We found the little extras extra nice: top floor lounge for guests with several options for free coffee and water bottle stations. We will stay again when we next visit!

- kathypilcher (10/5): Mark - Our Hero! - Great experience, we did a surprise one day trip, and everything was great. Mark checked us in, and was very knowledgeable of the area. We had an early check-in and he made sure that we were able to store our luggage while we waited. Mark also helped us get to the airport on such short notice, he was able to secure us a taxi, and he waited with us until the taxi arrived, so grateful for him. We will certainly be back for a longer stay!
- S2571RDdaveb (10/5): First class customer service at CQ - I have been staying at Club Quarters Hotels (CQ) for many many years, most often at CQ Chestnut Street Philadelphia and CQ Grand Central here in New York City. I also stayed at CQ in Boston quite recently. At every CQ hotel I have stayed in I have received a first class service, and they have accommodated my partial disability by giving me an accessible room at no extra cost. I love the fact that there’s a free laundry room, not to mention free cold bottled water on demand and generally speaking a very friendly and customer service dedicated staff. I want to make particular mention of Elias the manager of CQ Grand Central who has helped me out in a very difficult situation here in NYC during a severe weather period. He was extremely accommodating in ensuring that I could retain my room for an extra couple of days until my flight back to London. Nothing was too much trouble. In all my years staying at CQ hotels I’ve not once had any cause to complain; quite the opposite I would have no hesitation in recommending the brand. It is certainly very good value.

Our room was comfortable, with clean bathroom and coffee/teamaker. We made good use of the rooftop lounge area. It provided a comfortable place to have a coffee or tea, recharge by the fireplace, or enjoy the views fro the enclosed patio. The location was the reason we picked Club Quarters, and it did not disappoint. We walked all over midtown and Central Park.

The location is amazing, close to a lot of attractions, a lot of restaurants. The center of the city. And the staff… the staff were so helpful and friendly! We had a problem with the cab driver that took us to the airport. He was demanding more money than what the hotel told us it would cost. So we called the hotel’s staff and they spoke to him and fixed it! We really enjoyed our time there and can’t wait to go visit again. I accidentally dropped a valuable earring down the sink drain in my hotel room's bathroom when I was getting ready for the event. I was able to share a picture of the other earring with the great lobby staff, and by the time I returned from my event, their engineer, Ben, was able to retrieve my earring from the drain! Thanks so much to Ben and the wonderful staff at CQH/Grand Central!

The hotel is central, staff are friendly especially Mark Anthony. He goes out of his way to ensure that guest have all they need. I highly recommend this hotel due to its location, ambience, value for money and great staff support.

- mnmel1997 (10/5): Great stay! January prices were fantastic! - Understandably, rates vary greatly depending on date of stay. My husband and I stayed for six nights in a Superior Room over MLK day for an average cost of $218/nt which is unheard of in Manhattan. Location is great, two blocks to Grand Central Station and buses on Lex and 3rd Ave. We were in room 1802. It was clean. You do hear adjacent room doors close and of course NYC sirens. I think it would be a very tight fit for 3 as one would sleep on the oversized chair that flips out. I don’t know where you would store a 3rd suitcase. It may work for a child. Carry on bags barely fit under the nightstand on each side, full size luggage would be a problem. The wardrobe has hangers, two small drawers and an upper shelf and an iron and ironing board. Single sink outside of the toilet and low rise shower. I thought the towels and robe provided were scratchy. There is a make up mirror which I appreciated. The lounge on the 27th floor is lovely. 24/7 access to coffee options and tea. Loved the water stations on each floor. I would not hesitate to recommend booking here; I hope to stay again. All the staff were welcoming. Housekeeping service hours varied.

Spotless, Well-Designed Rooms! - When I saw how much less expensive Club Quarters Grand Central was compared to nearby options, I was skeptical, but thought I’d give it a try. I am so glad I did! I was prepared for adequate, if not substandard, accommodations because of the price. What I found instead, to my relief and delight, was an efficient, well-managed, friendly hotel with modern, attractively and thoughtfully designed, well-equipped, spotless rooms! I was amazed and impressed by the value! This stay was only one night, so there wasn’t time to enjoy the penthouse lounge or the gym, but I am looking forward to returning to New York for a longer stay, and will definitely plan to return to Club Quarters Grand Central! Highly recommended!
- R2660EAjordang (10/5): Quite Literally a Perfect Weekend Getaway - From start to finish, my stay at this hotel with my boyfriend was absolutely perfect. For starters, the location is perfect. It being right next to Grand Central is insanely convenient for travel all over NYC, and literally everything you could possibly need is steps away from the hotel, including a dispensary literally about 50 feet up the street. The entire staff is incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Delilah was working the front desk when I checked in and out, and she was an absolute delight. She let us check in 3 hours early, no questions asked and free of charge, and explained all of the hotel’s amenities and where to find them very well during check-in. After getting our keys and heading to the room, we were met with a lovely, clean room with a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker and an impressively large tv for a hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were top notch. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was very nice, great shower head. It was quite literally a perfect room for 2 people for the weekend, in a perfect location, with perfect customer service. Upon checking out, Delilah extended our stay till 1:30pm free of charge (couldn’t stay longer since the room was accounted for by an incoming guest) and she stored our bags at the hotel till we were ready to fly out later that evening with no issue. I can’t stress enough that she, and the entire staff, seemed to so happy to help. I never saw a face without a smile. Some may say “that’s their job” but the fact of the matter is that they don’t have to be so kind to get the job done, and I’ve definitely stayed at hotels where I felt like a nuisance. I’m happy to say that was never the case at Hotel Boutique, and I know exactly where I’m staying the next time I’m in New York.

