- Nicholas (8/5): - We have been to these apartments 5 times. This time we had 2 rooms as our young adult children shared a different room. They made sure we were next door which was great as that meant they upgraded one room. We love it here for the location, balcony views, good little kitchen and good air con and clean. So why 4 stars - this is because there was a 3-day delay fixing one aircon unit and a bathroom door due to issues getting hold of their maintenance person which was not great. But otherwise all good and we would come again. I do think some of the rooms will soon need work on them and one oddity was a newish kitchen had only one plug socket for 4 appliances! There is a car park next door at 8 euros a day or a feee one 5 mins walk away.

- Greg (10/5): - Stayed for one night as holiday villa unavailable for that night. Marilou was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel for our party of six. Location is perfect. We’d have no hesitation in staying here again.

- Sherelle (2/5): - There was undisclosed extensive building work going on directly under the building which meant banging and drilling sarted at 6.45am EVERY single morning and lasted the best part of the day. I was woken every morning and i was unable to call home from my room because I couldnt hear. I was unable to watch TV in my room, because I couldnt hear. On top of that the room and furniture is very tired and not like pictures posted, i.e. sofa posted but just a chair in room. Chips and dents everywhere in flooring and walls and the bathroom trimings were green or rusty. Bath looked dirty but it wasnt , just was in terrible condition. The staff are wonderful. 5 star staff. I communicated regarding not being told abot building work. I viisted for rest post surgery and was unable to rest at all. I would have stayed elsewhere if i was told. My initial email was replied to, stating to message again on Modnay as the manager isnt around. I emailed a further 5 times and they were all ignored.

- KYRIAKOS (4/5): - Unfortunately one of the worst places I have stayed. Although its location is excellent (1 minute from the sea, close to restaurants, clubs, etc.), the hotel looks like is falling apart. The furniture in the rooms is old and worn while the sofas are dirty and blackened. Τhe cleanliness is their biggest problem since it is not done with care but they just change the sheets. The sink and toilet in my room were not cleaned for 3 days and the balcony probably for days. Τhe stove is rusty and the tables in the kitchen full of marks from dishes. the floor of the balcony is blackened. Τhe room they gave me was on the first floor and when you opened the door it filled with smoke and smells from the restaurants right below and the noise was incredibly annoying. I asked to be taken to a higher floor but they could not. The elevator is particularly slow while the second one was not working. The people at the reception were nice but they couldn't make me have a good time. The place needs a radical renovation of furniture, a good organization of cleanliness and an improvement of the image inside and out. iam sure i will never stay again in this hotel!!! I would give to it a very low rating
- Sandra (6/5): - Unfortunately for us Pizza Hut, who occupy the area below the hotel, was being renovated. This meant 6am wake ups and banging/drilling throughout the day. We were unable to enjoy breakfast on our balcony (having been to the shops on arrival and stocked up) and only had one decent nights sleep. Not helping was the noise that came through the windows despite the rooms having double glazing. The rooms are not cleaned as per a regular hotel. The bathroom was not cleaned, just 'blue' put down the toilet and the floors were dirty. The bathroom and shower lacked shelving and the hotel needs updating in general. Our kitchen area was not in good condition and the cupboards smelt musty. Overall, if you don't mind noise and the room not being cleaned very well then this hotel could be for you. The only good thing is it's location to the beach and restaurants.
- Melanie (10/5): - This was a great place to stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was huge. I had a very large room/balcony also. It was right across the street from the beach, so I could go back and forth throughout the day, There was lots of coffee and restaurants nearby, as well as a small grocery to buy bananas and yogurt for breakfast. I got along great with many in the reception as well. I also had an amazing massage/body scrub and a mani/pedi with Natalia! I will stay here next time for sure.
- ELENA (4/5): - Unfortunately, I cannot give this place more than two stars and that's because of the horrendous noise that came from underneath our flat. Even though we did flag to the receptionists the fact that we are being woken up by the contractors at 6AM, they stated that they couldn't do anything and said : " Welcome to Cyprus!! Apparently, in Cyprus there is no noise law for silly o'clock! When asked if we could change the room or anything, they just apologise and did nothing!! We understood their position that they weren't to be blamed for the contractors, however we paid for the whole duration of our stay and we went there to relax not to tormented by the noise. Having shops/ restaurants that are part of the same building, they should take some responsibility!! I would've given this place a higer score but for being indifferent to our requests to be moved or even to do something about it, I cannot give more than two stars. The only good thing about this place is the location. As soon as you come out from the building, you cross the street and there you are, on the beach. The apartment itself is very outdated and could do with at least new furniture but otherwise I would say that everything was clean, which made a difference. Be aware, if you stay at least on the 1st floor, you will hear noise from outside and also from the corridors!! There are shops and restaurants just outside and part of the same building! The noise wont stop until approximately 2AM

