Had to ask for clean towels after 3 days of room being “made up” but not changed over even after I put hem in the corner on the floor next to the door. Husband asked for a pool towel and the attendant just stared at him then slammed down his phone, got up and retrieved one for him (it was night and quiet and we had been in hospital all day and night so needed a refresh) think he wanted to finish his movie before clocking off and was not happy to be disturbed.

You have to take a shuttle from a very remote area that is near nothing to get to the beach club. They want you to do this reservation a day in advance and There often times no beds when you get over to the beach club.

• Ellie (8/5): A luxury oasis in busy Samui with fantastic spa & yoga - We really loved this hotel! The pool is a standout, it wasnt busy and just a great vibe. The spa & yoga add a great touch and means there is so much on offer at the property! The restaurant is also great for breakfast & lunch. The room was really big, it was more of a studio but I loved how open and bright it was. Honestly nothing but if I had to say then maybe a few features of the room felt outdated, the bathroom mainly but it was all clean.

• Caroline (10/5): Gorgeous - The pool area is fabulous. Live music surprised us one evening and it was fun. Gorgeous breakfast. Free shuttle to the beach club. Make sure you call in advance to book loungers We requested twin beds and were supplied with a camp bed which wasnt ideal!
• Jennifer (8/5): Quiet Resort + Lively Beach Club - I wasn't quite sure what to expect of this hotel, but it won me over after a few days. The hotel is lovely and picturesque and the staff were friendly and helpful, but it is more remote than I expected. It is at the end of a long dead-end street. There are no restaurants nearby and it is a 10 minute walk to the main street. So, you are left taking 300Baht Grab rides to Fisherman's Village, or eating at the hotel most of the time, which was fine - the food was tasty and the breakfast buffet had good selections. We even took a Thai cooking class at the hotel (with a guided trip to the Big Buddha and local market included) which was absolutely wonderful. The pool does get busy so grab your seat early if you want to lounge. The highlight was access to the Chi Beach Club which is right on the water. We took the resort shuttle and made reservations at the Beach Club on two separate days - it was so enjoyable we had to go twice! The vibe is luxe and stylish, its family friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. I think if we experienced just the resort we might have felt isolated and removed from the action (which is great if that is what you are looking for!). But the resort plus the beach club gave us a wonderful well-rounded experience of this part of Koh Samui

• Amy (10/5): Lekkerste dagen in Samui gehad - De kamer was brandschoon, bedden lagen heerlijk. Fijn dat je de tas kon gebruiken voor het zwembad. Zwembad was heerlijk, vooral met de beanbags erin. Kinderen vermaken zich hier prima. Ontbijt was heerlijk, gevarieerd en het personeel was altijd aardig. Beste dagen van Koh Samui in dit hotel gehad. Zou zeker terugkomen. Het enige “minpunt” is dat het wat meer afgelegen ligt. Maar een scooter regelen ze zo voor je. En anders is er nog een taxi of hun shuttlebus
• Ashley (8/5): - Chi Samui is a lovely resort. My room was very nice. It’s very clean. The sauna is fabulous, just had to ask to have it turned on. The staff was helpful and kind. The pool and floaties are nice. The pool was quite warm. The food and drink is good, it does get expensive but the 7/11 is about a 10 minute walk. The Chi Samui Beach Club is beautiful with places to chill around the pool or relax on a chaise one the beach.

• bethanalyss (10/5): Beautiful tranquil hotel in Bophut - Beautiful hotel in tranquil setting in Bophut, very chilled a short walk to local restaurants and bars. The hotel provides yoga and sound meditation classes, a free shuttle to their beach club and a fantastic breakfast! The staff at Chi are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you have all you need for your stay. Special shout out to Panda for all her help and recommendations during my stay 😊 Just note the hotel is a little out of the way so is perfect for a chilled stay and close to the beach, shops and restaurants, if you want to go further it’s easy to use a moped or get taxis via grab! Would recommend Chi to everyone!

Would have liked to spend more time there. Very handy for airport and exploring the town. Would defo stay again.

