood out was Furniture was a little worn on chairs. Other than that everything completely exceeded our expectations!

• chuckj801 (2/5): Very disappointed - So disappointed. The last time we were in Amarillo, we stayed at the sister hotel - the Staybridge and everything was great. This time: Room had a "closed-up" smell. The adjustable chair wouldn't stay up. The table was so wobbly was afraid it would collapse. Faux leather chair had a lot of the fabric missing. A Previous guest put a 3-4in hole in the wall. It was patched but not no one bothered to paint it so it was bright white area against the brown wall. No electric outlet on right side of bed. Low water pressure in the shower. Shower curtain rod installed too high - curtain wouldn't stay inside the tub. Heard doors slamming and dog barking. Just about asleep and heard someone screaming. We stayed 2 nights. On the first morning, room service walked into the room and asked if we were leaving. Called front desk asking for distilled water. Was told there was some in the Cupboard Room. There was none, only purified water. Wanted dairy for coffee creamer. They had just 1% milk pint and only one of those. Very disappointed. Won't happen again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): On the road - We have stayed in many Candlewood Inns across the country. This particular hotel was not very well kept as far as the structure. It was very clean, but had lots of wall and ceiling damage that had been poorly repaired. It was safe and quiet.

• Judith (8/5): Nice - Location, free laundry, kitchen Layout of the furniture in the room was odd. Nightstand on only one side. Bedside wall lamp only on one side. Bed crammed to one side to accommodate a large chair. Weird!

• Dayna (6/5): Won’t stay again but got my sleep - It’s a good location and parking was decent When we got there our first room had been slept in and not cleaned and it was 9pm so we had to go downstairs after hauling everything up and haul it down only to find several ppl in line to check in with only 1 person working at the hotel (according to her) finally got another room but it wasn’t handicapped accessible and my son has a prosthetic leg and makes showering difficult without a shower chair
• Jacqulyne (6/5): Pleasant - Front desk worker was great. I paid for the reservation beforehand on booking.com and the reservation didn't show paid in her system. She was very nice and helped me navigate that issue and got my family checked in. The room was nice and clean, but in clear need of some maintenance. A couple of broken and damaged kitchen cabinet doors, a few spots where wall repair is needed, the beds were pretty worn and we couldn't get the TV to turn on.

• Terri (8/5): - Our one night stay was good. The beds were comfy, the equipment in the kitchen was sufficient and the place was relatively quiet.
• Opal (10/5): - The closet door is directly behind the main door and there was a hole from the door handle of the main door just needs to have some kind of patch or plate put over it and the heavy Curtains above the air conditioner unit really needed to be washed to replaced.They were really lucky looking

• Mathew (10/5): Candlewood Suites is my go to Hotel when I travel - I was traveling and needed a one night stay so I used a app on my phone to look for a hotel and was happy to find a Candlewood Suites. I've stayed at Candlewood Suites when I travel so I knew my stay would be great!
• Robert (10/5): Excellent stay. No issues. Close to several restaurants. - Clean comfy. We had a room with kitchenette. Which was well stocked to meet our needs.

• TravelinMan678 (10/5): Just Off the Main Highway - No Pool, hot tub but there is one next door that can be used. No breakfast but plenty of places to eat nearby. Beautiful spacious room with kitchen, large fridge / freezer. I like the idea of the TV in the corner instead of right in front of the bed. Friendly Staff. Erica was great at the front desk. I would stay here again.
