• Laura (10/5): - Nous ne sommes restés qu’une nuit mais aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. L’hôtel est une ancienne maison coloniale très jolie. Proche du centre à pied, environ 10/15 min. Les chambres sont décorées avec goût. Le personnel a été très accueillant et nous a aidés avec toutes nos demandes

• Deborah (9/5): - The design and decor of this boutique is stunning and inspiring. The hotel is close to the old city. We had exceptional assisted and attendance by Wilson. The pool is a lovely space to relax in after a hot day. Our room was of generous proportions and the bathroom was lovely. Perhaps a mini fridge in the room would be a great addition

• Gustavo (8/5): Optima escolha - O staff foi o ponto alto da nossa estadia, sempre atenciosos e disponíveis. Os quartos sao muito espaçosos e confortáveis. A casa é muito bonita, estilo colonial e acolhedora, sendo que a localização é segura e sem o barulho do centro, e a uma distancia a pé de 5 minutos. O PA poderia ser melhorado.

• Ines (10/5): Muy recomendable - El hotel es precioso, habitación muy grande y cómoda, el desayuno al aire libre. Es muy agradable salir de la habitación directamente a la piscina. Especial agradecimiento a Blanca por su amabilidad. Aunque está cerca de la playa y de la muralla hay que cruzar carreteras con tráfico y sin cruces para peatones.

No coffee machine or kettle for tea water in room, neither minibar in room. Personnel reception sometimes difficult to reach. Only simple restaurants in thd neighbourbood.

• Trieuvan (9/5): - The property is beautiful and clean. I really like the aesthetic. The staff were warm and very friendly. The location is close to the airport, the city wall and museum. Very quiet and walkable area. I appreciate the tips the staff provided on my first day about Cartagena and all services were swift. One staff member speaks English and the rest speaks Spanish which is great because I got a chance to practice Spanish with them! I wish the shower water could be a little warmer and a mini fridge would be great. The mattress is a hit or miss depending on the day for me. But I would stay again next time! Overall the staff made the experience!!

La habitación que teníamos aunque bastante grande poco iluminada y que nos aconsejaron cogernos un taxi por volver por la noche pero no lo hicimos.

It is a quiet place (important to us) with a nice breakfast offered near the swimming pool. Rosa, the concierge, is absolutely wonderful. She was most helpful during our stay with any and all questions we had about restaurants and places to visit in the city. Blanca, our housekeeper at Casa Bustamante, was very accommodating as well.

Falta um pouco de criatividade e variedade. Sentimos muita falta de um frigobar. As altas temperaturas da cidade demandam esse conforto nos quartos.
• Kaner (10/5): Superbe hôtel - L’hôtel a énormément de charme, il est typique de l’architecture locale. Les chambres sont confortables et la piscine est un gros plus. L’hôtel est à sept minutes en Taxi du centre historique ou 25 minutes à pied. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de bouteilles d'eau dans la chambre car nous sommes arrivés très tard et nous n'avons pas pu boire.
• Lucien Thomas (10/5): - Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil de Rose, toujours très disponible. La proximité, sans y être, de la vieille ville permet de vivre au calme avec la piscine pour se décontracter. Nous y sommes déjà venus récemment et confirmons nos impressions.

Mención especial para Rose en la recepción como para Manuel y Wilson en hacer nuestra estancia mucho más cómoda y segura. Son excelentes personas y staff. Muchas gracias a los 3. Mis puntos negativos son para la mujer del dueño del hotel que debía estar de paso por allí pero no hizo más que molestar a los clientes en las horas de descanso a la noche como si estuviese en su propia casa. Tuve que llamarle la atención y lejos de pedir disculpas aún se ofendió. Me pareció vergonzoso.

