- tracy berrill (10/5): Lovely stay - The location is beautiful. The staff were amazing, but nothing was too much bother. It was the most dog friendly place in the area. We didn't eat there, as had commitments visiting family . If you're taking a dog most pubs, if they welcome dogs, don't allow them to be in whilst serving food, which is a shame when you fancy lunch and a drink after a walk. The Delaval Arms was another good dog friendly pub. The Breeze cafe, on the Blyth promenade, though was packed with dogs,

Very helpful and friendly staff No heating in the very large bathroom. May not matter normally but on a freezing November night a heater would have been welcome.

- MARK (10/5): - Everything spot on as usual. Stayed many times staff great food lovely so clean. Definitely be going back soon. So peaceful.
- Teresa (8/5): - Poor communication regarding the evening meal with the half board included with the stay, we were only informed when seated at table for first night's meal that the allowance was £15 per person, which was fine but we would have thought this should have been included in the accommodation description for that deal prior to arrival.
- David (10/5): -
- Ian (5/5): - It was comfortable and the staff on the night time incredibly nice and friendly The staff on breakfast totally ignored us i had to chase them just to take our order it took well over an hour before we received our food
- James (8/5): - Great location for us, very welcoming staff and patrons. Nothing
- Julian (8/5): Friendly and very helpful - Friendly and very helpful Not much
- Martin (10/5): - Just a quick one night stay. A lovely room, great food served at dinner and a very good breakfast too. The staff were excellent, couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again to see more of this beautiful coastline. Thank you
- nathaniel (10/5): Amazing stay, will definitely be visiting again. - Very clean, tidy and comfortable It was all great
- Jeffrey (9/5): -
- Prasenjit (10/5): -
- Ian (8/5): -
- michael (10/5): great place - very good friendly hotel / restraunt food and staff are great 2nd visit will be back
- Katie (10/5): -
- Teresa (10/5): If you're in the area you can't miss this place or you'll regret it! - Have always liked the Waterford, first time we have stayed overnight and it was excellent. Not applicable
- EFSTATHIOS (10/5): - Everything was perfect. The room was clean, nice and updated. The breakfast was really good. We had our dinner there too, and the food was excellent. And most of all the staff was so friendly and helpful. Thank you, we really enjoyed our stay.
- Johnathon (10/5): -
- Simon (8/5): Great location for our short stay - Property was ideal for our nights stay before the Great North Run. Ate there that night and food was OK. In a stunning part of the Northumberland coast. Not the staff or the property fault but we were all awoken at 0247 due to 2 inconsiderate guests vaping in their room which set the fire alarm off. Staff (and fire brigade) were onsite quickly to sort everything out
- Adam (8/5): - A pleasant pub by the shore. Very welcoming with good food and comfortable room.
- Rachel (10/5): - Very clean room and stunning views That the bar/food stopped early and was closed for 9.00pm
- Olszewski (8/5): -
- Hooper (10/5): -
- Ralph (8/5): -
- Tony (9/5): -
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Ken (7/5): - Excellent location and a very good selection for breakfast. its a pub with rooms so if you have a room above the bar area it can be noisy
- Kate (10/5): - The room was freshly painted, with lovely heavy curtains and comfortable cozy bedding.
The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly.
The pub and rooms are dog friendly.
- Murray (8/5): - A. Very quaint hotel
- robert (10/5): Value - Food & staff excellent
Lovely place to stay good location
- Paul (10/5): Great place to stay and eat - Lovely place with friendly staff, good food, good price, lovely sea view. Clean and comfortable.
- peter (10/5): -
- Anita (10/5): An absolutely wonderful place to spend the first night of our holiday -
- David (8/5): - Location great. Staff very friendly and helpful
- Johnson (8/5): Happy - Easy to find with excellent views of the sea and Blyth in the distance Convenient plenty of parking in and around hotel a wonderful welcome
- Alexander (8/5): - Hotel in an excellent location for coastal and woodland walking with a regular bus service to other holiday locations nearby. Friendly staff provided a great service in the bar and restaurant which had a varied menu. We intend returning to this location.
- Rosalind (10/5): Great place for our family and our dog. Staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. - Great location near to the beach, harbour and not far from Seaton Delaval Hall. It was great!
- Nicola (4/5): The place felt very rundown - Sea view and the room itself was clean enough although shower was poor with very flimsy fittings Whilst room was acceptable the carpets in public areas were shabby and floors were sticky. There was a long wait for breakfast which was over cooked. At twice the price of premier inn etc this was very poor value for money.
- Claire (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly and welcoming. Felt right at home. Plenty of parking. Room Very large and has everything you need. The views of the bay were stunning. Food excellent with generous portions. A very warm welcome from the staff who always had time to talk even when they were very busy. Can't praise them enough! Nothing to dislike!
- Kevin (8/5): Very good -
- Thomas (2/5): Horrendous - I couldn’t stay at the hotel and left to go to another property. Filthy, damp, broken bed, holes on the walls. I have asked for a refund and documented all the issues. Yet to get any answer via Hotels.com as yet. AWFUL
