I planned for only two nights just in case we did not like the hotel or the neighborhood. I ended up extending my stay at the hotel for an additional three nights. My partner and I loved the excellent staff attention and professionalism. The hotel is exceptionally clean. The neighborhood is tranquil and it felt safe. The hotel is in a good location to either go downtown or uptown to some great bars and restaurants. Overall, I was impressed and would certainly return.

I was on the 6th floor which meant I had to walk up a flight of stairs with bad knees. At night the light senses only come on when you are almost at the stairs, very dangerous. The room was old and outdated. I had a hole in the roof the size of a criket ball. One of the bedroom lights keep flickering. The safe was small and had a key. On the plus side the room was big and had a good selection of t.v. channels. I wouldn't stay here again and wouldn't recommend it.

- Jean (6/5): Situation centrale à Bogota - Je connais cet hôtel depuis 7 ou 8 ans. La situation me convient à proximité d’un arrêt du Transmilenium. Le personnel a toujours été aimable et il le reste. Le petit-déjeuner a cessé d’être servi sous forme de buffet et il est maintenant très limité. L’hôtel a vieilli et demande des investissements qui s’accompagneront forcément d’une hausse du prix. Cette fois ma chambre donnait à l’arrière du bâtiment et sans double vitrage, dès 5h30, il était impossible de dormir.

- Annette (8/5): Friendly clean comfortable hotel in safe location - I chose this hotel for a 4 night stay in Bogota because I wanted to be in a safe location but fairly central close to the Transmilenio. The twin room was very clean and comfortable, the bathroom spacious with very hot water and a very powerful shower. The reception staff were friendly and helpful and there were always a couple of private taxis with trustworthy drivers waiting outside. The hotel sent a driver to collect me at the airport - which I am glad I arranged. The only negative is that there are no restaurants open at night close by, and the hotel restaurant lacks atmosphere. Although once I was confident that I wouldn't be murdered, the walk to the Macarena district and restaurants was 15 minutes. I would stay here again..

It was reasonably priced and clean with reasonably comfortable beds. The room was very large with a separate sitting area with table. The lights did not work at first but they fixed them quickly. I cannot recommend paying for the included breakfast; it was very limited.

- SC Traveler (6/5): Good Hotel with Crucial Limitations - This is a very lovely hotel with a good location and a terrific hot breakfast and a fantastic location. Yet, there are several "buts". 1. No hot water, even after asking daily 2. Non-English speaking staff 3. Room was not cleaned on weekends 4. My plane was canceled and rebooked the next day. They charged for the missed night and would not allow me to extend my stay, even though the hotel was practically empty. Would I stay again; only if there are no available rooms elsewhere.

It is in a very safe neighbourhood that is walking distance (if you fancy it) to the city centre and the fancy restaurants/bars of Chapinero in the opposite direction. It cost us 24,000 pesos from the airport. If eating close to the restaurant and not interested in fast food type places, I would go for dinner no later than 7pm. We seemed to always get to restaurants as they were closing pretty early! The staff were very friendly here and the rooms, beds very comfortable. Warm water comes and goes but we really had a great stay here.

The layout of the bathroom in the room I was in meant you kind of had to crawl around the sink to get into the shower, but once you did it was amazing! honestly best water pressure I've felt in a decade and most of the time there was hot water. The staff were all friendly, accomodating, and welcoming. I had a bit of trouble understanding Colombian-style Spanish as I'm accustomed to Mexican Spanish, but the staff was patient, kind, helpful, and at least one of the attendants at the front desk spoke English, with the others understanding a bit as well. Breakfast was simple and straightforward: 4 of the 5 days we had eggs scrambled with ham and cheese, some reprocessed orange juice, breads, coffee and fruit. The guys working the restaurant area were attentive, extremely friendly, always greeted us with a smile, etc. A note about the elevator situation: there are only elevators on one half of the building. We were on the 9th floor (really only 4 stories up) but with no elevator which was both a pain and good exercise! Overall, the hotel was clean, in a safe area, and with friendly service. The rooms were pretty small and the beds lumpy at best, but I was extatic to find extra pillows tucked in the closet and a high pressure shower. I would stay there again.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice hotel - Staff was friendly but I was disappointed with the rooms, they didn't look like the ones at the Expedia site. And if you are coming to the embassy this is not 3 miles away its much farther. Your best option is to ask a taxi at the airport and they take you to closest hotels to the embassy which are much better with better rates. It's ok for 1 or 2 days business travel.
- Rob (8/5): A good hotel in bogota - This hotel was good, and when there was a question on the room charge they looked at the expedia form and honored it. Saff we great and went out of their way to make my stay great. I am going back in November and will most likely stay here again.
