The staff of the hotel were extremely nice and helpful, probably one of the best service I’ve experienced in a hotel. I highly recommend it. They offered us a suite with queen. bed for the 4 of us then they moved us to a room with a queen and a small sofa bed there was no breakfast buffet for not having enough guests they cooked us breakfast very friendly family hardly they spoke any english

- Verified traveler (6/5): Lovely people - horrible hotel - First of all: The people running the hotel are WONDERFUL, kind and very service-minded. They do their very best to make up for what is a HOPELESS hotel, far far from deserving its high ratings. It´s located inconveniently out of the centre, it does not have the facilities it´s said to have ( gym, for instance) and most importantly: The rooms are a nightmare. I couldn't even step in to the bathroom, it was so mold-infested and reeking with clorine. The shower was falling apart, the TV didn't work, the smell in the whole hotel is gruesome, smoke plus bad washing...it´s just a no-no. Don´t even consider staying here, in Pristina centre you will find lots better for same price. When that is said: again, the people in the reception really do their very best to compensate , and that´s very kind and caring of them.Just a shame they have such conditions to work with.

- George (8/5): Hotel with a View - We arrived from the main bus station. Try to make arrangement with the hotel as they have contract with specific taxi company in town. It cost €3.00 with them and cost triple with the taxis in the station. Hotel staff were friendly and hospitable, breakfast was excellent (included in the rate), dinner was also good. It is walkable to go downtown -all downhill but you will have to climb the hill on your way back unless taking a taxi. Hotel is located way up the hill, in local neighbourhood where you will have a chance to mingle with the locals. There is a small grocery store nearby where you can buy some snacks, fruits, drinks, etc. There is a small refrigerator in the room. Rooms are spacious and the view of the mountains are awesome. If you are a walker/hiker there is a lovely park not too far away.

- Eckhard (10/5): Ein Genuß! - Hervoragende Rezeption, gute Englischkenntnisse. Sehr kulant, mußte von unterwegs eine Übernachtung stornieren, was ohne Kosten akzeptiert wurde..Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Restaurant mit einer kleinen, feinen Karte und exzellenten Weinen.

There is no computer station and no business center, too, although it is said in description there are. But I must say that the guy who works there and the owner are cool and room is really, really spacious. And breakfast is interesting.
- Thomas (10/5): Der Kosovo ist auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert! - Wir waren als Reisegruppe von 6 Mann im Hotel. Das Hotel übertrifft die Erwartungen, die man an ein Hotel im Kosovo hat deutlich. Besonders hervorheben muss man eindeutig das Personal, welches stets freundlich und hilfsbereit war - Egal ob Tipps für Ausflüge oder Hintergrundinfos zur örtlichen Kultur, das Hotelpersonal stand uns immer hilfsbereit zur Verfügung (Englisch war kein Problem, auch Deutsch war oft kein Problem) Bei uns hat das Hotel den Eindruck unterstützt, dass der Kosovo touristisch zu Unrecht seinen Stiefmütterchen-Status hat. Denn sowohl Land wie Leute haben einiges zu bieten und freuen sich über Besucher aus Europa. Das Sicherheitsgefühl war überraschend überall gut, auch als in der Hinsicht verwöhnter Deutscher. PS: Wer eine Reise in den Kosovo vorhaben sollte, der sollte unbedingt auch Prizren sehen!

- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice Hotel, very calm, very good staff - Rooms are very clean and large. Staff are very helpful and they are very enthusiastic to help you. They serves you like your are their family member. It is very safe. It has mountain view and you can see the mountains, ıt has a large view. Foods are good, and very clean. It has SPA and swimming pool also. The hotel is very quite. You can study, work or read about anything you want.
- Matthew (10/5): A Great Quick Stay in Prishtina - I was in Prishtina for just 24 hours, but the staff at the AFA Residence was very helpful while I was there. I enjoyed the room and the view very much - I found the bed and linens extremely comfortable - and the staff was very helpful with getting taxis for me when I needed them. I was sad the pool wasn't working - but that's a small thing in comparison to the overall experience. I would not hesitate to return to the hotel on future visits to Kosovo. They made me feel very welcome!
- Tiina (8/5): Comfortable family-owned business - I stayed at the hotel for school marketing trip and I was very happy with the hotel. The room was really spacious and the view was nice. The room was pleasantly decorated, although minor tear was evident. Bathroom had tiling from local mines. A very modern shower with jets, lights and music. Family owned business which was evident in the care they took with their customers. While the rooms didn't have the opportunity for making a cup of tea or coffee, you could go down and request one with no charge. Breakfast was simple but perfectly suitable, with eggs cooked by your wishes after you've arrived to the breakfast. Sauna and swimming pool available, didn't have time to test them.
- Andreas (8/5): Hervorragende Unterkunft mit kleinen Ärgernissen - Tolles Hotel mit super Komfort und Service. Angenehme Atmosphäre und super-freundliches Personal. Leider ist das im Internet angepriesene Restaurant nicht mehr in Betrieb! (allerdings tolles Restaurant fußläufig erreichbar) Pool war während unseres Aufenthalts leider durch Bauarbeiten nicht nutzbar.
- Hallgeir (8/5): Exellent and friendly service - The hotel is a bit difficult to find, but when you get closer to the location there are several signs in the narrow streets. Service is exellent. This is a family hotel and hosts are so service minded. I got upgraded big and comfortable room and welcome drinks from both of the hosts. I had a very pleasent stay. Like to come back.

- Michael (8/5): Great place - Although the room was a bit pricy, I enjoyed the stay. The room was large, there was free wifi, a hair dryer, breakfast was included, and the hotel had room service. The shower looked a bit odd like something from a science fiction movie but I was able to find the right levers. The location was dreadful but I didn't mind.
- Mark (8/5): Tucked away, but good service and value - This hotel is in a sidestreet, where currently building is going on, so no prizes for scenic views. But it's a short walk from the main Mother Teresa thoroughfare. The staff are very helpful. There is always someone around to help with your bag. Breakfast buffet was excellent. My room was large and comfortable. The decor is 'classic' style with wooden panelling, large framed paintings, long red curtains. My bathroom had a jacuzzi style bath that needed a degree to work out how to use!
- Verified traveler (6/5): A bit hard to find but not that bad. - We choose this hotel because of it's possibilities for indoor activities(sauna, pool etc). This hotel is relatively far from the center so we were looking forward to a nice and relaxing evening. Unfortunately the whole area was out of order. The room was ok although I would prefer a room without mirrors and shower covered in mold. The outlets were dangerous and hang loose from the wall. The view was ok but really not as expected. The hotel is located in a village and there are lots of houses in close proximity which is kind of cozy and really quiet. The breakfast was nice with different cheezes and meats, although I would prefer a buffet. Great staff :)
- Robert (8/5): Nice Hotel - The location is very difficult to find. Navigon was unable to find. Even the Cab driver couldn’t find the address without calling the Hotel. The second problem is two Hotels with the same name AFA. One is a residence and second a hotel.

