Ein wunderschönes Anwesen mit guten ÖPNV-Anbindungen nach Brüssel. Aufgrund der dachschräge hatte das Bad eine Badewanne statt einer Dusche, dies war für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt kein Problem, aber etwas schwieriger zu handeln.

- Martin (6/5): Niet zo positief, B&B geen 4 sterren waardig. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. - Ligging van de B&B, rustige omgeving om te wandelen en te fietsen. Onmiddellijk binnen het bereik van Brussel waar we voor ons weekendje een afspraak hadden. Inkom onmiddellijk in de slaapplaats. Geen tapijt om je voeten te vegen. Met het heel slechte weer houten vloer onmiddellijk vuil. Langs de ene kant van het bed slechts 15cm tussen het bed en de schouw? Heel moeilijk om het bed te bereiken zonder tegen de schouw aan te stoten. Kamer bevindt zich tegenover de parking, gelegen buiten de mooie binnenplaats. Geen raambekleding waardoor je volledige in het zicht zit van alle personen die toekomen en vertrekken. Ontbijt was beperkt, weinig soorten brood. Koffiemachine werkte heel slecht.

As a dog lover I was positively surprised to pet the dogs in the morning. Everything was perfect. It would be great to have a gym but they mentioned it will be added in the next few months.

- Mettetweet (8/5): A cosy, newly redecorated BB with good atmosphere nearby the city - It´s a cosy and nice place in the country, it´s not far from Brussel, Gent or Antwerpen. The staff was realy friendly, nice and serviceminded. Big, nice newly redecorated rooms, whit nice bathrooms. The breakfast was good. Parking was inkluded and right outside. Thank you for good service, we would like to come back another time. We were recomended from BB to visit the botanical garden in Meise with Bouchout Castle, it´s in walking distance from the BB, it was lovely and we will higly recomend you to visit. Nothing, we liked everyting.

The accommodation is beautifully restored and our host Sylvie was wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent! I will definitely stay again.
- Alexander (9/5): Beautiful B & B set in a beautiful country landscape. - Everything was perfect, and it had everything we needed. Easy to find, close to Brussels. Breakfast was wonderful, and host was very kind and attentive. Plenty of free parking, and location was very pretty . Trails nearby to bike and hike. The facilities were beautifully refinished. We will definitely come back if we are in the area. The only thing, I wish the TV was in the bedroom on the wall. Just a bit uncomfortable to watch TV in the "other" room in the small chairs provided.

- Branimir (4/5): Fancy but noisy - Clean, comfortable, beautifully restored old house, superb breakfast, on site parking with charger for electric cars (20€ per charge) Although this looks like a rural, peaceful B&B, the road is VERY busy from 6 AM and we could feel vibrations and hear noise as each bus passes next to the house. The bathroom fan gets on when humidity is over a certain level, but it's not controllable neither it can reduce the humidity under that threshold, which means that we had to listen to the humming of it all night. There was also a lot of ladybugs in the area recently and since there are no insect nets on the room windows, they were flying around the room. Staff helped vacuum clean them, but they kept coming in the room (this is a temporary issue it seems).
- Helena (10/5): A true gem! - What is not to like!? The welcome card says “Welcome to your home!”. Trust me, by the time you leave, you wish it was yours to stay forever! The property is gorgeous - tastefully restored and decorated. Our room was quiet and even with the extremely high temperature outside it felt cool. The bed was super comfortable, linen crisp and beautifully embroidered. A delicious and sumptuous breakfast in the morning sets you up for the day. The owners are extremely friendly, helpful and make you really feel welcome. When you run out of superlatives to describe a place, you know it is a winner. It was a delight to stay at the Sterckxhof!

The door wasn’t exactly soundproof, the curtains didn’t quite close but overall it’s a good place to stay. Breakfast was adequate and the hosts were pleasant enough.

Die Betreiber sind ganz nett und zuvorkommend. Bei der Ankunft sollte man diese erst anrufen, so bekommt man die Zugangsdaten... - Für unseren Geschmack ist die Matratze viel zu weich, dafür gibt es aber keine negative Bewertung.

- Jorunn (10/5): Gjennomreise - Veldig hyggelig dame som tok i mot oss rask innsjekk. Vi fikk rom 1 litt rart at det ikke var dør til toalett. Da må gjerne den andre som er med gå ut. Rommet var stort og fint og senga var nydelig. Når det gjelder frokosten bør man ha noe mere pålegg og kanskje spørre om noen vil ha egg før frokosten er ferdig. Egner seg godt for 1 natt. Så videre. Men bra rom og hyggelig betjening.

- Rafael (10/5): Charming B&B near Brussels - Charming B&B, very nice host family who gave us nice insights to their beautiful and historic location as well as surroundings (definitely visit the nearby Botanical Garden in Meise).

- IvanZkey (8/5): Out of the box B&B hotel - Helaas was de shampoo op in de douche. Toplocatie om de mountainbikeroute Miel Van Cauter te fietsen.
- Lowri (8/5): Good little find. - Stayed here on the way to the ferry. Easy to find and good location. Very friendly staff. Lovely decorated rooms and good choice of food for breakfast. Suite was a good size and bed was very comfortable. Was however quite noisy due to the single glazed windows and being by the road but it didn't keep us awake at night. Would stay here again.
- CL (8/5): Endroit calme et reposant. - J'ai en fait séjourné dans une jolie suite avec vue sur jardin. Accueil remarquable par des proprétaires toujours disponibles pour leurs hôtes.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Geweldigland huis met karakter - Het is een oud landhuis wat een paar jaar gelden omgebouwd is naar B&B met alles wat er bij hoort mooie oude goed onderhouden meubels veel karakter en houten vloeren. Prachtig ingericht. Klein maar voldoende. Goed sanitair en super service. Een ontbijt waar nog verse sinaasappelsap word aangeboden en je eitje conform jou wens word gebakken en je je vinger verbrand aan de warme verse croissant.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Chouette B&B, déco sympa, propriétaires très aimables. Parking + bon resto pas trop loin mais un peu cher. Croissants délicieux, bon jus d'orange pressé et beaucoup de choix de confiture (dont l'ananas très bon). Petits points négatifs, impossible de mettre la prise de la bouilloire dans la multiprise, j'ai dû la changer d'endroit, par terre. Poubelle pas complètement vidée à mon arrivée.
