So my wife and daughter decided to rent a room at a hotel with swimming pool and kitchen...,it was my daughters birthday and she loves to swim so it was a special occasion..I called to reserve a room and was told to wait a few hours so the room can be prepared,the time was already about 8pm , upon arriving we checked in and was given a room on the 10th floor. When we got to the room i noticed it was very muggy and warm inside, i checked the thermostat to adjust the temperature but after a couple hours it only got hotter ...I decided to call front desk and they said the electrician is on the way to check it..The electrician came and checked the airconditioner , he told me he wont be able to fix the airconditioner because it would take about 3 hours and said that hes off work in an hour so i should call the front desk...so i called the front desk and spoke with the young lady who told me that she would get a better room for me, i even told her it was my daughters birthday and if we can get a better room for the inconvenience....she told me to wait and shell call me when another room is ready....waited for about an hour and she called and said im sorry i have to move you downstairs on 9th floor...,i was hoping maybe a room higher with a ocean view..she ended up giving me a room on the 9th floor facing the main road...im thinking we actually got downgraded..,then to top it off it was already too late to take my daughter swimming so she was upset at that....following morning we ended up checking out but on the way out i asked if it was possible for my daughter to swim for an hour or less because she missed it last night because of room change and waiting...so the young lady at the front told me my daughter that we cant swim and had to leave the property upon checkout...i found the whole experience not worth the $200. I paid and had to wait another 5 days for my $200. security deposit to be put back on my card ,think the checkout lady who denied my 8yr.daughter was rude

- Techaira (9/5): Staycation - Thee room we had was the penthouse, my family loved it very spacious, living room, kitchen with basic cooking and eating utensils, laundry room, 3 bedrooms and a really big balcony. Also the pool was really great! Simple and really great getaway from the usual hotels. I think the only real issue we had was the bathrooms by the pool were out of order and the jacuzzi was out of order as well. And the parking is a little tight

- Shannon (10/5): - Very nice front desk staff. Some of the appliances in the hotel room were incredibly outdated, but you could tell they were slowly modernizing them. The A/C worked well enough, not super cold but still comfortable. Really nice partial ocean view, and having a washer/dryer in the hotel room itself was beyond convenient. Quiet and clean, would stay here again!

- Randy (4/5): Not worth it - Bathrooms were dingy amd nasty, drains full of gunk, grime in the toilet amd tub. Doors were old and broken and falling off the hinges. Shelves and drawers were broken and uneven. Air conditioner broke, had to use a fan, didnt help. Pool was old and gross. Hot tub was out of order. Staff was nice though.

- James (4/5): The hotel needs a lot of work done. Seems like it never recovered after Covid. - The hotel staff here are very helpful and friendly. There's a small convenience store, in the hotel lobby. The owner Minon, is a great guy, very helpful and always in a good mood. This is definitely a bonus for this hotel. The location of the hotel is perfect, the white sand beach is right there, off the hotel steps. The view of the ocean is breathtaking. No words can express the beauty of watching the sunset go down over the ocean. The hotel is showing a lot of signs of deterioration. The A/C in the hotel is not working except in the hotel room. The hotel lobby, the hallways, the elevators. All these areas are very hot. Sad to see the restaurant is shut down and they no longer rent ocean toys; jet skis, paddle boards, kayaks etc. The pool and area needs to be redone, The bathrooms at the pool and the hotel lobby, were out of service and seemed to be like that for a very long time. we stayed 3 weeks and they were never working. The worse part was the moldy bathrooms, I turned down several rooms before I finally accepted one. Mind you this was a penthouse suite, it still had moldy outdated showers but it was the best of 4 units available. I went and bought my own cleaning supplies and we scrubbed them down ourselves. There were no other hotels that had available rooms, so we just accepted it but for almost $8,000 it was sad. The pictures are a little foggy I tried to screenshot them from a video I took, I tried uploading with no luck but you can see what I'm talking about. The pool area, if you zoom in, you can see how the pool deck has slippery mold everywhere. We only used the pool once. The picture does it no justice but there were plenty people in the pool this day. It was Liberation Day and fireworks were visible from the pool. I know to some, you may think I'm just complaining; Really I'm just being honest. My family and I travel to a lot of destinations. Is this hotel a bad place to stay ? I can't say they're isn't anything nice about it but it does need work for the money you're spending, that's all. The owners of the property, are paying their employees just enough to keep them from quitting, so in return, the employees are doing just enough, not to get fired.