• Claire (9/5): Colonial house - We were happy with our stay because the place feels authentic and representative of the colonial past. The beautiful living /sitting room (and reception area) with the old photos and furniture made us feel like guests to someone's house. Rose with her smile and good vibes is all the money! The patio with the small swimming pool, where breakfast is served, is very cool and relaxing. Rooms are simple but very spacious with good air-conditioning. The place is super safe as there is someone there 24 hours to lock and unlock the front garden door. We really missed a small fridge in the room. The weather is so hot that you definitely need one to put in some cold water or something Also there wasn't a hairdryer but luckily Rose managed to get me one immediately. The rooms feel somewhat dark because they lack natural light

• Daniela (10/5): Simply great for a stay in Cartagena - Cosy little hotel, a haven of peace within the noise of Cartagena. But what makes it really special, is the owners and the employees. We were treated as real guests, everybody was very friendly and helpful. The location is quite good, only 10 minutes by foot away from the bustling Centro Historico of Cartagena, Within the hotel, it's quiet and comfortable. Felt safe in the surroundings, also at night. Good breakfast. Nice little pool to cool off, comfortable sunbeds and sunshade, inviting furniture in the patio. Thanks again to everybody for making our stay so very special! Can't really think of anything.

Durante a estadia realizou-se uma festa privada no hotel com inúmeros convidados e música em níveis sonoros irritantes que começou no sábado a tarde e terminou no domingo: bem em frente ao meu apartamento. Presença de urubu na piscina.

• Fabricio (9/5): - Ich bin bereits zum vierten Mal im Bustamante gewesen und bin sehr zufrieden - insbesondere stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in der eher teuren Stadt Cartagena. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und es gibt ein leckeres Frühstück. Aufgrund der Lage aussehalb der Stadtmauer ist es auch angenehm ruhig im Hotel - insbesondere in der Nacht. Dennoch rate ich stets ein Uber zu nehmen um ins Stadtzentrum zu gelangen (z.B bis zum Einkauszentrum Serrezuela) - geht ca. 5min. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder ins Bustamante bei einem nächsten Aufenthalt in Cartagena. Sucht man das Haar in der Suppe: Das Wasser zum Duschen war stets kalt. In der Karibik wohl eher ein kleineres Problem, aber dennoch wäre etwas wärmeres Wasser zum Duschen angenehm gewesen.
• Sofia (9/5): Nice quiet stay in cartagena - We had a huge room, warm shower, the personel is very friendly, the pool is a welcome cooldown in afternoon, we had it to ourselves. Location is a bit outside the centre but still walking distance. We didnt take breakfast as it was mostly eggs.

I arrived early, checkin 3pm, waiting for 2 hours in the main entrance, no coffee or thee, and after all, they finished cleaning almost 3.30pm, I think for the price they are asking they could offer a coffee/thee or water. breakfast is not included and buying one is pretty expensive. Do not forget to ask internet codes, internet is not very good. I was not able to have a video conference in my room.
• Jutta (9/5): Very nice place to stay . Amazing staff . Great to relax and close to town - The staff was incredible so nice. The hotel is beautiful. Nice swimming pool. Wonderful room and really quiet .10 to 15 minute walk or an easy ride on uber ( inexpensive ) I am vegan and breakfast is not that appealing. As well you are in one way close to the red old town but near by is not much food or good coffee.

• Adrian C (10/5): Comfy and relaxing stay in sunny Cartagena - It was indeed a boutique hotel, felt like I have the entire place for myself. The room was small but modern, clean, air conditioned and comfortable. Right in front of my room's door there was a pool with a few sunbeds, lovely place to chill out. Several beaches nearby, a few minutes walk. Walk to Historico Centro was about 10 minutes. The personnel was really kind and helpful! The breakfasts were tasty too. I definitely recommend this place! Could improve housekeeping a little bit, so towels are replaced and cosmetics are refilled. But that was probably overlooked.

Mi habitación estaba muy bien para una estancia de una semana yo solo, y es adecuada para una pareja. La atención del personal fue muy cercana y amable. • Vitalija (8/5): - Historic boutique hotel, very quiet, in the entrance hall you feel like in a museum. Very attentive and friendly staff. Cosy yard with pool. The rooms are dark and since this is historic building with old tiles, they give a feeling that this is not crystal clean.

• Melissa (8/5): Charming hotel within easy walking of old city and Getsemaní - Lovely little property with just 8 rooms. Staff had minimal English but were charming and helpful. Our room was huge. Lovely pool area. Generous breakfast each morning. Just 8 minute walk to Old City and one block back from sea front. Housekeeping didn’t seem to exist. Think you have to request cleaning if wanted. Had to request gate to be unlocked every time we went out but perhaps was a good thing for security although felt very safe.
