- Davila (8/5): - Pretty good service, the bed was comfortable and the room had lots of space. The shower was kinda weird like not enough pressure and leaking of a secondary shower head. The entire place lacked lightning. It felt a bit depressing only having the lamps to light up the place at night. It said that the room had air conditioning but it only reached 18°C so the room was still really hot, I had to sleep with the window open and it barely helped. The steak I ordered was supposed to be medium rare but it was like actually raw.

Their garage is two blocks away They gave me a room right under their party room so I hear the trampling of the Choo choo 2am in the morning when I couldn’t stand it anymore. - Nikoletta (7/5): great stay, great staff - The staff were so friendly, helpful, and kind. They gave me recommendations and help. The room is big, the bed is comfortable, and the wi fi speed is great. It is right downtown, so walking distance to restaurants. It is located on a main road, so it is ridiculously noisy. Closing the windows doesn’t help. The loud music from the store across the street starts at 8 am and doesn’t end until late. There is an annoying traffic light that sounds like an alarm that starts at 7 and doesn’t end until 9 pm. Sleeping in is not an option.

En el hotel le aparecen las dos y me deciam q anule o me cobrarian no se que cosa hotels.com em mi tc. Quiero dejar en claro que su app esta funcionando mal. No es la primera vez q me desaparece la reserva.

- cigarpasionado (2/5): Horrible stay! - Had a reservation for 3 days,decided to stay 2, was charged for all 3 days, staff and supervisor on duty did not want to do anything about this. Morning manager was arrogant. Facilities are very old, rooms look like the 70’s. I will never stay here again and definitely do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. At night you feel very unsafe in the area. Never again!

- janicef206 (2/5): Front desk staff not friendly or helpful at all - Arrived at 10:30 and was very ill. Asked if I could have the room early as I desperately needed to lay down. I was told no and shown no compassion although they could see I was suffering. I was told to come back in a few hours. About 45 minutes later I noticed some guests being given keys so I went back and asked for my room again. The front desk staff had some excuses but then they found a room for me. Shame on this hotel as this is certainly not 5 star service. I get treated much better in 3 star hotels. I would never stay here again

- JC SANCHEZ (6/5): It is a good option to be a few days - I went to Ambato because of job issues. The hotel received me with an early check in without additional fees, I appreciated it. The location is perfect to work there, because you have all important buildings close.
- lapsrus (8/5): Very good hotel - I stayed for nearly a week at the Hotel Emperador with a group. We all liked the stay. The location was good, with restaurants a short walk away, all the way from hot dog stands (across the street) to fast food to near-fine dining. The hotel restaurant was also good. I would have preferred more and better towling and dual pane windows, but the people were great. Would stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent location and super friendly staff - Hotel is ideally located in the heart of downtown Ambato, within close walking distance to the Cathedral, main market, and a couple of parks. The hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful in suggesting activities and offering restaurant recommendations. This was the perfect location for experiencing Carnival!
- TomislavTopic (4/5): Bad bad night - We chose the Presidential Suite for our one night stay. AACC was broken! Had to call twice to find that out. Hotel offered us a fan, to change room in another floor or a discount on our stay. Tired as we were opted for the last alternative. Street noise was unbearable. There is this ridiculous street light audible sign for the blind that will keep you awake all night. Couldn't sleep for more than 3 hours! Windows should be sound proof.
- 388negrad (8/5): Nice Hotel - The hotel is really nice and totally different to any other hotel around. The rooms were amazing and well-distributed. The pool area was neat and water was well-tempered. The gym was also on-point and had plenty of equipment. All of the staff were kind and attentive, the only problem was with one of the receptionists who had a condescending attitude and treated us all like we were meaningless.

- mvassy (8/5): Very nice experience - I stayed here 10 days in june. The hotel is well located in the center of the city. I liked very much the spacious room with its big bed. There is great variety of choice at breakfast and the food was tasty. The lunch and dinner is decent, but it seems that there is some problem of organization, as even when there were not too much people in the restaurant sometimes there were slow in serving the dishes. But the views from the 6th floor restaurant are amazing. The waiters are also nice. All the hotel staff was nice and helpful.

- janphilipb2022 (8/5): Nice facility, good amenities - Spacious, comfortable rooms and public areas. Very nice space with large jacuzzi, sauna and nice pool. Good location in this tranquil but interesting city. Avoid the restaurant. The food is very ordinary except for a marinated salmon appetizer. Look instead for "El Escondite" on calle Rocafuerte for one of the best lunches in town. Roka Plaza's restaurant also has excellent food as does Palacio del Congrejo.

- RamblerAmerican1544 (6/5): Nice hotel but... - We spent one night in this hotel. Hotel was nice enough but there were some concerns. First of all, there was only one towel in the bathroom and no facecloths. The bed was harder than we would have liked, though some may prefer that. Dinner was a disappointment. We both chose filet mignon which was tough and not very flavorable. The biggest concern and one the hotel should address immediately is the shower. After adjusting the water temperature the pressure would surge and the temperature would change. One surge resulted in water that would have scalded me had I not retreated to the back of the tub yelling for my wife to turn the water off because I could not reach it without risking injury. No exaggeration.