They have kitchen but you have to buy supplies like dish soap , sponge. They have washing machine inside the unit, so it’s good for staying longer. If you don’t have a car, it’s far from stores and restaurants, you only have the beach. It’s very humid in Guam and very hot to just walk. You can call local taxi, or Korean taxi, usually it’s $15 per ride (15-20 mins drive) .

- James (5/5): Worn out older building with roaches. - Location is great and staff is friendly and responsive Our 3 bedroom unit was one controlled by the property. It had roaches, the kitchen had only a few plates and glasses, there was only one knife and one pan, there was no dish soap, the installed microwave was inop, a small countertop microwave was provided, the TV did not work, the living room had seating for only three people, the dining table had seating for four people, some electrical outlets in the kitchen and bedrooms were inop, and the washing machine leaked on the floor. This unit has not been significantly updated since initial construction which was likely around 1980. There are many other issues I didn’t list such as the bathroom shower door coming off the track. This building is situated right on the beach but the beach has eroded due to typhoons and now the buildings corner is in the water leaving only partial beach between building and sea. The pool area opened the day after we arrived but the pool is old and in need of renovation. The hot tub area is closed. Only one of three elevators is operable. We stayed 3 days previous to this rental in a privately owned unit that was much better. But of course still in this old decrepit building. To be fair management did fix the washing machine and spray for roaches but it is time to renovate the building or rent will just keep going down as bad reviews mount.

- Techaira (8/5): Home away from home - Not crowded great privacy the rooms were awesome felt really homey we had a living room and a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a washer dryer combo. We didnt even have to go out to eat just cooked in the kitchen. Was really worth the price to get away for a weekend Jacuzzi was out of order the restrooms were out of order as well and i think only 1 elevator was working out of 3

- Hong Woo (8/5): コスパ重視で滞在するなら… - ロケーションはレンタカーを借りていたので、大変良かったが、レンタカー無しでは少し不便だと思う。 施設はさすがに古さを否めなかったが、家族で過ごすには広めの部屋だったので快適に過ごせた。 滞在期間中に3日間もプールがメンテナンスの為使えず、子供達はガッカリして、リゾートに来たのに［プール使用不可］は一部返金レベルの問題だと思います。1週間の長期滞在だったから半分はプール利用できましたが、他のお客様によっては、3日間ぐらいの滞在でフルにプール利用不可のお客様もいたのではなかったかしら?と他人事ながら心配しました。 コスト重視で選べば、それなりの滞在は楽しめます。部屋からのオーシャンビューがリゾート気分を上げて、癒やしてくれました。

- Chizuru (6/5): - 到着便が遅かったので、空港から近いホテルとして滞在しました。 ホテルは古いですが、部屋は広く、洗面所が２つあるのはとてもよかったです。スタッフはフレンドリーでした。 周りには何もないですが、静かでビーチフロントのホテルでした。朝ごはんに歩いて行けるコーヒーショップがありました。少しの滞在にはとてもいいと思います。 車がないと不便だと思うので、レンタカーかタクシーが必須だと思います。

However the staff was wonderful, attentive and did not give us a hard time when we told them we were switching hotels.
- Monica (7/5): Alupang Beach Tower was comfortable and affordable for our family reunion trip to Guam. - We liked the condo location and the size of the unit, it was spacious and comfortable for our group of 7 adults. The kitchen was great for morning coffee, breakfast, and snacks. Having a washer/dryer was definitely a plus given the hot weather. Covered parking was also appreciated on the rainy days. Best of all was the panoramic view from the living room balcony. We all enjoyed the beautiful sunsets! The unit amenities need improvement. We bought a coffee maker (and left it of course) as there wasn't one. We got a few extra coffee cups too. Since there weren't many dishes and utensils, we bought paper goods which was fine, as we ate out for lunch and dinner. The towels are only large size bath sheets. Face and hand towels should be added to their inventory. Only one elevator was operational (although we never waited too long).
- ronc204 (2/5): Worst of the worst - Our room was very dirty when we checked in. We had to buy cleaning supplies to clean the unit. To add to that, some of the chairs of the dining table were wobbly as well as the table. Then, one of the elevators broke down, making us take the service elevator. Oh yeah, the washing machine leaked water into the floor tiles in front of it and so we couldn't use the washing machine.