- Marina (2/5): - Completely different room as to what has been advertised /shown on the website photos. Hardly furnished appartment, dark, with dirty floors, peeling paint, faded out curtains that are badly hung - truly something that you’d see in an 80s horror movie. My kids were too scared to stay in there, but we managed to convince them it’s only 1 night, and we’ll be ok if we barricaded the front door… Entry hall: very dark and dingy, dirty looking tiles, old outdated kitchen. Pleasant armchairs and table. Kitchen: very old (probably 80’s) poorly fitted cupboards, no proper stove or cooker - not like seen on the website at all. Kettle and toaster have seen better days, but both were in working condition. Although the fridge was clean, it was warm and did not cool down throughout our stay. Lots of various pots and pans, although we didn’t use any. Glasses are all mismatched, from various sets, including a Nutella glass. Lounge/ living area: 2 seater, very basic sofa, that smelled of sweat; tiny veneered dining table, coffee and side tables - all from different furniture sets. Falling off the ceiling router. Bedrooms: the beds were somewhat comfortable and the bedding was clean. If it wouldn't have been to the load spouting and music outside - we would’ve slept very well. Balcony: peeling paint, replaced light fittings with old paint still visible (really poor finishes). Table and chairs and clean. Friendly, very helpful staff and central location were the only positives.
- soniakG5598TA (8/5): Clean, Spacious 2 bed apartment, in a great location! - We stayed for 10 days, today is our last day. Our flight is late this evening and they were happy to extend our stay for a small fee so we could chill a r the beach for the afternoon. The 3 bed apartment is really spacious and cleaned daily, there is a sink, small hobs and fridge/freezer available and a TV in the lounge area. The towels were changed regularly and floors cleaned often. However despite how often they mopped, we still picked up dirt/dust on our feet when walking around but we are right next to the beach so could be sand from outside flying in from the balcony? They sell water at reception which is always cold and cheaper than the local shops! Although some nights were loud due to neighbouring tavernas and being right on Finekoudes, it wasn’t unbearable. I would recommend staying here and would certainly visit again.

We stayed for 3 nights and it constantly smelt of sewers and ceased the whole time we was there! We stayed on the top floor and from the first time we walked in until the last it smelt like sh*t! Do not stay here!!!

- Christina (8/5): Good location and responsive staff - Nice property in the beach area near restaurants and Larnaca castle. While I asked for a twin room, they did not have that information. They moved us to a nicer room and everything worked out. This was the second time that the request for two beds was not transferred from the Hotels(dot)com site to the property.

- 527aristeidisk (2/5): Cleanliness, hot water, maintenance issues - - Cleanliness: The room wasn’t kept clean. The white tiles were deep stained with dirt. At the start we thought they were aged, but after careful inspection we realized that they were dirty. The cleaning lady, when she fixed our bed linens, she just made the top white linen and didn’t make the underneath linens leaving them as it was after we woke up. Balcony’s condition was below par, dirty, the roof’s paint was peeling off, the outside A/C unit was rusty. Also the kitchen furniture at the bottom were stained, the mini oven’s glass from the inside was rusty, and a paint patch on the roof below the A/C - Room condition: Room is old fashioned with the furniture needing replacement and an overall renovation much needed. Some fixtures are broken, stained/salty. - Maintenance: We didn’t have hot water when we returned to the room after evening because the hot water run out. We had to wait until the morning when the tank would have been full again.