- Carl (10/5): Fantastisk hotell! - Enestående flott hotell litt i utkanten av sentrum. Høy standard på rommet, og nydelig utsikt. Veldig behjelpelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Har egen avtale med taxiselskap som gjør at kostnadene blir lave til sentrum.
- Ted (10/5): Difficult to find but worth the search - This hotel is on an unpaved road on the hills surrounding Pristina and took some navigation to find. Once there though it's really worth it. The staff/owners were all extremely friendly and efficient, spoke English, and even let me park my motorbike in their house/garage. I got a free upgrade to a massive room with all the luxuries you could wish for after a days riding from Albania. Breakfast was nice too. I highly recommend this friendly, family run hotel to anybody visiting Pristina.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel, but bit out of the way - Location out of town, but they have an arrangment with a local taxi firm so that the fare is 2 euros each way into town (or 3 euros to bus station). Be aware if you use other firms they may take you to the original AFA hotel and not know how to find AFA residence (or that it even exists). (And will charge you a lot more). Staff very attentive and keen to please, breakfast was good and served individually (breads, pancakes, omelette, fruit juice, cheeses/tomatoes/hams, etc, tea/coffee) tho' a little awkward them standing there watching me. Lovely premises, altho' I think they're aiming to be more high end than they really are. No balcony in double room (despite description) just a door opening onto windowsill with a barrier. TV good, shower decent. Hairdryer provided. Comfy and spacious. Fridge didn't work (wasn't plugged in when I arrived and door didn't close, but even once I rearranged it so it plugged in it didn't work). 2 bottles of free water per night stayed (I don't know if they would provide more if you requested, but you were given 2 more bottles each time they made the room up). Views from room were beautiful. Very peaceful location. Staff all spoke very good english.
- mwh (10/5): Great place, great price, great stay - It's a lovely clean and new hotel in a neighborhood up on a hill not far from downtown. The room was great, with a wonderful view out the big windows. Not time I'm in Pristina, I'll be back. Highly recommeded.
- Allan (8/5): Hard to find, but nice place - This hotel is extremely hard to find from the address given on the confirmation. At least if you are driving there.. Taxis might know it, but we spend a good hour looking for it. The hotel it self is nice and the staff there are friendly.. The first evening we had dinner in the restaurant, but the food wasn't all that good (very salty). It's a bit of a walk to get to downtown Pristina, but it is worth it!
- Anette (8/5): Dejligt roligt sted - Havde en perfekt overnatning på hotellet. Fantastisk dejligt stort værelse med kæmpe tv og god seng. Hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser et stykke fra byen, men de har en god aftale med et taxiselskab i byen som kun er 2 euro pr strækning. Værelset havde en dejlig udsigt til bjergene og man kunne nyde mad og sol på tag terrassen.
- Lena (10/5): Fantastisk service - Trevlig personal, nytt och fint hotell med väldigt modern inredning, liten pool och gym i källaren och restaurang som var öppen till sent. Hotellet låg lite avsides så man behöver åka taxi fram och tillbaks till stan. De har en deal med Taxi Roberti, 2€ till och ifrån centrum eller 3€ till busstationen. Så om man anländer med buss, försök få tag på en Taxi Roberti. Normalpriset från busstationen annars verkade vara 8€ och med taxameter från centrum kostade det 4€. Det finns också ett Hotel Afa som ligger närmare staden så gör klart för taxichauffören att det är till Afa Recidence som ni skall åka. Hotellet låg i ett väldigt lugnt område, skönt efter en dag i Prishtina där trafiken är hemsk. Finns minilivs också ett minilivs ca 50 meter från hotellet.

- Robert (8/5): Sprillans nytt hotell med extraordinär service - Som affärsresenär finns vissa saker man behöver, såsom snabbt wifi, centralt läge, och ett arbetsbord på rummet. Det underlättar också om man får tillgång till strykjärn att stryka skjortan med och att det finns några engelskspråkiga nyhetskanaler på tv. Inget av detta erbjuder Hotel AFA Residence. Men det som brister i faciliteter kompenserar man med servicenivån. Jag har aldrig blivit så uppassad på ett hotell! Hotellchefen Rexhep och hans personal vilade inte ett ögonblick i sin iver att säkerställa att min vistelse blev trivsam. Vilket den också blev. Rummen var skinande rena, frukosten utmärkt och sängarna mycket bekväma. Det här är inte hotellet för affärsresenären, men kommer jag tillbaka som turist så bokar jag utan tvekan in mig här.
- Nine (10/5): Romantik für Paare - Sehr kleines Hotel mit ins. 8 Zimmern. Sehr guter Service. Aber nicht zu aufdringlich. Sehr ruhig gelegen, mit wunderschöner Aussicht. City ist schnell für wenig Geld erreichbar.

- Leonora (10/5): Best hotel ever - This is a nice and quite small hotel in Pristina. Hotel is located little far from the centre of city. The best way to get there is by taxi, it costs only 2 € !! The hotel has free pick up from airport :) The hotel is new in Pristina and not all taxi drivers know where is located :D This is excellent choice if you want some luxury in your life for a chance. Prices are cheap. The rooms are big, light, comfortable and have much space. There´s much wardrobes. Every room has big flat screen TV, air conditioning and free internet (wlan) and top it off you can listen music in the shower in romantic lighting. You can also find swimming pool and Sauna (and gym). The restaurant is good and cosy. You can look log-fire while eating. The food is excellent. The breakfast was the best I had in Kosovo, like european hotels. The staff are so friendly and service is great. They really make you feel welcome. I definitely come here again for my next visit to Kosovo.
