- Seong kwon (6/5): - 전반적으로는 괜찮은 숙소라고 생각됨. 하지만 호텔 직원의 서비스는 이제껏 겪어 보았던 모든 서비스직 중에서 최악이라고 생각됨. 저녁 근무자(마스크 착용 여성)는 손님과 싸우자고 일하는 것 같음. 호텔사장 딸인가라는 생각을 잠시 해봄. 다른곳 리뷰에서 비슷한 내용을 본적이 있는데, 설마 로비에서 근무하는 직원과 말섞을일도 많이 없는데 그런일이 나한테 일어날까 라는 생각을 했는데 실제 겪음. 아래는 내가 겪은 해당 직원의 황당한 대처임. 1. 사우나 이용 티켓은 언제 발급받나요? 답변 : QR 안내문 안읽어 보셨어요? 거기에 자세히 나와요~ 2.사우나 이용 티켓 주세요. / 객실 키 확인이 필요합니다. / 일행은 안간다고 해서 키가 방에 있는데요(방키를 해당 직원이 1개만 발급해줬음) / 객실키 확인이 필요합니다.(다른 근무자는 방번호와 이름만 확인하고 발급해줬음) / 사람이 위에 있는데 어떻게 키를 가지고 나오나요? / 그럼 처음에 키를 2개를 요청했어야줘~ / 하하하~처음에 본인이 하나를 발급해 주고 아무런 설명이 없었는데... / 그럼 키를 하나 발급해 주세요~ / 이름이요, 방번호요 / 키를 받은후 그럼 사우나 티켓 발급해 주세요 / 그때야 줌...이런 황당하고 불친절의 극치를 보았나~

- Stephen (10/5): Great value near the gay area - Great value and very nice hotel — clean and comfortable. The bathroom design is a bit odd as there is no way to prevent water from splashing on the floor while showering. Access to the excellent gym and spa in the next building is a big plus. Location is near the gay area with tons of restaurants nearby.

One of the staff and whom I believe was the manager spoke excellent english which helped us understand better what we needed to do. The room was a cute and cozy size but had everything we needed. It was also very clean. The only thing that was out of their control was that it was close by to the construction for World Expo Busan, so at times it could get noisy. Overall, I would stay at this property again.

The fitness center and sauna are excellent as well. I've stayed here a few times while traveling solo from Seoul and it is a great place from which to explore Busan and relax at the end of the day. - chris (6/5): Affordable. Couple kinks to work out. - I didn't sleep well due to the a/c directions being in Korean and I'm not Korean. So I didn't know how to work it and it was warm in the room. Also, the window and screen were open when I checked in, so i got bit by mosquitos both nights. Also, there's typically a sheet and comforter, so if you get hot at night you still have a cover. My room only had a comforter, so either it was sweating all night or the mosquitos. Not good. Initially was charged for the gym and the ad said nothing about extra charges when I booked, but the receptionist straightened it out. Just something to beware of. Another thing that really bothered me was that on the day I checked out, I asked for my bag to be held while I explored a little bit more and it was left out in the open for several hrs, and when I got back I rang the bell, nobody responded, and I picked my bag up from the lobby floor with no intervention. Another thing i didn't like about the room was the motion light in hall when went on in the middle of the night on restroom trips when you don't want a bright light on.. Also, not enough plugs for my phone and devices. Pros - very affordable, simple room. SUPER nice staff. The gym is a real gym where you can get a full workout. Also very quiet

After verifying this information on hotels.com, my friend and I each reserved a twin room. We both made a specific request asking for a room with a view and a microwave. We were notified immediately that they do not have twin rooms with a microwave, which we decided was not a deal breaker. Upon arrival to our room, we noticed that the rooms were tiny (thank god we did not share a twin room) and that our "view" was a tiny window facing a brick wall. It was ridiculous that we paid extra for this "view", but we decided that we could deal with it since the front desk staff was extremely hospitable. The staff was kind and extremely knowledgable, but the room and building could use an update.

There is a fitness center and sauna in the adjacent building that are free to use. Room is spacious and clean. The chair could be nicer, as there is no back on it, so I basically had to work from the bed for back support, but this was no big deal. It was about a ten minute walk from of the cities two main train lines.

- Arlene (10/5): Clean with spa access - My stay at Le Mer was great. About 5 minutes from Beomil station and about 30 min by bus to Haeundae beach. Also, a 30 min walk to Seomyeon where there is a lot of shopping, eateries and night activities. My friend and I chose this hotel for the access to the spa. Free access was included in our room. We were able to use the access the day of check out so it was perfect. The room was clean, beds comfortable and an overall good stay. I would definitely stay here again for a night in Busan since the price is comparable to other hotels but you can have spa access!

- Rachel (8/5): Confortable stay - Check in process was smooth as the counter staff was able to speak english. The room was exactly as shown in pictures and the size of the room was good enough for me. Everything was clean except for the overhead rain shower that had mold on it so I did not use it. Hot and cold tap water was available. The room was cleaned everyday, bottled water was topped up and trash was taken out. Bed was comfortable and roomy enough for two. There is a temperature control in the room so it was comfortable even when it was cold outside. The hotel is located near Beomil Metro Station on line 1, exit 10. After leaving the hotel, turn right, turn right again at GS25 convenience store and walk straight to Beomil station, about 10 minutes walk. There is a convenience store near the hotel, a few restaurants and there are pojangmachas right outside exit 10 at night. There is also a Hyundai department store located at exit 7. Unfortunately I had no time to use the free spa attached. Overall I feel very satisfied with my stay.