Even the check-in experience was pleasurable, as we checked-in later than expected this past Friday, January 16th. The attendant at the front desk was very nice and courteous and could tell we were tired and just wanted to relax, so he had us on our way to our room in no time. Our room was very, very nice and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy ourselves. We also loved the beautiful amenities this Club Quarters Hotel had to offer. We LOVED the BEAUTIFUL 27th Floor Guest Lounge Area. Whether it be day or night, the incredible view of downtown New York from this space is breathtaking!!! The Guest Services Manager, Terence Lloyd, was OUTSTANDING in making sure we had everything we needed to ensure our stay there was a memorable one!! I would recommend staying at the Club Quarters Hotel Grand Central, New York, to ANYONE. You will ABSOLUTELY want to come back time and time again!!!

Every staff member was pleasant, attentive, and knowledgeable, always ready to assist and offer great recommendations for local dining. Terence L truly went above and beyond and elevated our experience to an entirely new level. He rolled out the red carpet by ensuring our rooms were ready and fully equipped with more amenities than we could have asked for. He personally showed us where the ice machines, laundry faculties, exercise room and refillable water coolers were located, as well as the top-floor meeting space, which was perfect for our family celebration and card games. The views overlooking New York City were absolutely spectacular. Terence made sure all of our needs were met, from providing snacks to ensuring the heat was working properly for playing cards in the enclosed outdoor space overlooking the city. He also recommended excellent local eateries and helped arrange transportation for us to see the Aladdin play. The hotel is centrally located in Manhattan, with many attractions within walking distance. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I truly look forward to planning our next family weekend trip at Club Quarters Hotel Grand Central and cannot wait to see Terence again and experience his outstanding service and excellence.

- 511zoek (10/5): Ideal location, great hotel!! - Stayed here for 5 nights at the beginning of January in a twin room. Welcomed by Marc Anthony at reception who was extremely helpful with checking us in and explaining the amenities on offer. Was told we'd been given a room with a view but when we got to it on the 14th floor, the only view we had was of the office building opposite. I had been really excited, expecting to see the Chrysler from the bedroom window, so I asked for a room change. Because the majority of rooms at the hotel are double beds, Delilah was only able to move us up a few floors but still in the same part of the hotel. That was perfect for us though. (Floor 22) The room had more light and you could see the top of the Chrysler too! The coffee and water situation on floor 27 was taken advantage of every day which was fab. The rooms, albeit a bit of a squeeze were clean and comfortable. The Aircon was really loud and had a mind of its own but as you couldn't open our window it was a necessary must and had to be on. All in all, Club Quarters Grand Central was an ideal base and I would highly recommend it for your stay in New York.

On our first night the staff were friendly and professional and were helpful for our entire stay for 9 nights. The hotel is an easy walk to Grand Central and many of the places we wanted to visit in New York. It was close to a number of amazing cafes too. We loved the lounge upstairs and the facilities to make drinks. The room was lovely too and the beds were very comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to visitors.

From check in to check out everything was taken care of and we felt there was a perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism in the staff. Regarding staff, we had wonderful experiences specifically with Elias, but all staff were amazing to interact with! Such a great team! So many great places to eat close by (Black Seed Bagel, Perfect Pint, Grand Central Market...I could go on) and the ease to get to Grand Central Station whether for the subway or LIRR for airport arrival and departure. The rooftop is great and they have excellent free coffee at the room and at the rooftop!

The location right next to Grand Central Station is simply brilliant. The rooms are very spacious and the room service is very attentive. Coffee and tea are available around the clock. The hotel is also ideal for business trips, as the internet connection is very good and there are plenty of workspaces. We were completely satisfied, especially with the friendly staff at the front desk, who helped us immediately with every request. We particularly remember Mark and Manny. We can only recommend this accommodation and would stay here again.