Me and my partner spent my birthday out here and they couldn’t have done more they surprised me with a birthday cake and them singing and a birthday message on the hotel bed! The room was nice but the kitchen was old. the bathroom shower was tiny, the entire floor got wet every time i took a shower because these was no shower door. the wifi in the room was very good but the minute you stepped outside of your room it was basically non existent. the food was good but very exprensive. $21 US for a burger. the pool was nice and big. the gym was ok but very hot. it had a glass ceiling so it was basically a sauna. i stayed for 2 1/2 weeks so i really got to know the property well. would i go back again ? yes but not for so long. 3 or 4 days max

The restaurant overlooking the pool serves delicious dishes that are an explosion of flavors. They also have a dry and steam sauna, and the surrounding area is surrounded by pure nature not far from the shops. Thanks for everything!

• Angsteo (8/5): Good Value for money but… - This was our second stay in Chi Samui so I’ve scored it to cover both stays covering two months. With a long stay that is were you get the value for money the price drops significantly. The rooms are good, and modern we had both the garden room and a suite. They just have tea coffee etc and two water bottles however no plates or cutlery etc if you were to buy from the 7/11 store about 1/2 mile away. Beds are very large and comfortable they kindly added a topper for our bed for extra softening, great service. Staff are perfect, very helpful and most of all welcoming, and engaging with customers. 6/5 for staff if I could. Now for hopefully overall constructive feedback. It is advertised as a relaxing, yoga, spa type hotel however the second time was not like as the website “chilled out atmosphere”. Young families with children playing was nice to hear however many times kids being left to run around and jump in the pool is not relaxing. Also lots of people smoking around the pool which was very strong smelling on many occasions. Finely the food and drinks are very expensive. 200+ bahts for a standard cappuccino and 150 for bottle of beer given the local prices even in beach clubs was too much. For a 4 star hotel with 5 star pricing I’m expecting a side biscuit with my coffee or local snacks served with drinks on a wooden platter for that price. More value could be added here. Overall not bad place just could be better in my simple minded opinion.

• Rubydaydream (10/5): Chi has my heart! - I had an amazing stay at Chi Resort! The atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place to unwind. I especially loved the yoga class, which was both relaxing and energizing—such a great way to start the day. The pool was another highlight, with stunning palm tree, good vibes and the perfect temperature for a refreshing swim. Will be back again!

Friendly staff, overall nice environment. Nice size room with towels for washing and separate beach towels provided. The resort has an app which you can sort everything on, from arranging a taxi to getting the maids to clean the room - very handy. Bed was extremely firm, making it hard to get a good night sleep. We paid for breakfast the night before we had it and then got questioned by staff in the morning while eating breakfast if we had paid, very disruptive and annoying. There was CCTV in reception so they could have just checked that. Also for breakfast we paid 1000 Baht (500pp) which is not worth it at all, do not bother! The staff were lovely but put us off after being questioned in front of everyone.

• Dk95284191 (10/5): LA 60’s feel Superior Hotel - It’s not a beachfront hotel but makes up for that with stunningly comfortable modern and well kept rooms . We are in room 56 which has a bedroom, kitchen and lounge room the opens up to private patio steps from a large pool . Around the pool is the eating area, covered relaxing areas and massive deck loaded with beach chairs . Mrs Karson the manager makes it clear from the start if you need something and they can do it they will and they did . Her attention to guests is something you will not get at the busy beach front hotels. You definitely don’t feel like you’re in a hotel room here and the beach is a 10 min walk or there is a shuttle at your service which can be booked on their app. Put all this together with 2 saunas a small gym and great staff it’s a winner here and far cheaper than most hotels of a similar standard . We go in to town for lunch and a massage and are so comfortable here you don’t feel the need to rush out anytime. I also found a serious gym around the corner for those who like to go harder and it’s $200 baht a day and 10 min walk around the corner. Overall we are here for a week and I feel like it was a great holiday experience and choice . Great Boutique hotel! Thank you Chi Samui
• Katriona (8/5): The most comfortable - beautiful property and rooms, we were so comfortable (one of the comfiest we stayed in in thailand) the pool area was stunning and we loved the restuarant. Reception staff were very helpful and honest and the shuttle tuktuk was very helpful. GREAT breakfast buffet and options DO NOT be fooled by the photos. This property is not on the beach. We were kinda shocked when we got there and had to go back and check the listing. Its only made clear in one sentence that you are not on the beach and the photos are of the sister property Chi Samui beach club, of which there is a free shuttle bus. The beach club is a 5 minute drive away and you are NOT gaurenteed beds, they need to be prebooked. Although the pool is stunning the sun only covers one half of it during the day so we found other holiday makers laying out their towels and belongings at 7am. The staff should consider putting a stop to this behaviour and give all residents the fair chance to go lay in the sun. If youre not going to relax on the sunbeds when you lay your things down then you shouldnt be able to leave them there to block the beds.
• Michael (8/5): Very good - Nice small resort. The food was very good and the apartment was very comfortable. Staff friendly. My son had stomach flu when we arrived, so I spent most of the time in the apartment. Just to be clear, my son did not get sick at Chi Saumi. Would be happy to return. Under better circumstances. Nothing springs to mind.

