- Scholl (9/5): My main activity was visiting the Angkor Wat temple complex and just checking out Siem Reap. - Just a great facility with kind staff. Location is rightin the heart of Siem Reap. Every thing is easy at Reaksmey. Nothing not to like
- Reaksmey (3/5): -
- Yui (3/5): - The large room has a balcony I checked in on January 23, 2026. I booked a standard room and was upgraded to a larger room. ,The room was not clean; the bathtub was unusable for relaxing with warm water, only for showering. The bedroom was infested with mosquitoes and geckos., I understand that the room isn't very soundproof., My boyfriend and I were sick and hadn't gotten enough rest, but this wasn't the main problem as we thought a little more rest would improve things. But it didn't. We went to bed at 4:00 AM and had to wake up at 6:00 AM (January 24, 2026). That should have been a time when everyone was sleeping, but we couldn't sleep at all because they let other customers swim in the pool early in the morning. The screaming and shouting disturbed our rest. That morning, we went to see a doctor around 7:40 AM. Then, January 25, 2026 arrived, and we still couldn't get any rest because they were still letting other groups of customers swim from 7:00 AM. We, who were sick, couldn't get any rest in our room. (I informed the staff about this, but they couldn't help at all.)
I think the management should come down and inspect the business themselves.
Pulizia quasi assente e igiene davvero scarsa.
Insonorizzazione praticamente inesistente.
- John (1/5): Unacceptable snd yet we were charged for one night - Nothing THE HOTEL WAS FULL OF MOULD, IT STANK OF DAMP, IT WAS DIRTY, NO HOT WATER AND WE COULD NOT STAY THERE. WE WERE CHARGED ONE
NIGHTS COSTS BECAUSE WE WERE IN THE ROOM. WE WALKED OUT AND FOUND SOMEWHERE NEARBY TO STAY.
- George (4/5): - Location It was very dated and the decor was old and scruffy, the bathrooms in the rooms were very old looking and needed decorating very badly
- Sergio (8/5): -
- YIAN BEE (7/5): Good location for a short stay. - Room facing the pool. The loud music from Pub Street is annoying until 3-4 AM everyday.
- Hannu (7/5): -
- Sonn (6/5): -
- MARCO (10/5): -
- Freeman (2/5): Very poor -
- Michael (8/5): A good experience - Not applicable Everything was satisfactory
- Gregory (10/5): Excellent - Beautiful superior hotel in the heart of everything, Need to improve on the shower door hitting the bath door
- Sreyvin (9/5): Superb -
- Azlan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Samnang (5/5): Passable - My car got scratch. :(
- Martin (5/5): Passable - Floor in bedroom too highly polished. I fell over twice, hurt legs
- Raj (1/5): Bad - Staff was to rude and not well behaved
- Fred (9/5): Great! - Easily the best place in Laos! The room I stayed In was brand new. I took the cellophane off the plug sockets. I was the first one! It was quite expensive. The most expensive place so far of my stay in Asia. The grounds look unfinished. The actual building though was very nice
- Garin (2/5): Wrong confirmation on size of beds -
- Yeang (9/5): Superb -
- Annty (9/5): Superb -
- Barbara (8/5): Great hotel but getting noisy
Thanks - Love the hotel, the staff, and convenient location The bar across the street is the problem. They have loud music playing until after 3am. So sorry the thumping is ruining our favorite place to stay
- Latika (10/5): Good - I liked the location, rooms, but there is too much echo, the bars in the area play very loud music till early hours of mornings, which seeps in the room too so unless u r dead tired, sleep is difficult. Bathroom door wood is puffed as a result, it can't be closed properly. They have bathrobes, slippers, hair drier, but no tea, sugar & creamer just 1 each, 2 coffee sachets which r very strong, staff in general doesn't speak general English so not helpful. So this hotel is for people who can be on their own & doesn't need any help. They also have washing service which goes by kilo, but I suggest that you count your clothes & take a photo of what you r giving for washing, clothes r not ironed but only washed & folded properly. No tea, no English, no room service, no breakfast.
- Peter (5/5): get a room at the back of the hotel - great location loud music every night
- David (5/5): Passable - Close proximity to pub streets and bars but it’s loud from all the bars nearby and music doesn’t stop until 5am Congested as soon as you walk out of the hotel.
- Lai (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lai (9/5): Superb -

No man at the parking slot.
- Steven (10/5): - Need to keep the lid closed on the hot food to keep it warm
- Sara (7/5): Good - The pool area was super nice and quiet
- Yannick (4/5): Plus jamais jy vais.
- ‘s (3/5): Nice location, price reasonable but one of lady staff afternoon is rude and don’t know how to make customer satisfaction -
- Andrew (8/5): Shame really as we were. There before and it was lovely. We had a ground floor room and it was very. - Very very noisy as room was next to the road. Suggest secondary double glazing to insulate. Noise and no lift, I am an invalid .
