Guest Reviews
- G (4/5): transit hotel - minimal facilities, location within slum neighborhood, only good for transitting due to its closeness towards Indira gandhi International Airport ( IGI)
- Prexy (6/5): - Nice hotel. comfortable room only problem was the bathroom floor was wet from a leak in the toilet. I didn't even bother telling the front desk I was tired and had to catch a flight early in the morning.
- Jennifer (8/5): Good Airport Hotel Though Pricey Taxi Transfers - My husband and I had 12 hours between flights to kill so rather than waiting around the airport we checked in to Hotel SK Crown Park.
Pros: It was close to the airport, modern, clean, had great WiFi and a good restaurant. It was also important that we were able to pay for taxis, airport transfers and food on credit card as it was our last day in India and we had very little remaining currency. Customer service at the front desk and the restaurant was great.
Cons: Not really a con for us because we were just using a room to chill, but the local area was unremarkable (in my brief impression) for touristic endeavors. The big con was the pricey taxi transfers. When we arrived in Delhi two weeks prior, we stayed in Chandi Chowk and our hotel gave us a free ride to Old Delhi (45 minutes +/- in heavy traffic). The shuttle to this hotel was about 20 minutes on an expressway, and pick-up cost 600 rupees + parking (200 rupees - despite the posted airport sign saying 30 minutes is only 80 rupees) and drop off cost 500 (plus tips of course). So at the end of the day, the airport transfers cost as much as the hotel room.
- mohamad masi (2/5): Hotel is not what it looks on pictures - Room was not clean. The bed was broken. Wifi never work right. Electricity keeep going off
- Verified traveler (4/5): Hotel under re-branding - Changing ownership of hotel to an SK property. During our one night stay - there was no internet, with some difficulty to change ₹2000 note and the morning breakfast was very limited. The hotel is structurally very nice and spacious. But with this transition, if they cannot make improvements to the internet (it has to work to get basic tasks for foreigners - e.g. uber) and improve kitchen, not worth staying. Thanks.
- Olwen (10/5): Comfortable and clean hotel. - Imran at reception was very welcoming and helpful. Top marks to Imran!
- Amarjit Singh (6/5): OK hotel for just sleeping over - The stay was ok! The room was clean, but dining options at the hotel or in the nearby areas were very limited. The ambience mall nearby (around 10km) is a good place for shopping and dining, but transport options from the hotel were limited! There is no airport shuttle available!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Food is ok - one small mouse was ruining around,Bathroom drain was jam, remaining are ok.
- Francesco (2/5): Horrendous - do not stay! - This hotel is absolutely horrendous, from the service to the comfort. I arrived at the hotel early in the morning after spending 7 hours getting through the airport due to a lost boarding pass. I asked at the hotel if it was possible to have a late checkout considering my ordeal, and they said no problem. I promptly asked for the WiFi password, hoping to relax and take my mind off the long night I had spend at the airport. The hotel advertises WiFi and air conditioning. The rooms have neither! My room was boiling, and I began to sweat immediately. I tried to connect to the WiFi with the password that the receptionist gave me, but without any luck. I called reception, and he told me it only worked in the lobby! I asked him if that might've been helpful to tell me prior to giving me the password, but to no avail. Normal check-out time is at 11, and at 10:55 I received a call telling me that if I wanted to check out late, I'd have to pay an extra day, even though the other receptionist told me there was no problem. From start to finish this was a horrible experience, and I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to stay at this absolutely horrendous hotel. Stay away. Pay a little more and stay in comfort at one of the more established hotels near the airport.
- Armstrong (10/5): MR - my stay was great! but was very disappointed on the last day, while we were leaving, we were promised the complimentary drop off at the airport but when we came the attendant at the front office April/13, mid night , he was very rude to us, he even charged us Taxi Money, we tried to tell him we were given complimentary drop off but he refused.
my name is Joseph Kamau
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok for one night stay not far from airport - We have booked a room with free airport pick up, but we had to arrive to the hotel ourselves, so we asked for free airport drop off, that was kindly allowed to us. It is a very much average hotel, that looks rather empty and quiet. It is ok for one night stay, especially if you have a flight next morning, as it is very close to the airport and you don't have to spend hours in traffic.
I would not stay there longer, or for any other reason, as the location is only good if you have to stay close to the airport. And the rooms and facilities could be much cleaner...
- David (2/5): Did not hold prepaid reservation - Going there at 1:30 am, I was told that they had not kept a room available. They said they would refund my payment, but did not. Now, two months later, Hotels.com is refunding my fee. I hope they stop doing business with this hotel.