We will come again for sure :) Wifi is great, breakfast are amazing, we love this hotel :) They should have picture from beach on hotel booking- beach is Chi Samui beach club and you should have a reservation for sunbeds.

The free shuttle to and from Chi beach club is really handy and the fact you can use your app to arrange housekeeping or contact the front office is really great.

A shuttle was available to take us to a busy street with restaurants etc .. please visit NOI restaurant.. it looks nothing from the roadside but the food is good

• Gabriella (10/5): - I stayed for two nights, nothing to fault. The room was beautiful and clean, staff helpful and friendly. I didn’t have any food whilst I was here but did eat at the beach club down the road which was amazing. Pretty setting. The hotel has a super efficient shuttle bus that can drop you off to places in Samui, if it was near it was free, if not around 400 baht to Chaweng beach. Would happily stay again and recommend!
• Daniel (5/5): Fantastic staff and hotel location was very bad and food was expensive - Had a very modern look to it and was maintained extremely well. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and a credit to the hotel. The food was lovely besides the fact it was expensive. No hot water in the room, lots of mosquitoes around the pool area, gym had a very limited variety of equipment, photos shown that the pool bar was part of the hotel but turned out to be a separate part which you had to book to enter and was about 10-15 minutes away on foot from the hotel and it was never available to us. Food was very overpriced in the restaurant. We had to pay about 10,000 BHT in additional transport due to there not being much around the hotel to do. Very limited Sun beds in the sun the majority of the beds are in the shade.

How the food/drink prices could have been cheaper from travelling around other places in Thailand that was definitely the most we’ve spent on food and drinks.
• Elisabeth (1/5): Very disappointing experience. Hotel is situated in a C location - Uiterlijk van buiten The beach is not in anyway connected to the hotel as suggested in the pictures. This is a 15 to 20 min walk through small alleys to get to the beach. The bathroom has no privacy, you can look through the mirror separating the bathroom from the room. If you forget to close curtains from room, whole hotel can see you shower. In bathroom there is no space next to the sink to put stuff like toothbrush and such. Room is ok and clean, but they did not make up the bed and/or put new towels. We booked for 2 days but we left this hotel after 1 day.
• Tia (10/5): Lovely - Lovely, clean, luxurious and staff couldn’t do more for us if they tried. The photos are misleading and the ‘beach’ is part of the hotels sister hotel. Told we would get ‘VIP discount’ to arrive and the prices were extortionate. Other than that it’s a lovely place to stay
• Tera (10/5): Beautiful luxe hotel with top and friendly atmosphere in Koh Samui paradise. - This is our second stay and we love it here. The rooms are a good size and the beds / PILLOWS are the most comfortable on the entire island ( for real though ) The food here is fantastic quality, tasty and a diverse selection of. The kitchen staff are so kind and attentive truly. We will always stay here on our Koh Samui visits . Nothing it’s just fabulous!
• Maria (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - sparkling clean, lovely pool - The room and staff were fantastic. The room was super clean at all times and we actually stayed twice at this boutique hotel before and after our trip to the islands. Unfortunately the food. And we tried many different options form the Pad Thai to pizzas and burgers, everything was below average. Same as the cocktails they mostly felt like juice with ice.