- 1956aleksandar (2/5): SUN HALL BEACH APTS = DISASTER - It is not at all clear to me how, as an experienced traveler, I allowed myself to book (and pay in advance) a stay in something like this? Also, it remains unclear how I got to the room with a view of the garbage. (it's even worse for travelers from rooms above the garbage dump that overlook the beautiful pool they can't use). In my "apartment" number 23, apart from the disgusting "view", I was horrified by the cracked walls, old, cheap and stained furniture, ants everywhere, broken air conditioners, mold in the bathroom and the stale smell in the dirty wardrobes. The TV screen is barely bigger than a laptop. A bathroom with a moldy ceiling and cracked tiles is a separate story. Where else is there a warning not to throw used toilet paper into the toilet bowl?! I can't even imagine that something like this is even offered for rent, especially for that price. When choosing, I saw a nice hallway and entrance door, a romantic photo of breakfast on the terrace with a view of the sea, but in reality none of that, that apparently only applies to some other apartments in this accommodation delusion. I only found out later that they put the same photos in different rooms! It is obvious that the purpose is to entice you to come there? That's why the message to everyone is: AVOID SUN HALL APTS. especially apartment number 23 on the 3rd floor!

Was billed twice for stay but we rectified that quickly. One 3cm soap was never replaced. Had to find our own. After cleaning, maid left balcony doors open which had access from corridor. Loud music from nearby clubs until midnight approx.. Trolly in corridor 5am (only one morning). Balcony view of garbage area and parking garage. Missing tv remote. I reported it it twice andwas told it would be looked at but after 6 days we got nothing.

- Lefteris (2/5): - The property was unsafe, had a live broken electric socket, broken glass in lift lobby throughout the whole two weeks holiday, the fire exits were blocked by the cleaners trolleys 24/7 and the communication from the staff was horrendous. They had no respect or empathy on the issues raised and just kept telling us there is nothing they could do. Please avoid at all costs