- SUMAN (6/5): - Pretty much basics, bathroom was not okay. Charged me US$3 for accidentally breaking a tea cup :(
- Hastings (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (8/5): Very good - Walking distance to everything. The pool. The big room with table and chairs. Door height in bathroom and step to get in
- Raju (9/5): Superb - Door is not come sun light
- Jibukumar (9/5): Superb -
- Pavitra (9/5): Superb - The place is central so all tourist places are easily accessible
- Theng (9/5): Superb -
- Heak (4/5): Disappointing - no parking space
- Robin (1/5): Dirty, dated and didn’t supply breakfast although included. - Nothing it’s a total toilet Nothing it needs to be demolished
- Raynor (6/5): Pleasant - Great location for pub street upgraded to a suite very big but the rooms could due a good clean 😱 Rooms need a deep clean
- Minh (5/5): Average - Good location
- Yian (8/5): Very good -
- Marianna (7/5): Nice hotel with so many pros, but if you’re in room 201 ask to change unless you can sleep through anything. - Great location, really nice rooms, lovely staff, comfy bed, nice big bathroom. We were put in room 201 for our first night and the music from the bars was stupidly loud, the base was ridiculous and started at 9pm and didn’t stop all night so we didn’t get any sleep. Staff are aware of the issue and moved us into a different room the next day without hesitation but bit annoying they put us in there without warning because we were exhausted and had a sunrise temple tour the next day. Couldn’t hear the music from the next room we were moved to (room 206).
- asianXplorer (8/5): Quality Surroundings At An Affordable Budget Price 1 Block From Pub Street - I have stayed at this rather elegant-looking and richly-furnished in the local Khmer style hotel 3 times over the years and the prices since I first came here back in 2016 are STILL the same: $20 for 1 person for 1 night. The service is top-rated as is the kindness and cheerfulness of the staff from the front desk to the cleaning ladies. And the swimming pool is amazing. Very clean and in a decorative, tropical paradise motif. Only 1 block away from Pub Street which is extremely convenient and tuk-tuks outside the door on the street always ready to assist you. I love this place!
- Ratha (9/5): Superb -
- Miamirej (7/5): Horrible WIFI - I can barely get this review out. - Good room overlooking pool. Horrible WIFI
- Michael (4/5): - The hotel is very dated. It lacks modern amenities and looks far more charming in photos than in person. Noise pollution is a HUGE issue here. Music will pretty much blast loudly almost 24/7 with the cleaning crew and pool users causing the remaining portions of noise. There are no elevators, the restaurant and bars no longer operate. Staff is mediocre at best. Telephones unplugged. No microwave and a fridge that hardly works. This place is only good for convenience of its location to pub street but that’s also its major downfall and source of the bass pounding music. The moment you step outside you will be solicited endlessly. Also the “airport shuttle” is actually just a small tuk tuk. Rooms are dark and we had to immediately change rooms due to electrical issues and the power failing at our room. If this place was free, I still would not return.
- Russel (10/5): great 🥳 - clean and friendly.
very nice room
good location
- Faye (6/5): There was quite a lot of Mould in the shower and very little English spoken - There was no breakfast THere was no TV
- Valdir (8/5): O HOTEL É BONZINHO - LOCALIZAÇAO FALTA DO CAFÉ DA MANHÃÉ
- Russell (6/5): convenience - close to pup street, market, restaurant river and everything else steps always. restaurant, bar not open yet. pool is compact . no Gym. hot water is not enough to fill bathtub.
- Russell (6/5): simplicity- if you tired of five stars, try this property. - - convenience
- close to pup street - across the street
- breakfast is not offer by property, but restaurant Just steps away. - hot water is not enough to fill bathtub
- No lift
- furniture are old
- Russell (5/5): Passable -
- ParrotheadDiver (4/5): Beware.....Reaksmey Hotel has hidden camera in ceiling light fixture! - My girlfriend and I stayed in room # 304 for two nights, two weeks ago. After a night out on Pub Street, we returned to the room for a shower and sex. I left the bathroom light on, but all other lights were turned off. During sex, I thought I saw a bright flash of white light from the ceiling area, just like a camera flash. Bright, quick, and white. A few minutes later, it happened again. This time my girlfriend saw a flash, but didnt know what it was. As we finished, it happened again, but this time we both saw the light come from the ceiling light fixture. I turned the light on, and the light covering is YELLOW, not white.
The next night, the same thing happened! Just once this time, because we finished up under the covers after the flash. I also flipped the ceiling light my middle finger.....so maybe the perv watching knew we were on to him. There were no "flashes" the afternoon we arrived and had sex, and none the last morning. Even if a short in the light, it was YELLOW, not white (See attached picture). The light did not "flash" any other time we were there....only when we were having sex. The ceiling is very high, so I could not inspect it without a ladder. Thankfully we are not famous, or the invasion of our privacy would be worrisome. You have been warned.
