Ed258536 (4/5): You will die before you can use the internet - You would think that Best Western would have some type of business class internet. Wrong. Down load was 2. Upload was so slow it would not test it. We had a seminar online tonight. The internet was so low we could not attend the class. The hot water was not hot. I haven't seen that problem in years and year. The price of the Best Western in this location is higher than in many cities. The room was clean and quiet. It could use more plugin for electronics. The staff was friendly.

There was no fridge freezer in the room, but the staff happily stowed our blue ice in a guest freezer downstairs, overnight. Very accommodating. I can't think of anything.

Gym is a treadmill, stationary bike, elliptical and a multi function weight machine with 2-3 options, but no dumbbells or bench. The free breakfast was good, with a menu that changes daily. The entire property honestly looks recently updated and well maintained, which I can say I was not expecting in such a tiny town. Im looking for excuses to visit Dayton again just to stay at this hotel!

I get here Saturday, NOPE couldn’t check in earlier than 2 and if I did it was another $25 ontop of the over priced $350 we already were going to pay. Got to our room with 2 queen beds, one of the beds sheets were filthy with brown stains and 2 out of the 3 key cards didn’t work. No one is ever at the front desk to attend to anyone. Honestly, if my kids weren’t so tired from our trip we would have drove right through and never stayed. This property isn’t worth the $. We should have stayed at one of the low budget motels we saw on the Main Street into Dayton.

I did not receive a phone call letting me know that my room was ready until just after 5 PM two hours after the stated check in time I did not receive an apology nor an offer to compensate me for the time that was lost. I will not be staying at your establishment next time I come to town.

Michael (9/5): The best hotel in Dayton. - Comfortable room, decent shower, well located near the centre of town. Plenty of parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is basic but perfectly good and a coffee machine is available in the lobby at all times. The hotel has a pool for people travelling on vacation. Little not to like. They could maybe serve dinner in the evenings but that's all.

Stacy (8/5): - The room was nice but a little pricey. When i initially arrived at the property, I wasn't able to check in right away. There was no one at the desk, and there was a sign saying to pick up the phone on another desk to alert them. I completely understand being short-staffed and the employees having to be away from the desk to do other tasks, but when i picked up the indicated phone, there was just a busy signal. I tried several times and was unable to reach a person. I left for about half an hour and came back. When I returned, there was someone at the desk and I was able to check in smoothly, though the attendant did not give me directions to the location of my room.

Michael (7/5): Great facilities, terrible reception. - Place was clean, lots of parking, if it weren't for the receptionist, I would have had a great experience! I wasn't going to write this review, but within seconds of entering the lobby, I had decided that I'd think twice before ever staying at a Best Western again. When I entered, the woman behind the counter was addressing an older gentleman in the same sort of condescending tone you hear when someone is dealing with a very annoying 5-year old. Apparently, she had made a big point during his check-in to point out that he could use gotten a lower rate if he hadn't used some travel app to find the hotel. The gentleman was clearly angry and struggling to keep a civil demeanor, and naturally the receptionist was clueless. The older gentleman leaves rather dissatisfied and guess what I was told at least FOUR times during check-in? That the receptionist could see that I used Booking.com and she wasn't one to judge but I could have gotten a lower rate by calling Best Western directly. She was clearly too limited to see that she was being CRASS (a word seldom used these days) and that she also couldn't expect every traveler to call every hotel directly while traveling in the hopes they would find a good rate. I was pretty well pissed off by the time she got done checking me in. But there's no point arguing with people like that, they live in their own little worlds.

Phillip (10/5): - We didn't plan to stay in Dayton, we were on our way home from Riggins, ID but it was hot, and we were hungry and thirsty. It was a great decision to sit still and the Best Western was clean, quiet, convenient and cool. The pool area was abandoned and spotless. We loved this place, perfect stay to cap off a week's worth of touring on the big bike.
aregla (10/5): Great stay in Dayton - We were more than pleasantly surprised at our hotel stay in Dayton. The room was clean, swimming pool was nice for the children. Breakfast was good and the dining room was a pleasant space to eat in.