- Benyaella (8/5): Worth the money - We came very late and had reserved a big apartment which was very nice and convenient. Plenty of space for a family of 4 with 2 kids. The AC was working and the staff was very polite. Will recommend to anyone looking for a place in the city center.
- Joanne (4/5): - A friend and I booked a 10 night stay, each in our own room. Over the course of our stay, there were 7 big bugs in my room and 2 big bugs in my friend’s room. The property is not in good condition and is in need of repair, and also updating. We have our dirty clothes to the lobby personnel to be sent for laundering. We were told we’d get them back within 3 days but 3 days later, it was discovered that our clothes had not be sent out. No one took responsibility for this error and had an attitude about it. Also, once the clothes were brought back to us, they included someone else’s pants. The hotel owner is the one that has the laundry service. They limit the towels they give you. My friend didn’t receive a fresh towel (fresh towels given every 2 days) and they told her they did give her a new towel and made a big deal about it, even though giving a customer a fresh towel on request should not be an issue. The service and attitude by Maria, a supervisor, in particular was rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place to anyone and would never stay there again.
- Leslie (8/5): - Loved the location the main lady in charge was very nice. There were some communication issues the first evening, but were resolved and exceeded the expectations. However I did have to ask several times (needed bedding for my daughter which I had messaged and confirmed with hotel the day prior to no avail finally after the third time and the urgency of my daughter slipping on the shower upon entry the lady downstairs in charge came to check on her and explain the correct foot towel wasn’t in the shower and that we didn’t have one she brought several) my 5 year old daughter had a huge goose egg on the back of her head which terrified us, I came very close to going to the urgent care but watched her closely and she was fine the next day. The room is very very stuffy and hot without the key left in the room in slot to keep the electricity on I cannot imagine how anyone can sleep that way as I takes time to cool it down you will not have if you go out for any length of time. The location is perfect and I would go back with the things in mind I learned. Our beds were cleaned as well as rooms daily. The property and the rooms were very clean. The shower is half open with water and it spreads throughout the bathroom that is a huge safety issue and flaw. The parking is nonexistent but you can pay next door. I would definitely would consider coming back as I said however I would have safety easier ahead of time as I did after the accident.
- lesliebR2471TO (8/5): Extensive review from July 2024 - My husband myself and our 5 year old daughter stayed 4 days here in July we are actually about to leave right now for the airplane one of the reasons we picked this place is location to airport and right on the beach and promenade. The good: location to everything and beach including airport and restaurants on the promenade and throughout the compact city of Larnaca (do go outside the promenade for true Greek cuisine, but do not miss the ones inside too we especially like Alexander for dinner and the Tuck Inn for breakfast. All the positives are worth it. It’s not the Hilton as you know so don’t expect those things. Our room was cleaned daily, and sheets with towels and trash bins changed as well. Very spacious, with hairdryer upon request. Refrigerator a stove top and fridge bedding and sofa with desk and chair and plenty of outlets as well as the couch let out into a trundle bed for our daughter. Television with many English speaking and otherwise channels probably the best television we have had in a “hotel” as far as channels go. A terrace overlooking the promenade and beach. Easily walkable to anything in reach of promenade as it’s right below. Also a little sitting area again so much space. Very clean. You can buy water bottles downstairs for the kettle as well as there is dishes and toaster. We didn’t use the toiletries as we had our own but there is enough for one day if you use those. Also there are massages available for 40€ an hour.Large The negatives: the terrace is HOT and humid not just due to the weather in July but due to the AC feeding back into the space making it intolerable for relaxing on we smoke though so that was at least accessible but you won’t stay on there but to do what you need to and rush back in. The floor is tiled which makes it very very very slippery so please be aware of your footing. Again it was always very clean throughout. Very limited staff, which means if you need something wait in line or don’t expect it at all as I waited on an extra blanket for two days and never got that. The lady with dark hair that seemed to be over everything was very nice and very accommodating however she was clearly overwhelmed by the phone calls and requests always so she needs additional help to accommodate anything. Our first insights were very spacious and clean nothing extra very dorm like down to the furniture and the room itself. The shower does pool around into the bathroom so be careful our first night our 5 year old fell and bumped her head leaving a huge goose egg on the back of her head which terrified me, the lady downstairs was very accommodating again she said you must put the foot towels inside the shower which means a wet towel under your feet always we didn’t have one that night and didn’t realize this was completely terrifying for myself and my daughter as we contemplated urgent care. The lady brought us those things we needed that evening and checked on my daughter also the bed on couch wasn’t made even though we contacted and verified with the apartments the day prior so at bedtime after the reminders twice that day and her fall we got them. After that everything went smoothly. Again HOT the sun faces our side which we wanted but didn’t account for the mugginess in the room which was constant as we couldn’t leave our key in the air conditioning slot while we spent days on beach and it took all day to cool so it will be hot. There are kiosks throughout to promenade to get things to drink including water for coffee etc if you don’t buy downstairs. Again after working through it all I would stay again but so important to remember those things I mentioned.

- O1621OZpaulm (10/5): Absolutely perfect. - Absolutely brilliant. I stayed for two weeks and loved every minute. My studio was very clean, and the cleaners came every couple of days to sort out sheets and towels and generally clean the place. Every member of staff was professional helpful and polite at all times. The beach is right across the road, and you have about a hundred restaurants within walking distance. Please ignore any negative reviews, if you expect a five star hotel go and stay in the Radisson for €1200 a week. I have been in lots of hotels in Cyprus over the years, but I will be staying here from now on.