- SASAYA (6/5): - コンドミニアムでの過ごし方を理解していれば、然程の不自由はないと言えます。 ただ記載の情報で分かりずらい点が幾つか有りました。 ウェルカムドリンクは有りません。 室内にセキュリティボックス無し、ウォシュレット無し、タオルはバスタオルのみ(フロント コンシェルジュに伝えれば交換対応は有ります)、ベッドは掛け布団は無くシーツのみです。 キッチン周りでは湯沸かしポット無し。トースターは食パンを２枚を縦に入れるタイプです。ナイフは切れない物でした。 当然ながらキッチン周りは調味料、オイル等無し、キッチンペーパー、ラップやアルミホイル等なし。 洗濯洗剤は有りません。 その他、利用時に付け加える点としては屋外プールが有りますが、こちらはレストランを併設していない施設なので、よく有ると思われるプールサイドのお店は無し。といった感じです。 交通や移動の注意点は「赤いバス」は通っていません。利用しようとしても一番近いバス停まで徒歩で2～30分掛かります。タモンまでタクシーで＄25程度だったと思います。 タモン湾が見渡せて美しい眺めです。リゾートホテルが密集している環境の喧騒は無縁なので のんびり出来ます。

- Caputo (6/5): Nice room leaky plumbing and loud fans and electronic noises in the room! - Very clean room. The view is amazing and I took so many pictures of the Sundown. I arrived early and they made me wait. Thw room was great! I am well traveled and there was no coffee or water in the room. They gave a discount to the store. I only stayed one day. I didn’t want to have to buy a large item for one cup of coffee. It was a holiday and there was none od the normal amenities associated with a hotel room at this time of year! The Plumbing in the Master bedroom was leaking. There was alot of electronic noise and a huge hum in the room.
- HIROSHI (10/5): - レンタカー利用での滞在でしたので、立地等に関しての不便は全くありませんでした。むしろGPOに近隣で他の飲食店も豊富でした。施設コンディションに関しては、確かに経年ダメージは見受けられますが、こちらに限らず、ほぼグアム全般の宿泊施設に大小散見されることですし、水回りも及第、部屋も広くて清潔、実に快適に過ごすことができました。コスパに関しては高評価に値すると思います。次回旅行する機会があれば、選択肢の上位に位置するであろう印象のホテル(コンドミニアム)でした。日本人スタッフはゼロのようですが、タイミング良くネイティブレベルで日本語を話すスタッフの方に担当していただいて、会話も弾み安心感を得ることができました。

- MAKIYO (4/5): - 口コミ通り、エレベーター3台中、稼働していたのは、真ん中の1台だけでした。 受付は、日本語が少し分かる方もいて、フレンドリーで良い感じでしたが、部屋のエアコンの効きが悪く、寝苦しかったのと、3泊目の夜にバスルームの排水口から水が逆流し、メインフロアまで水が流れてきました。夜だったので、応急処置だけしてくれましたが、翌日、朝から修理に来ると言っていたのに、お昼前になっても来てくれませんでした。仕方なく出かけたのですが、帰って来たら、フロアの床の水だけ拭き取ってあり、バスルームは、そのままでした。出かける前の話では、ルームチェンジと言っていたのに、違うスタッフに変わっていて、空いてる部屋が無いと言われ、もめました。 結局、新しい部屋にしてもらえましたが、時間もかかり、夜遅い引っ越しとなり、荷物も多かったので大変でした。 4泊したので、自炊もしましたが、現地では小さめの調味料を手に入れるのが難しい為、自炊する予定であれば、こちらから持って行く事をお勧めします。