- buksida (8/5): Centre of the nightlife scene - Very clean rooms and great pool area. Staff were friendly and we had a free airport pickup. Hotel is right in the heart of the nightlife scene so can get noisy at night if your room is near the front.
There is also a 7-eleven very close by and it's a short walk to the river.
- Pornpan (1/5): We were disappointed. Aircon, TV and Hairdryer were in the room but they all were not working. Bedsheets not changed dai - convenient location TV, Hair dryer and Aircon not working.
Bed sheets not changed daily.
noise
- Alain (6/5): Need to clean the room and shower. - good location Not clean .
- Panha (7/5): Good -
- Sihom (8/5): Very good -
- Eszter (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and staff friendly Little bit noise from the street
- Harjit (8/5): Very good -
- Judy (7/5): Convenient stay - close to all the city had to offer. shops and restaurants nearby . our room was a good size. Towels changed daily. Bottled water provided daily. Staff friendly. Good clean pool. noise at night from mobile discos across the street. Shower over bath which could be a problem for some. No bathmat. Limited toiletries.
- Huy (8/5): Very good - Good location Old house, heavy smell
- GeoffH150 (6/5): Very good hotel but..... - The hotel itself is in a very convenient position, very close to Pub Street, Old Markets and other attractions. This makes it ideal as a base for exploring the attractions of Siem Reap and surrounds, including Angkor Wat and other temples. Staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly and spoke very adequate English. Our room (Royal Suite) was well equipped and serviced. However, the nightly appearance of 'mobile discos' directly across from the hotel was a distinct disadvantage. The noise started about 10pm and often continued until 5am. with the room vibrating from the sounds. This made adequate sleep very difficult. It's a most unfortunate situation and I would choose another hotel if I was to make a return visit.
- Nicolas (10/5): Great staff and location - I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years and it is always fantastic. It is much better than the price would indicate. Of course it is older than the newer properties but it is quiet, clean, and the staff is so friendly and so helpful. They make you feel like family. The location is great and even though it is close to pub Street, there is very little noise as long as you’re not in the very front rooms. I am from USA and I find this hotel to be every bit as nice as your average Courtyard by Marriott, or Best Western hotel.
- Solean (6/5): Pleasant -
- Richard (7/5): Good - A bit noisy
- Christopher (2/5): Mega Noisy - If you value your sleep whilst open holiday avoid this hotel at all costs Avoid any hotel within 1km of pub street if you want to sleep TBH. Reaksmey is basic but nothing to terrible for the price. Could be cleaner, could be better service but it’s what it is, dirt cheap. If you want to party all night and sleep all day maybe it would be tolerable.
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Ryan (8/5): Very good -
- koalaking (6/5): Old Chestnut still going strong! - Been to this old chestnut a few times over the years. Good thing is, it doesn’t change. You know what to expect. It is still good value for money IMO. Coming from a 5 star hotel a few days earlier in Bangkok I new what to expect. Bed was hard but sleepable, shower nice and hot, the small step down from the bathroom into the room will get you every time lol, the tv on the wall is only their for aesthetics, aircon works fine, no elevator but I prefer the exercise anyway. Be very careful walking down the stairs as there is very poor lighting. The pool area is really nice considering the hotel standard. No fault of the hotel but the noise on the street is ridiculous! Doff, doff going until 4-5 am full on every night by the mobile disco/bar. I can’t believe the police allow this to happen! I feel sorry for the hotels surrounding because they lose customers. Will probably stay again next time I find myself in SR because it is so convenient. Staff are always casual and pleasant. Cheers
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Sokhan (5/5): Passable -
- Jake (1/5): Bad -
- Kimsok (3/5): I hope it will improve - The location The A/C not cool, and I requested for quiet room but still very noisy, i can’t sleep. I asked for change the room but i can’t, because it’s no spare room available. Very disappointed ☹️
- Cathy (1/5): not enjoyable - the location the staff did not understand English at all which I know was a problem but there was no understanding of us
my beding was dirty with blood stains on it. when asked to change it the turned it over.
it was a dirty hotel we were so disappointed that we moved hotel and would not recommend this to anyone
- Rafael (8/5): Very good -
- Eduardo (8/5): Very good - the hotel is just 2 minutes walk from the Pub Street hotel staff
- Emilio (9/5): Superb - We are happy with the choice. We got at the city at 4:30 am and they let us to leave our luggage while we visited Angkor. The location was great, next to the pub street. The room, bathroom and beds were fine. We got fun in the pool.
You get value for the price, I recommend it.
- Eduardo (9/5): Location is excellent and it's a good value for money. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby - The location is very good. When you get out of the hotel - restaurants, convenience store, shops, bars are a few steps from the hotel pool is small but it's ok
- Cormac (8/5): Very good -
- Derek (6/5): Pleasant -
- Zin (9/5): Superb - I like the location and fair price. We can't hire the iron.
- Eduardo (9/5): Superb - The location is very good and very close to Pub street. A short 1 minute walk and you are there in 8th street where lots of restaurants, bars are located Nothing