- 85KarenP (2/5): Horrendous! Give it a miss. - I'll start with the positive, beds quite comfortable and clean sheets every 4 days. Didn't dare look at the mattress though. Plenty of hot water. Location was great. Very disappointed with everything else. On arrival I complained about the room and was told I had booked an economy studio room! Absolutely nowhere on my booking confirmation did it mention economy, I showed the reception staff my booking confirmation but they insisted I had booked economy and there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. We had booked 11 nights and we know of 2 rooms on our floor that we're not occupied so not quite the truth. My other complaint was about cleanliness especially the floor, we were told by reception that they would arrange for it to be cleaned but it wasn't for the whole time we were there! We had a couple of cockroachs and found mouse droppings. Facilities:- bathroom lacking in storage just one tiny shelf over the sink and although plenty of hot water the over the bath shower was old with a narrow spray and the shower screen did not seal properly so a big puddle on the floor after every shower. Very,very basic kitchen facilities, thank goodness we didn't want to cook. There was a brand new kettle and toaster though. The kitchen cupboards were extremely tatty and in definate need of refurbishment. We always book a balcony as it's important to us but what we got was a metre square space! In nobodies world could this be called a balcony!! Just enough room for the 2 very tatty old plastic chairs which we did not use as it was so unpleasant and filthy dirty. There wasn't even enough room to put up the airer completely. There is a note on the door regarding the room key which is very harsh and unfriendly which I think says alot about how they feel about their guests. The public spaces are lovely, very well decorated, styled and very clean it's a shame they cannot have the same standards and pride in the rooms.

We had a pretty good experience here, and would consider coming back. +: • Right at Finikoudes beach with a lot of stores, restaurants just outside the hotel • Comfortable beds • Big apartment with balcony • Nice reception and workers • Overall clean • Massage available in hotel -: • Cold rooms • No soundproof, I barely slept the two nights we were there due to people shouting and partying + cars driving fast right outside • The shower leaked while showering • Furniture a little worn down and to not working Overall this was a very good experience and for the price we were very pleased. Just wish there were more soundproofing because I got very little sleep.

- peterU6302KA (4/5): Poor and noisy - Completely refurbished? Maybe, back in 1976.... noisy apartment block, no sound absorbing material, every noise echoes. We were given a room overlooking the rubbish compactors at the back of the hotel, loud machinery at various times throughout the night. Reception polite but not helpful. Bed OK but everything very tired, poor selection of cutlery, pots and pans etc, I guess everyone eats out. No room decoration to speak of, bare walls, not comfortable. I am sure you can do better. Beach nearly crowded and narrow, walk south for better sand, fewer people and nicer experience.

It still lacked that attention to detail but was much bigger than the last room and the furniture didn't look like it came out of skip like the last room. The balcony was more than double the size of the last room. Not sure how a superior room can be the same price as the last one we were in? If I were to return if I'd insist on this room again.

The apartments are spotless and the staff very friendly , however the only thing that lets them down is that they could all do with an upgrade. They look tired, the furniture old and depressing to stay too long in. Attention to detail was very poor, the plumbing of the sink was coming away from the wall, the clothes rail to hang your wet clothes on the balcony was rusty. We found clothes left in the drawers from previous occupants which obviously shows a lack of thoroughness. Shame really as they could be lovely apartments to stay in.

- Chris2484 (8/5): You cannot go wrong. Location is perfect. - The Sun hall apartments maybe dated but it’s key to point out the following: The price ultimately reflects this. I paid £69 per night for a sea view room. The room was very large, clean and had everything I needed from a good working Air con, kitchen utensils as well as toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and soaps. The room was cleaned daily. Don’t expect 5* amenities in a basic price point accommodation. There is 24hr reception whilst basic things are also sold on the premises - such as water. The property is a central as it gets. You cannot go wrong here.

That being said the accommodation was pretty good, reasonably clean and had everything we needed. The sraff were friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking choices nearby but most things were in godd walking distance. There was a good fridge, kettle, toaster and mkni oven hotplate thing. There's a bus to the airport just across the street

- Wendy (10/5): Great for a beach holiday. - The apartments are in a great location, right on the beach front with lots of bars and restaurants. Spacious, bright rooms with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The only negative I would say is that the rooms are a bit tired looking and could do with a freshen up. The staff are lovely and very helpful.

- Mary (10/5): Excellent location - The hotel is by no means fancy, but you cannot beat the location and the ease of having a kitchen. The staff was efficient and helpful and the location cannot be beat. You walk out the door to the ocean front of you and the Promenade of restaurants to the right and left. It was the perfect place to stay to be able to walk all around Larnaca and see the sites and enjoy dining.