- Andrii (6/5): Poor experience - We arranged a taxi from the airport which was delayed by at least an hour with lots of confusion. He wanted to charge extra for parking as the person we hired referred his relative to pick us up. Traffic to the hotel was horrific due to weddings along the road to the hotel, we were exhausted. When we arrived an hour later the sheets were not clean but they did change them when we asked. We ordered food late which was a positive. The neighborhood was very loud with sounds of firecrackers going off all night. Hot water did not work after the first night. The hotel was helpful in arranging a sightseeing taxi and allowed us to pay for dinner on credit since it was our last night in India.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Be prepared for cold showers. There was a sign in the bathroom that hot water will take a while to reach the room but it never arrived despite being assured by the front desk after I called them. The night shift that checked us in also did not make arrangements for a 5.30am taxi to take us to the airport. Good for a no-frills one night stay en route to somewhere else.
- Inna (2/5): Terrible place, avoid it - I stayed there because I had an overnight layover in Delhi airport. They promised that it was within 2 kilometers from the airport, but it was much further. Their taxi pick up never showed up. I waited for it an hour at the airport and ended up taking another taxi at the airport.
Everything in this hotel was dirty and old. Even towels were dirty. The view was a wall. There was no hot water, and when I asked the receptionist to fix it, he said he'll take care of it. Well, I never got any warm water at all, took cold shower.
The only good thing was the breakfast - decent food and a with a very attentive server. However the receptionist was completely indifferent to my concerns.
They should charge 500 not 3000 for a night in this hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Really really bad - The overall experience in the hotel was bad
U dont get water in the bathroom
And if u get the water is logged
- Bee (6/5): A little below middle of the road standards - Staff is pleasant enough and check-in wuick, but they fail to relay important information. Room looks nice and clean on 1st glance but once in bed sheets look unclean with hair and stains, towels are disgusting and hard (luckily o brought my own), and floor in the shower looks gross. The stay was quiet without street noise impeding my 1 night layover sleep. Ok for a layover, but I would not stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Hotel close to shops and markets - Although a language barrier they try very hard to accommodate guests, I wold stay there again and would recommend
- William (6/5): Buffet Meals were quick and tasty. - Admittedly it was the last available room in the hotel, but when I booked I asked for a quiet room. What I got was a room that had an adjoining door (albeit locked) to a room where noisy conference participants talked until after midnight. Following that a steady stream of mosquitoes disturbed my sleep. The food at the restaurant was good. But I don't think I'll go back
- Traveller (4/5): Hotel - Not as close to the airport as expected and the area it is located in has no restaurants or shops nearby. Room size was OK but hot water is only available on request, a time needs to be booked and there were several nails sticking out of the floor. The restaurant service is slow up to 2 hours before an order materializes and the food is a disappointment to say the least. The rooms are cold, no heat unless you are able to get a small plug in heater.
- Robert (6/5): Ok hotel - Nice hotel, although there didn't seem to be any hot water on the night we stayed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to airport - Staff great, friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided as well as airport pick up. Ideal for when arriving late or early morning.
- sandip (8/5): Food r good but very. Costly - It's good hotel with affordable rates
- Verified traveler (2/5): Good location near airport. But unfriendly staff - Good hotel location near airport. But unfriendly staff.
- Barb (8/5): Smallish but nice - I really liked this hotel. It is not fancy on the outside but is very comfortable on the inside. It was quiet, clean and nicely furnished. It is about 15 minutes from the airport.
I arrived by taxi at about midnight and it looked to be in a shady neighborhood. But in the daylight the neighborhood was a normal looking area (for Delhi). The staff were attentive and spoke English. Security was also good and I felt very safe and I am an older female travelling alone.
I couldn't get the WiFi to work in my room because the signal was too weak. This may have been due to where my room was - at the end of the hall. The WiFi worked just fine in the lobby.
- Terry (6/5): Nice hotel-strange check in - Ok nice hotel-wanted to take our photos at check in. Knocked our door at midnight asking for a signing in signature??
- Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic - Most comfortable rollaway bed ever. Location is great - near the airport - and the shuttle driver was prompt (and safe). It has been newly remodeled and was clean and tidy - lots of attention to detail.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel was good and well maintained. The charges for pick up and drop at airport was high. The credit card machine wasnt working in the morning. How do they expect us to carry cash for all our bills?
- jon (10/5): praise the lord - amazing
- Jorge (4/5): ok if only care for bed - A/C was not working, floor was dirty, room was really hot.
- Claire (10/5): Hotel was great! Location was tricky... - The hotel itself, its staff, and its service were great! Its location was a bit tricky for the cab driver to find from the airport. I highly recommend that you take the Pitrashish Pride up on their offer for complimentary cab service. Because I had used a different prepaid cab to get there, they also very kindly offered me complimentary return service to the airport. I was surprised to see so few other guests staying here during my booking. Maybe it was the location or the competing big-name chains nearby. I recommend you give them some business.