We had a basic room so nothing special there but the customer service was out of this world. Terrance was such a joy at the front desk. He was there almost every day, working hard and doing so with a smile on his face. . He seemed happy to be there and it reflected in his attitude and demeanor. - jennifermA2575HP (10/5): Great choice - This is a small hotel but in a central location great if you want to see the Manhattan sites and being across from grand central station made it easy to travel to other NYC areas. All of the staff were very polite and courteous, we ran into a few maids or maintenance people on the elevator and they always made conversation and exited with a polite "enjoy your day". The 27th floor coffee area was great but crowded in the mornings while we stayed. Coffee machine was a fancy machine with your choice of different styles freshly grinded the coffee/espresso/latte/cappuccino to order. The parking i was a little nervous about looking at that parking garages reviews but it went very smoothly and they charged us the correct rate for our stay. Just make sure you go to the Icon parking garage listed in the hotels website and get your voucher from them and jave the lobby staff stamp it for the correct crate. The garage staff are not very friendly but they took care of the care without issues so it worked well for us. Id definitely recommend staying here for a fare rate close to local attractions and if you bring a car probably the best parking rate around for a hotel. Thabk you club quarters!

Every interaction with the staff was wildly positive to the extent that it feels a little like staying with friends. The rooms were very comfortable and we returned each day to find everything made up by housekeeping. The location is great with a good balance for Manhattan. There is nothing I can honestly say that wasn’t great. Everyone there is friendly and professional and it just adds to your enjoyment of one of the worlds great cities.

We didn't interact with the staff apart from check-in and check-out. The lobby area is small and gets crowded, but they were nice and helpful. I recommend this for business travelers or couples/friends.

Not a clean hotel despite appearances. - Recently stayed there for Nov 7-10 and had a lovely time the staff were great and accommodating. The hotel is also in a convenient spot in Manhattan. Only bad thing i have to share is im certain my wife and I received bites from bed bugs in our room. One night into our stay we developed bites. We didnt think much of it as it was only me at first, until my wife also developed bites on the 2nd day we had been outside the entire time during our Manhattan stay. Mosquitoes in November? Bed bugs more likely. I wasnt even going to leave a review as I thought it was mosquitoes until i got checked out by a doctor who confirmed. As more itchy spots appearing in clusters within 72 hrs of the trip. I hope they get that addressed ASAP as that was not something we expect to receive during our stay. And the hotel wasnt cheap like a 1 star motel so to receive bed bugs which is still affecting us today is a major disappointment. you can search the reviews, MANY other people experienced bites from the beds too. Really disappointed wish that could be fixed or some compensation for the inconvenience im experiencing today. if management is curious the rooms to check are 205 and 1505, don't let other guests suffer too.

The main reason was the front desk team who were really friendly and helpful in every interaction I had with them. There are some great places to eat nearby, including cheap eats from Bagel Market & Joy Curry. The hotel is also a perfect location for a 2-3 hour walk around midtown manhattan, taking in all of the main sights.

However, that's the end of the good news. We're used to hotel beds being terrific. Hotels seem to pride themselves on the quality of their beds to the extent that many mattress manufacturers advertise that their products offer a hotel experience. Except this hotel. The mattress was thin and miserable. The heat/AC system is noisy and this all adds up to a miserable night's sleep. All Club Quarters offer free filtered water and bottles which is very nice and they have a top floor with a view and a coffee machine. This location also offers that but, for our purposes the most important feature of a hotel is the ability to get a good night's sleep and that's where this location struck out.

- juliamk87 (8/5): Solid New York option - Overall this is a solid hotel. I’ve found that in New York, when a hotel is more affordable it’s usually substantially lower quality. Fortunately this Club Quarters property is more affordable than many other options while still providing a reliable, standard hotel experience. The rooms are quite small, as many Club Quarters are, but I was traveling solo so this wasn’t an issue. Other positives were that the room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I arrived later in the evening and the only room left was right across from the elevator, which was pretty noisy. But I would guess that in general the rooms are quieter. My main complaint is that the bed was pretty uncomfortable. The mattress was lumpy and sagging in some places, and the under sheet wasn’t quite long enough to wrap around the mattress so when I’d wake up the mattress itself would be exposed, which was kind of gross. Getting sheets that actually fit the bed seems like a relatively easy thing for a hotel to do. And definitely think it’s time for the hotel to replace their mattresses. Aside from that issue, I’d likely stay here again when traveling for work.

Club Quarters is one of the few places where there is no pet fee, free laundry with complimentary detergent, and access to close by parking garages! Their rooms were very clean and the floor plan was so nice, even for a one person room. The only issue I had personally, was with my room key; I believe the battery for my door was dying, but each time I went to the front desk, they took care of it for me promptly, and reassured they would get the door looked at. Overall, a wonderful experience with staff, and will be staying here again!

- Korky19 (10/5): An Excellent Hotel to stay in - We had an amazing stay in Club Quarters Hotel. We booked a room with a kitchenette which was excellent. The room was big. We had amazing views over the city. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom was a comfortable size. Our room was cleaned every day and towels were changed every day. Staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. Always had a smile and kind words to say. Cannot fault this hotel. Would highly recommend a stay at Club Quarters Hotel, Grand Central, NY

- Xinxin (10/5): - Perfectly central location for the places I need to visit for business. The room is well designed and the water station on every floor is a great feature. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and would rebook if the price is reasonable next time.