- Verified traveler (4/5): I did not like the location . Its in bad Locality - I was not happy with the location. There was no public transportation with near location . Its very difficult to get there if we do not have own vehicle . The restaurant food was too oily . One cannot eat . There is no smoking zone . If someone has to smoke he is go out the hotel on road and then smoke .Staff is good and helpful . But u cannot get out of the hotel .
- james (8/5): Relaxing and very handy for airport - We finished our trip to India with a sightseeing trip round Delhi and a drop off at this hotel for our final night before flying home.It was very pleasant, relaxing and 15 mins from terminal 3. the staff were friendly and efficient with good food and service. It was a great place for our final stop.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Surprisingly nice! - Unlike most hotels in India, this one actually Did look like the pictures on the Internet. The room was modern, very clean, just a joy to be here. The room service food was excellent! Also, they have free airport pickup. Drop off will be overly priced but... Not a big problem. Only downsides are : very minimal breakfast and the pillows were insanely fat... Meaning you won't be able to rest your head comfortably at that angle.
- Alok (4/5): Average hotel - We booked this hotel as it was described as around 2.7 kms from the international. But it was actually 6 kms and took around 15 mins drive to the airport. The room was comfortable and clean but the location is not great. The checkin process required filling in 2 forms and getting our photos taken which didn't make sense. The reception staff didn't even bother explaining why they had to take our photos or ask us to fill in those forms. When asked their short explanation was that it is required by the law.
The other hotel staff were nice though and food wasn't bad either. But due to location and cumbersome checkin process I don't think we will oh back there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Worth the money. - Friendly staff. If you're on a tight budget, would recommend.
- Kay (6/5): Good enough for overnight... - We stayed at the Hotel Pitrashish Pride overnight because we arrived in Delhi in the afternoon and had to wait until the next day for our flight to Varanasi. The staff provided a free cab to pick us up at the airport, and only charged us RS750 to take us back the next day, so that part was easy. The area that surrounds the hotel is quite sketchy though, so we didn't venture out much beyond the front door. The room was fine (clean), but our window looked onto a grey concrete wall, and there were very loud booms later in the evening that lasted for about an hour. We were assured they were just fireworks, but they must have been really close by because they were louder than any fireworks I have ever heard! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and tried desperately to help us get the wifi to work, which it finally did, sort of. The breakfast was OK, but "free" so I can't complain. Overall, it was an inexpensive way to wait 24 for our next flight. I would recommend this place to anyone who isn't real picky, but just wants a decent place to crash.
- Gaby Saborio (8/5): AIRPORT - I just needed a clean place close to the airport and for the money I payed it really surprised me... place is clean, well maintained, staff is friendly and efficient... it was much more than I expected. The neighborhood is not nice, but if you don´t want to explore Delhi from there it works out excellent
- Verified traveler (2/5): Misleading reviews - You will be disappointed.
- Verified traveler (2/5): No hot water - No hot water at an airport hotel - unacceptable.
- Ron Wesner (4/5): not far from airport, terrible street - Mixed review, communications problem within the staff so I was double charged for the room and had to argue with staff and managment to clarify and redeem double payment
- April (8/5): Decent airport hotel - Decent hotel for the price, good service and food., but the water doesn't really warm up.
- sbhattacharya (10/5): Comfortable stay - We were impressed by the service, except the hot water. There is no running hot water in the room. The hotel staff needs to be notified before you want hot water, they turn on the boiler after that.
- Steve c (10/5): Close to airport great location and nice restauran - All is fine. Nice hotel for the great price
- Verified traveler (8/5): friendly and helpful staff - This will be our go to hotel in Delhi! The staff was so helpful and friendly. Hotel transportation from airport to hotel was a wonderful bonus! We arrived at 4 a.m. and it took all of 10 minutes to check in! Our room was nice and clean and the shower was hot! Couldn't ask for better service.
- Aks (10/5): - All Good!
- American Tourist (2/5): Only for one night! - There were foul-ups galore! Finally got a room, but there was a mouse in it!!!! Good location. Okay breakfast.
- Yvonne and Anand (8/5): Very good service and great location for airport - Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Hotel emaculate with western standards. Pickup from airport was a great help when arriving in the night. Very good food and great ambience. If there was one thing that could make this a wonderful hotel, would be for the staff to clearly communcate to the guests that the hot water may take 30 min to heat up.
- neil (8/5): great place for a quick stay - If you are only needing a place to stay overnight before or after a flight to Delhi, this would be good. Located very close to the airport, it was very clean and modern. The only challenge is that there is very little around. Overall, great friendly staff and the restaurant had good food as well, breakfast was a bit on the basic side though.
- Neil (10/5): Great place to stay by the airport - If you only need a place to stay by the airport, this is your place. About 10mins away from the airport, even in traffic. Nothing around the hotel so be prepared to stay in the room which is quite comfortable.
